Using SQLcl 4.2 on windows 10 need to insert remote aws hostname
When I start the 4.2 SQLcl application I go directly to entering my user name and password the credentials. I would like to know how to manually change the startup script for SQLcl to prompt me for the desired localhost or remote hostname i.e. remote awsremotehost instead of the localhost. I am running SQLcl on my windows 10 machine and connecting to AWS. SQL developer 41.7 and 18.104.22.168 are connecting fine. I would like to change the connection string from jdbc:oracle:thin:#localhost:1521/orcl to = jdbc:oracle:thin:#awsremotehost:1521/orcl The app works great easy install I am just unable to define my own host. Please advise and thank a lot for a great app. USER = URL = jdbc:oracle:thin:#localhost:1521/orcl Error Message = IO Error: The Network Adapter could not establish the connection
when you launch the tool, just type 'sql' it will prompt you for the rest
