Moto E Unable to use Whatsapp Web

As u all may b aware of the whatsapp web support feature which allows u to access whatsapp in PC . Our Moto E camera is not able to detect the QR Code , if u could come up with a solution kindly do post here .
Here is the instruction for using whatsapp in pc
To use WhatsApp in a web browser, take following steps:
WhatsApp now available on computers, but not for iPhone users
-- Update the WhatsApp app on your phone.
-- Open web.whatsapp.com in Chrome. Other browsers are not supported for now.
-- You will see a QR code. Open WhatsApp and go into menu by pressing on three dots on the top right corner of the app.
-- From the options select WhatsApp Web
-- Point your phone's camera towards the QR code inside the browser.
-- This will pair the phone and WhatsApp data with the browser. To make sure you don't have to repeat the procedure you can check the box so that your login details are remembered

it works perfectly although there is no auto focus
but if you still have a problem try placing a convex lens[it can be a magnifying] glass in front of camera so that lens touches tghe phone
had to turn up the lights in my living room, now works like a charm
Yes, due to lack of auto focus, it takes time. place the phone at such a distance so that the QR Code fills about 80% of the box and DO hold the phone still until it detects the code. or simply try zooming the webpage on your computer so that the QR Code becomes bigger and then scan it.

zooming up the page makes it easy...
if all the above does not correct the problem, try clearing the cache partition where temporary files are cached. Search for 'clear cache partition on MotoE (1, 2 or 3, whichever you have)' and use the motorola advice. Worked for me when nothing else did.

Smart Lock Trusted place

Hi guys,
I use fingerprints security for screen lock type with PIN.
I can unlock my phone with swipe, but where I am this time that place is not Trusted Place.
I have just one Trusted Place (home).
Can anybody have a similar problem?
Thanks,
Viktor
I think I found the solution.
Applications / Show system apps / Google Play Services & Google Play Services for Instant Apps
Storage and delete all data.
That's it.
Unfortunately no, I didn't find the solution.
Any idea guys?

Submit Developer help/feedback to Xiaomi team? (Fingerprint Authentication bug)

I noticed a weird bug on my phone while developing an Android app for it. I'm trying to use fingerprint authentication and Android's KeyStore to encrypt/decrypt sensitive data.
But I noticed that even if the user gets authenticated successfully, the KeyStore still throws an Exception saying the user isn't authenticated.
I noticed this bug only happening on my Mi A1 (all other devices work fine) and it only happens if Fingerprints are enrolled. If I remove all fingerprints and use some other lock screen method, it works (after restarting though).
I want to submit this to Xiaomi or possible get help on this but I'm not sure if there's a way to contact and submit development related queries/bugs to Xiaomi (not general feedback).
Or is there anyone here that has faced this issue and knows a way to fix it? Let me know if you need code snippets.

Cardboard app does not accept QR code

Hello. I have a Destek v4 vr device. On first setup I installed cardboard app and scanned QR code provided in the destek manual. It was accepted without any problems.
Now I have problems with scanning the code again. And I don't know why few days ago I was in vr services app and changed device by mistake to standard cardboard. Since then cardboard does not accept QR code anymore. It constantly says it does not know the code.
I tried to make a new code but this was also not accepted.
I hope someone can help me with this.
Edit: problem solved. Installed another qr code reader. Then scanned the code and opened result with cardboard app. Done

Ewallet QR code cannot be scanned by reader

I'm from Malaysia. During payment, merchant will scan my phone's ewallet QR code but failed. Tried in different shops, same issue. So i remove the screen protector which came with the phone, still having the same issue.
Do u guys face any issue when someone try to scan QR codes on your screen using barcode scanner?

I only use TNG at ecoshop and tesco.i don't have boost or grabpay. I reinstalled tng and try again
@cbw, which rom are you running now?
@jyaki2 I am using the Global ROM 12.0.4.0(QJFMIXM), debloated with XiaomiADBFastbootTools.
Every time I use TNG ewallet, the payment is always successful, but once you open the QR code for payment in TNG ewallet, you need to pay within 60 seconds, or you will need to start again, you also need to make sure you have Internet connection when you open it.
To test the phone's display, you can try these steps.
1. Use an online QR generator, for example, https://www.the-qrcode-generator.com/ to generate a QR code with some text and display it on your M3.
2. Use another phone or laptop to scan this QR code, using the above website or a QR scanner app, to see if you can get the original text.
If it does not work, you can try to adjust (increase) the phone's brightness, or try to move the phone closer or further to the camera.
