Navigation Bar hidden - OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren Questions & Answers

I swear it was at the bottom earlier, but after attempting to update ( I am rooted), it doesn't show at the bottom as before. I have to swipe up to show them. The settings only change it from on or guestures.

Somehow, I was able to get it back. Not posting the setting, as I am not sure what fixed it.
Now if I could get a date and not just the time on the status bar.

[Q] dashed

I've updated to 3.1 recently and I notice on the bottom right of the screen to the left of the time there is a dash, I'm sure this mark wasnt there before, what's it meant to represent LOL
Not there on mine. Do you have anything in the notification area?
I do not. Maybe it is a separator of some sort if you have notifications.
I've found that when I disabled Notifications (in that settings pane after you've tapped the clock) it causes the dash icon to appear.
If you tap the dash, it should tell you what it is - at least that's what I get
Possibly post a screenshot from your device to show us the icon

bar on top disapeared

Hello
The bar on the top of the screen disapeared...how can i enable it?
That's going to depend on how you disabled it, you should probably do the opposite to what you did.
I dont remember how i done it
Well two things to check are:
Menu>Settings>Cyanogen Settings>Tablet Tweaks>Bottom status bar. Should be unchecked.
This moves the status bar from the top to the bottom (I know it says tablets but it can impact the phone too if used).
Or try Menu>Settings>ADW Settings>Screen Preferences>Hide StatusBar. Should be unchecked.
It toggles hiding the status bar.

[Q] There are no icons in my status bar.

There are no icons in my status bar except some at the top right which I can't press. It's blank. Anyone have any idea why this is happening and what I can do to fix it?
I'm running Paranoid Android 4.6BETA6 on OnePlus One. Also the home button doesn't work (has feedback but does bring it to the home screen)
Thanks in advance.
EDIT: I took a screenshot of the status bar (running Onyx theme to see if that fixed it, it didn't).
EDIT 2: Well, it has notifications through the pick up setting, but still not in the status bar. Also the lock screen won't trigger unless I restart my phone.
EDIT 3: Ahh, a factory reset fixed it, sorry for the question (and the very obvious answer), I just didn't want to lose my data.

Location icon missing on status bar

Hi there...
Before to ask I must said that I have done a huge research and check every post mentioning status bar issues, I even look through the Home screens post and similar post where members where showing their home screens to check if I could see the location icon in any status bar.
I have a S7 edge with HydraRom 1.4, Xposed is installed and the Flat Style Bar Indicator mod is there too working wonderfully but, I can't get to manage to see the Location icon on the status bar when I activate it and I have try all.
I only use Location active when I go out in night time to do Astro Photography, together with some apps helps me to do the polar alignment of my tracking mounts. I want to see the icon on the status bar to be sure it is active without the need to unlock the phone and drag the status bar down to check, I am starting to be afraid it is not possible like the sync icon which is not showing neither but, that one is not bothering much.
Any help will be appreciated!!

Hide Navigation bar option broken in May Security update

I got the security update G950FXXU4DSDA (dated to 2019-04-01) a couple of days ago.
After the update I can no longer hide the navigation bar.
I've got a new button in the status bar called "Navigation bar" but it's greyed out and can't be used.
I used to have my navigation bar hidden and just swipe up from bottom of the screen to navigate. But that's not possible anymore.
I've searched frenetically for a solution or an answer, but can't find anything.
Reported it to Samsung yesterday.
Is this a known bug or did my phone just screw up after the update?
I'm thinking of factory reset my phone if that would help, but that's the last thing I want to do.
