app to show current phone number on screen for xda2i , this is needed as i have 2 o2 sims and need to know which is booted up at the time

Operator or SIM problem ????

My problem is that people can't reach my mobile (even with full reception). They have to call twice. I think the problem happens after I check my mail over G3-UMTS.
My operator suggested to change the SIM card !!!!
any similar problems ????

Automatic DTS

Hi everyone, I just purchased a Cingular 8125 and I was wondering if there is a way to give it automatic DTS? I use 2 phones so I am constantly switching my sim card out and everytime I take the battery out of the 8125, It loses the time and date. Is there anyway to prevent this from happening? I searched for automatic DTS, wm5 fixes, all that, and couldn't find anything. Please also let me know if I'm not searching for the correct terms. Thanks for any help in advance!

Go to start-->settings-->phone-->time zones tab and check the automatic change time zone and clock box and it should reset the time and date for you when you put your sim back in.

Very Strange Problem(must Look)

hello guys,iam from india using atom pure.nowadays iam facing a very critical problem,my phone automatically receives the incoming calls without any notification sound.the caller talks nd after the call is ended from his side,then my phone shows a missed call notification.i had even tried hard reseting my atom nd also tried to upgrade from wm5 to wm6,but the prblm still persists.the strange thing is that when i put my friends sim card into it,everything works fine,the only different thing in my sim card is gprs service activated in my sim.plz help me guyssssssssssssssss

can u tell my friend which sim r u using in atom in ur pda and which rom i think u intall a wrong multimedia software like TCMP,CORE R U USING POCKET MUSIC BUNDLE PROGRAM BECAUSE THIS TYPE OF PROBLEMS COMES WHEN .MP3 FORMET IS USING BY SOFTWARE THAT WHY SOME TIME ATOM IS NOT RECONIZE THE MP3 FILES i m also a indian u can take any help from me or any problem call on my cell no +919456684455 welcome

Hi my gene had a problem in message sending. At first my provider was Idea{INDIA} and there was no problem at all.....after sometime i changed my service provider and now using Airtel{India}....The problem is that after sending 2 or 3 messages my phone shows "the sim is invalid" after 10 or 20 seconds the problem will be over and repeats again after sending some messages....I changed my rom several times from official wm5 to newly released sumits wm6.5 rom.....and these r of no use....I use a 64bit sim and in sum forum i read that gene is not compatible with 64 bit airtel sim......is it true?

Actually IMHO AirCrap's SIMs are of poor quality, I am using a connection for last 1.5 years or so and had to change the SIM 4 times (and every time it costs money). So may be your SIM has become faulty. I am as of now using a 64 bit SIM with no problem (touch wood).
IMO get the SIM replaced.
Actually Gene or for that matter any high end devices cause problem with 16 K SIMs (given by VodaCrap for prepaid customers) and not with 32 or 64 K SIMs.

I have been using 64bit sim for quite a long time and i often switch the sims
i never faced such prob. i guess Addicted2xda is right about ur sim being faulty!
