[GUIDE] [X606X/F/V(A)] [Lenovo M10 FHD PLUS] How to get rid of the Orange State message - Thinkpad Tablet General

Whenever we unlock a mtk device to flash root, custom rom, gsi etc, the device will show the Orange State message.
This is how to get rid of it.
It works on Linux.
1) Download the rom which is currently installed on your X606X/F/V (check in "about device") or which was installed before you installed the custom rom or gsi HERE
2) Extract into a folder and rename Checksum.ini and xauth_sv5.auth to something else.
3) Copy lk-verified.img to lk-patched.img
4) Hex-edit lk-patched.img (I used GHex)
-search for Orange
-replace, starting at the O of Orange and ending on the last s of seconds, in the hex part everything by 00 (zero zero)
-save the patched file
(I attach the lk-patched.img I already did for TB-X606X_S300673_220613_BMP)
5) Download SLA & DAA authentication bypass tool HERE
6) Extract into a folder
7) Open a terminal in that folder
-chmod +x bypass
-./bypass
8) When you get the prompt choose your distro (mine is Manjaro, so I chose Arch)
-the script will download various packages and files
9) When prompted connect your switched off tablet
10) The script will launch SP Flashtool
-choose Scatter-loading file: go to the folder of the rom you unpacked and choose the MT676x_Android_scatter.txt
-untick the x next to 'Name', all will be unselected
-on the far right of lk, double click on the file name (.../lk-verified.img) and select lk-patched.img
-do the same for lk2
-now only lk and lk2 will have a x tick in front
-unplug the cable from your phone
-click Download
-plug the cable back into your phone
11) Succes!
-reboot your phone and enjoy no Orange State message.
Acknowledgment: Thanks to romprovider.com for the SLA & DAA authentication bypass tool

Huwawei Glory/Honor 3C ( H30-U10 ) Resolve Brick or Boot Loop

Hi ,
I soft bricked my huawei honor 3c and have successfully resolved the issue . My phone was in boot loop and i could not Unbrick it with SDCRAD firmware auto update . So i had to flash the original signed recovery (link below) and then i could auto update from the SDCARD . The complete tutorial and links to files used is in the following link.
https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=3237141&st=1260&p=68534687&#entry68534687
I thought ill post it to help others having the same problem and also the additional steps that i performed.
You have to have the Service drivers and SP Flash tool version available on the above link.
Troubleshooting
if your phone is not detecting drivers and is in a loop of vibrating after every few seconds , then remove the battery , connect it to the computer and immediately put the battery back. If its still not working , then probably you need to remove and reinstall the drivers.
Disclaimer
I did not write the guide available at the above link , I only share the above resources and will not be responsible for any consequences with your phone and yourself for using the files and information above. Flash at your own risk and I cannot guarantee your success.
How do i use sp flash to unbrick. pls help me.

Update Pixel Experience GSI ROM on Samsung S20 Series

Hello everyone !! I am currently using the Pixel Experience ROM as my daily driver and I came across the task of updating the ROM without losing any of my data. The ROM has an updater in the settings and allows you to install OTA updates, but for me that has not worked. Whenever I try to install OTA updates and I reboot my updated phone, it gets stuck on the boot logo. I came across a solution to this which is to manually flash the updated GSI ROM without wiping any of your data beforehand. I decided to make a YouTube tutorial on how to do that. If you have any questions please din't hesitate to ask !! I'll be happy to help !!
