Can't seem to replace Samsung Pass with Google - Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra Guides, News, & Discu

Hello, I'm new to this but I've been trying to figure out how to add Google Autofill under general settings >Lang and input. I searched around and changed default browser to chrome and I still only see Samsung Pass I can show a screen show if needed. Hopefully someone has a solution to this problem.
Thanks in advance

When I go to autofill service under language and input, Google is already there as an option

I had to turn it on under settings > privacy > Autofill service from google, under advanced. Once that was turned on I could change to it under the input > Autofill options.

Favorites group issue

On my new DHD I have a list of people that I've set as part of the Favorites group. The problem is that one of the people even after edit, and when I change the group to None, it still stays Favorites in his group list.
I can not remove the Favorites group from this contact no matter what I do, Favorites is always his group, although when I click on edit, it says None in the group list. Anyone with such issue? Any idea on how to fix this?
I've had this problem too.
Go into the start menu, open Contacts, go to the groups tab > favorites > menu > remove member.
I don't know if the translation is 100% accurate, my device is dutch.

Help me, i cannot send SMS

guys,
i urgently need your help on this..
i was looking around in the diagnosis mode code and i may change something while i was looking at the setting and now i cannot send SMS.
i have tried to change everything back to normal but i failed.
please help me, how can i restore all diagnosis mode setting to the default setting or which setting i must change to get my SMS work again..
It's a bit of an obvious answer, but if you can't get it to work again, perhaps a hard reset would do the trick

Why don't you try going to the Settings > Applications (Swipe left) > messaging
Check the SMS center. This is not a device settings, it is stored on the SIM card and maybe it is removed

Hi, I got similar issue. did you manage to fix your phone's SMS issue?
Sent from my OMNIA7 using Board Express
Perhaps this would help, go to main menu in diagnostic, choose common (6), and then factory test (7) and go to sellout sms (7) and turn on sms enable (1) and restart your phone

[Q] Keyboard autocorrection

So I never had a problem with typing email addresses into sign on fields in chrome, but now the damn thing auto corrects and messes it all up. It even removes the @ sign. Some settings may have been changed but nothing I can see? Anyone experienced this. It's upgraded to KitKat but was working fine after that. Just now I have noticed it. It's completely stock. Thanks
You could go to Settings > Language and Input > Google Keyboard Options > Personal Dictionary and add your email address to that. Then they should be offered as an autocorrect option.
I really recommend SwiftKey. It's pretty cheap, easier to type on, and has always done a great job with inputting my email addresses.

Google "Android device manager" and log in using the same Google account you had your phone running. You can locate it and remotely erase it if you had the feature enabled in your phone
You can try this:
Option 1 - go to 'findmymobile. samsung. com'
log with your Samsung Account and you can track/lock your phone.
Option 2 - Go to 'android. com / devicemanager'
log with your Google account and you can do the same.
PS: On samsung, you can remotely set a message and add a phone number on Lockscreen. In both option you can track your phone. I reccomend to you try this two options

[HELP NEEDED] Messaging Apps (WhatsApp, Telegram) not working outside of Wi-Fi Range

Hey guys, so I'm totally new to this forum and have not had any experience regarding flashing/rooting/etc., so please let me know if you need any more infos. Thankful for any help you can provide
A friend of mine has recently "upgraded" my Galaxy S3 Neo (GT-I9301I) with Cyanogenmod 12.1 (12.1-20151007-UNOFFICIAL-s3ve3g) and (after having fixed the annoying camera-issue that seems to arise quite often), we have come across one major problem we cannot seem to fix:
WhatsApp and Telegram can NOT send or receive any messages if you are outside of WiFi-range. Within WiFi-range they work fine, no problems whatsoever. But as soon as you go outside and have to rely purely on network access, they just don't do what they are supposed to do. However, all other apps requiring internet-connection work perfectly fine outside of WiFi range (e.g. Google Chrome, GMail, Traffic Information services etc.), so there MUST be network-access.
Here is what we tried in order to fix it (without any success):
- DroidWall: We checked and unchecked and checked both boxes again (always applying the rules), so now the apps should have full access in and out of WiFi-range.
- We uninstalled and reinstalled both apps.
- We went into the App settings and checked if everything was set to "Allowed" instead of "Ignored" or "Always Ask".
- We went into the in-app "Settings-menu" of each app, in order to find any option that might restrict access - we did not find any.
- Simple things like restarting the phone, clearing app-caches, resetting the network-provider etc. did not work either.
So here I am, hoping that some pros among you have an idea how to proceed Thanks a lot in advance!!

Whatsapp needs an internet connection, ofc it want work because you have not an internet connection, if you are out of the wifi range than turn mobile data, be careful it will cost you some money
edit: maybe you dont have good signal
Try to reflash the rom, and check again. Also check if restricted background data is enabled (globally or specifically in these apps): Settings > Data Usage. Click on these apps and check the toggle is switched off and try to switch it on and off again. Also check in the main Data Usage page, clicking the 3 doted menu on the top right to be written "Restrict background data" and not "Allow background data"
Check your APN settings. Maybe a WAP-APN is selected by default. These APNs block Data on some ports. I had the same problem on my device after flashing CM12.1, the default value was wap.vodafone.de instead of web.vodafone.de
