I'm from Malaysia. During payment, merchant will scan my phone's ewallet QR code but failed. Tried in different shops, same issue. So i remove the screen protector which came with the phone, still having the same issue.
Do u guys face any issue when someone try to scan QR codes on your screen using barcode scanner?

I only use TNG at ecoshop and tesco.i don't have boost or grabpay. I reinstalled tng and try again

@cbw, which rom are you running now?

@jyaki2 I am using the Global ROM 12.0.4.0(QJFMIXM), debloated with XiaomiADBFastbootTools.
Every time I use TNG ewallet, the payment is always successful, but once you open the QR code for payment in TNG ewallet, you need to pay within 60 seconds, or you will need to start again, you also need to make sure you have Internet connection when you open it.
To test the phone's display, you can try these steps.
1. Use an online QR generator, for example, https://www.the-qrcode-generator.com/ to generate a QR code with some text and display it on your M3.
2. Use another phone or laptop to scan this QR code, using the above website or a QR scanner app, to see if you can get the original text.
If it does not work, you can try to adjust (increase) the phone's brightness, or try to move the phone closer or further to the camera.

Barcode Scanner not working properly with QR - ZXing Team App

So I think the best and by far the most popular barcode scanner is made by XZing Team and called "Barcode Scanner"
It does a beautiful job. Scans everything and no other program is nearly as complete.
When I make a calender event QR code, the times are off when I scan it. The QR code can be made for any timezone or no timezone (GMT 0) and the hours are always a few hrs off. When no timezone, the hours are just retarded.
I'm using the XZing online barcode generator: http://zxing.appspot.com/generator/
For any app on the iPhone to read it properly, the QR code must be made in no timezone (GMT 0).
I also notice that there is not a single decent QR code reading app for the iPhone. Even with its bajillion app glory, they all suck. Why doesn't XZing Team make their app for the iPhone? (same deal with bberry, and I don't know about WebOS)

[FREE APP] Lends Manager

Hi all,
i just release the Free version of my app called "Lends Manager (Free)".
Here a short description:
Never forget the products you lended!!!
This application allows you to manage your products library (Movies, Pc & Console Games, Books,...) and to lend to a person in your contacts list, keeping trace of all active lends.
A Barcode reader (using your device's camera) can be used to insert and in future research of your products. If you add a product using the barcode reader, the application tries to find the product name automatically on internet (if an internet connection is active).
The lend and return process can be done using the barcode reader too, to simplify the product research in the library.
The free version allows you to manage 10 products
Let me know what do you think about it
The video review has a terrible video quality and has an amaturish feel, I would go without it.
I haven't tried the actual app though.

What the balls is Beaming Service?

According to google, it allows the phone to display coupon codes...
How is that different to any other app that shows bardcodes?
Im really struggling to work out why it needs a dedicated service.
Thanks for any ideas.

Hey buddy,
its a service for NFC to swap data.
Some stores use a more modern scanner which sometimes might not work with a plain barcode on phone. The beaming service makes it compatible to scan barcodes on phone.
Marvin_1003 - No, that's something different. Barcodes have nothing to do with NFC.
Jsorren - What though? Barcodes are literally black and white pixels. There's nothing more to it. I can make a barcode in paint and it'd still scan.

Cardboard app does not accept QR code

Hello. I have a Destek v4 vr device. On first setup I installed cardboard app and scanned QR code provided in the destek manual. It was accepted without any problems.
Now I have problems with scanning the code again. And I don't know why few days ago I was in vr services app and changed device by mistake to standard cardboard. Since then cardboard does not accept QR code anymore. It constantly says it does not know the code.
I tried to make a new code but this was also not accepted.
I hope someone can help me with this.
Edit: problem solved. Installed another qr code reader. Then scanned the code and opened result with cardboard app. Done

Question In built QR code scanner

Today i noticed that the inbuilt QR code scanner just gives black screen and seems its not having camera access. Anyone knows what's the application name for it so that I can grant camera permission to it? Or any other way to fix it? I am running 1.5.4 on Nothing phone 1
same issue..
Try give Google play services access to caméra ?
