Help, I can not return to Stock Firmeware! Erro Partition name - Moto G6 Plus Questions & Answers

Hey guys! I need help.
this is my erro
fastboot flash boot patched_bootOPW27.113-45-4.img
Sending 'boot__b' (18992 KB) OKAY [ 0.421s]
Writing 'boot__b' (bootloader) Invalid partition name boot__b
FAILED (remote: '')
Finished. Total time: 0.436s
I use this tutorial, the erro occurs in almost all commands
can you give a hand to fix that erro?
Thanks!

@dunno ? first that's not stock. But either way try this instead.
Fastboot flash boot_b ...and the boot image name.
Just one underscore and slot to designate either a or b.
When flashing stock I like mfastboot and flashall.bat file.. A bit dated but does the job where fastboot fails.
Try this let me know if you need help.

@Duuo,
Of course. There are some recently updated Stock ROM's posted. But any will get you operating.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/g6-plus/how-to/firmware-moto-g6-g6plus-t3789274
Brilliant Guide with links you might need.

Another brilliant guide with links to download and use mfastboot.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/g6-plus/how-to/flashall-bat-flash-stockfirmware-via-t3789160
The flashall.bat file. Using mfastboot you need to right click, edit the .bat file... place an "m" in front of fastboot & save it.
Place the flashall.bat in the Stock ROM folder.
The mfastboot files go in with adb/fastboot files.
Click the flashall.bat and it should install the system and reboot.

doubt:
in the file https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=1322778262904028630, i do not find the system.img and recovery.img.
I found only the files oem_other.img, oem.img and bootloader.img. Which i use?
thanks. sorry for my bad english

Those are the correct files. We do not have a recovery image.
To install a GSI which contains system, boot & vendor image that's a different subject..
Those are the Stock ROM files. Place the fashall.bat file in there after editing click it & will do for you. Or copy/paste Each Command from the First Link with Stock ROM just takes much longer.

Hey! I use the bat file, but i have to edit this file, then use each one command manually, but when im enter the command mfastboot erase DDR a erro occurs:
mfastboot erase DDR
erasing 'DDR'...

finished. total time: 0.003s
Need i this?
thanks again

No it's fine.
In some stock ROM's it's able to erase DDR partition but not necessary.

You shouldn't need to enter all those commands when using the .bat file. That's what it's for. ?

Hi there, I have the latest 7.19.401.2 firmware including HBOOT 1.61. I copied the RUU to the root of my sdcard, renamed it to PN07IMG.zip and went into the bootloader, went into fastboot but nothing happened? I'd love to try this method

You don't boot the phone into fastboot, you boot it into HBOOT and it should read the file (if on the root of your microSD card)

I hope I was able to help you earlier.
About root, I was looking for a solution, but unfortunately the only way to get root working is by flashing a modded kernel and then supersu zip. Chainfire did this for nexus and someone did this for Moto X 2014.
Unfortunately I don't know anything about modding kernel and we need someone who is able to do that, or else you get bootloop flashing root.

I'm talking about this part especifically:
"
Acquiring root without modifying the boot images is still under investigation. Please note that the current method will not be officially supported. Future roots may require a clean system: we are at a very early stage of root for 6.0, methods used are subject to change.
For the modders, you can do the sepolicy modifications yourself as follows:
- root a reference device (4.4+ with SELinux enabled) with v2.50+
- extract the sepolicy file from the target boot image's ramdisk
- with the reference device connected to ADB:
Code:
adb push sepolicy /data/local/tmp/sepolicy
adb shell su -c "supolicy --file /data/local/tmp/sepolicy /data/local/tmp/sepolicy_out"
adb shell su -c "chmod 0644 /data/local/tmp/sepolicy_out"
adb pull /data/local/tmp/sepolicy_out sepolicy_out
- replace the sepolicy file in the boot image's ramdisk with the sepolicy_out file
- profit
"

Well, it's telling you right there what's the problem: the size of CUST.img is too big for your phone's partition (cust).
A little background into what you are doing, what happened, etc might get more help.

I got that after few googling and came to conclusion not to mess up with partition. I am stuck on erecovery due to wrong recovery and ROM. Please, would you mind passing me stock recovery and cust for CAN-L11 4.1 marshmallow?
I don't have those, but they will be in the update.app. Once you get the update.app you can use Huawei extractor tool to extract recovery.img. Once you have stock recovery you can follow guides about updating huawei devices. It involves entering stock recovery with the update.app in a folder called dload or something. Haven't touched that in a while. I think it is the same for most Huawei devices.

Hey, do you have any idea that how can I unlock frp without accessing developer mode? My frp is lock and bootloader too so why I cannot flash custom recovery to restore twrp backups.
did you try to install the mm img after upgrading to nougat? Because this is what happens when you try that. Nougat has different partition sizes (because the new way of updating that google implemented) and you will not be able to rollback to mm that way (you need mm partition table, which we don't have).

dc-unlocker can do the trick, but you have to pay for it.

did you mean keyboard or keyword is an app you had and now you don't have anymore? For the first case, I think I had the same problem and I just downloaded and installed gboard (my fav) via adb. If you're looking for an app (service) named keyword, I don't know how to help you =/

Can't get RSD Lite to detect my Moto X (pure)

My brother gave me a rooted phone, so to unroot it I got a .bat off of a site to flash the stock firmware, but now the wifi doesn't work on it, so I think the firmware I used had the wrong radio firmware. I ended up getting the flashfile off of the motorola dev site and made sure it was the right one. I then got RSD Lite and it's not detecting my phone when I plug it in. I made sure I got adb and fastboot, I installed the motorola usb drivers, I put my phone into Fastboot flash mode, I have my phone in debugging mode, I've tried different USB Cables, different USB ports, I've ran it in administator and I still can't get it to detect my phone. Does anybody know a fix for this, or a different way I could flash my xml file onto my phone?
When I downloaded RSD, there was another link for the drivers. When I downloaded it, it had 5 different files (pic attached). This may or may not be the issue, but I couldn't figure out what to do with these files.
Thanks!
Simplier is harder sometimes - i've never used .bat or rsd - only fastboot, keyboard and fingers.
Thera are two good tutorials fot it.
Wifi - sometimes it is needed to repeat few commands: from modem... to... bt,
Drivers - Motorola Device Managers installs all,
Unroot - "unroot & restore boot" iwith supersu/magisk manager app.
You flashed something - there isn't flashable Nougat for all models - give us more info - xt15??, DSim/SSim, last android ver....

Sorry for the late reply. The hardware SKU is XT1575 and the android version is 5.1.1
I just barely followed this tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=njXQYn53SPc, and I still wasn't able to get it to work.
I also got my firmware off of this site https://androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=44735, to my knowledge, I flashed it with the correct firmware. I downloaded and flashed from this download - CLARK_RETUS_5.1.1_LPH23.116-18_cid9_subsidy-DEFAULT_CFC.xml.zip
Also I'm a noob when it comes to phones, so I'm not sure what DSim/SSim means.
Thank you!
Sorry, I can't tell anything about RSD.
If you want more help you should flash 6.0. or 7.0(your link AFH) with this tutorial:

fastboot erase modemst1

fastboot flash bluetooth BTFM.bin

I've just given up on RSD Lite, because what happens is it is supposed to detect my phone when I plug it in it doesn't. I have a new problem, though. I followed this guide - https://forum.xda-developers.com/mo...de-return-to-stock-relock-bootloader-t3489110.
He said that it would be safe to flash a new version (I've been flashing 5.1.1, and I tried flashing 6.0 this time). Now my phone is stuck on the "Warning Bootloader Unlocked" screen.
Wait, maybe will boot...?
Why do you quote me if you aren't doing what I suggest?
Ask in thread you linked.
All right, I finally fixed both issues. I just flashed 7.0 on there and it unbricked it and I guess fixed the radio firmware.
Thanks for help leading me in the right direction and sorry if I was a pain in the rear to help.
