[Q] Cannot write in to SD card (GN3 SM-N900 Kitkat 4.4.2)

I live in Thailand.
Galaxy Note3 (SM-N900) was updated to Kitkat4.4.2 yesterday.
When updating, it became impossible to write in a micro SD card.
New holder addition, file copy & paste, delete, and an application backup etc. cannot be performed.
Both are not made although checked by ES file manager and the ASTRO file manager.
But the photo taken with the standard camera can be saved on SD card.
Was the permission method to SD card changed?
Doesn't someone know the solution?

There is quite a few threads about this as it has been discussed at length, most of which also provide a fix.
This worked for me

I also live in Thailand, use an N900 and updated with the Thai 4.4.2 and had this same problem. I followed the instructions on this page
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2617921

NOTE: your phone must be rooted!

Using external SD as internal isn't worth it, you'll have issues, it will eventually burn out the sdcard and then the device won't boot and you'll have to recover the device.
It's best to just use your internal space responsibly.
marshmallow and the inbuilt apps are using the whole internal storage.....so please suggest any method to adopt sd card as internal
i have tried the method of adb commands just like for galaxy s7 but it did'nt work.

You can try using the Root Essentials App, it has a feature that works on devices with marshmallow to enable adoptive storage.

After a year looking for here is the method (solution):
First of all, I do not speak English, I'm from Brazil.
(E para quem for do Brasil role a página mas abaixo que deixarei o método em português :good: ).
I have a galaxy on7 and was also looking for a long time how to turn SD card into internal memory because it has only 8GB of storage.
When I had given up looking, yesterday apereceu the following message: "new SD card detected, set up now.":confuso:
Dai appeared when pressed format as the internal memory or format as portable storage.
Pictures to prove I could.
I could not put the images
Now as I did this I do not know, because I had already done everything ...
I do not remember which method that worked.
But I will teach you what I think it worked was the last I did.
:fingers-crossed: :good:

Tente em portugues
Apparently your knowledge is helpfull... unfortunately your english is not
Try to repeat your answer in portuguese. I know very little, but a little spanish and italian, and will try to translate. Other people may help out.
I could adopt my SD card with a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 with Marshmallow (the last Note with SD card which did NOT explode) with the following procedure:
* download and install Android usb debug bridge on a Windows 10 laptop
* Connect Phone to USB, select browse files, wait for drivers to install (several minutes)
* Disconnect Phone
* Start Command Prompt at Windows
* Connnect Phone; select "USB charging"
* type in Command Prompt: "adb shell", Return
* type in Command Prompt: "sm list-disks", Return. Note the disk listed, for me: "disk: 194,128"
* type "sm partition disk:xxx,x private"
* disconnect phone, restart phone
* At the phonbe: "Settings > Storage > SD card > more > format as internal storage" ... Ok ... Ok ... Ok. This step seems to be omitted in most description on the web.
* "Settings > Storage > SD card > migrate data" (or similar, I have forgotten)
* restart Phone
... works for me, despite not always shown properly in the "storage" info. However, it seems to be used as cache for offline Dropbox files, and also accessible by non-root file managers.
Upda
Thank you! for file.

Thanks a lot for the help.
I do not write English very well, but I'm using the google translator for this.
I was able to use the sd card as internal memory with the Adoptable_storage_enabler_ashyx available here.
For this I used the program TWRP.
Thank you!
Patch of @ashyx and Root Essentials only show option to use adopt sd card as internal but internal storage does not increase on Samsung ON 7.

I was using XInternal perfectly on my Samsung Galaxy J3 2016 until the last weekend, when I did the update for the Smart Switch.
Since then it does not work anymore, the games on the memory card work, masa the downloads by Chrome and Whatsapp do not work anymore.
Can someone help me please?
Check if your sd card is selected as your default write disk memory. Select it if it's not. Worked in my case!
