Mi mix 3 5G unlocking, TWRP and ROM - Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 5g Questions & Answers

Hello
I have bought a very cheap mi mix 3 5G and I have some questions about Unlocking and TWRP and Roms.
the first thing is after unlocking, and flashing twrp, magisk, what does disabe force encryption file?
If i flash Miui it will relock the bootloader automaticaly ar it will stay unlocked?
Since I had a mi4c, I used to flash roms "cooked" from mi-globe.com. Did anyone has used their roms? I have seen that their roms are a little bit older for mi mix 3 5G.
10.3.17.0 while the phone can update to 10.3.23.0
I have PEMEUVF, theirs is PEMCNXM, and I have found some with PEMEUXM, what is the diference from china, global and european rom?
I like to use mi-globe roms since you can make therom without xiaomi bloatware, wallpapers, apps. If I install a normal rom from xiaomi, can I delete their bloatware with a rooted system app disabler? I want to get rid of some google bloatware as well, like chrome, drive, duo, facebook, and all that crap that come preinstalled with the phone.
can I install dolby and stereo speaker mod in the same time?

Ok so here is what i know, miui automatically replaces twrp with its own custom recovery, dfe prevents that so that twrp remains( might be wrong about this), the bootloader will never lock itself, the miui.eu rom is the same as global minus some bloat i guess but beware, it only has widevine l3 so no fullhd netflix, now if you use a normal rom you can use adb to remove most bloatware that came preinstalled, if you want to install some roms you should join the mi mix 3 5g telegram group, we have wip pe and lineage roms. https://t.me/mimix3_5G

After Xiaomi unlocked the phone, I have flashed twrp, magisk and flashed latest PEMEUXM
Everything works fine.
I wished for 2020 security update. This one is from 2019.08.01
And the stereo mi mix 3 mod does't work for me.

You have January 2020 update available for MIUI Global Stable. 10.3.21

As you can see, even that I'm on the global10.3.23.0, security update is still in 2019. Maybe it is a wrong rom.
When I have bought the phone it was with 10.3.21.0 and wanted update to 10.3.23.0.

can't install EU rom

I bought a second hand mi6 ceramic. Looks perfect. I think it’s a china phone. I have experience with unlocking and flashing Xiaomi phones but run into trouble with this phone. I unlocked the bootloader, installed TWRP. I tried to install the EU rom. But everytime I do that it hangs at first startup. I Installed a newer version than that was on the phone (10.2) . I installed both teh stable and weekly, both the same. With the Xiaomiflashtool I went back to its first state (both global and china rom). I don’t understand what I am doin wrong. Someone an idea? Thanks in advance.

I have this issue in December 2017 and from this time i'm on global stable. If this not be fixed to nowadays, probably never will be fixed. My phone it was brand new from gearbest which rather exclude any hw problem.

thanks all. i have kept trying with different version of twrp but indeed nothing works. I give it up now.
install TWRP
Wipe all data (includes storage)
Copy rom zip to phone and install
or sideload install
I have exactly the same issue, I'm trying to change rom due to main microphone issue on Global stable, someone have any suggestion?
I notice that some rom need a specific miui firmware preinstalled before flash the new rom (like lineage OS), I think that the system partition have a certain influence, maybe flash eu rom over global stable is wrong, some one have try flash over developer or weekly?

Just bought a seller refurbished Xiaomi Redmi 2 ROM advice?

I'm pretty new to Android. Just bought a seller refurbished Xiaomi Redmi 2 (HM 2LTE-CMCC) 2GB 16GB 2014CP6123 from ebay. Has MUI 7.0 4.4.4 ktu84p. Should I factory reset (to get rid of any Chinese viruses/spyware etc.) and then flash EU Rom or global? I don't want to root it as I want to use banking apps etc. but would like the latest possible Android version which I read is nougat, is installing a custom Rom different to EU/Global Rom? Would a custom Rom affect the apps available on the play store? (I rooted an android tablet and couldn't use banking apps etc.)
Hoping someone could give me step-by-step general advice and best Roms etc/tutorials links? Also the video recording stated it would be 1080p but is a little fuzzy, it's turned itself off once or twice from sleep mode despite being almost fully charged and the battery seems to quite quickly. Do I need to buy a new battery?
Seems your phone is Redmi 2 Enhanced (HM2014813) which is China only version. i'm sorry to tell you that this version has no official global rom (China rom only available), no custom rom, and mostly no much help about this device. I think the used Leadcore CPU is the main problem.
Flashing miui rom using fastboot method is recommended to get rid of some bloatware. Please note you will still get some xiaomi chinese apps after flashing due to your phone variant.

Current situation of SafetyNet

Hi there, I have an international Mi A1 that has never been modded (stock Aug. 2020 upd.).
I'm interested to switch to a custom rom, but after reading some articles about the strengthening of SafetyNet (hardware fingerprint?) I desisted.
So before I go into this operation I'd like to know if there are any problems with banking apps (that I need) and other apps that uses those APIs. I'm not interested in root permissions, so if I had to give them up in order to be sure to bypass SafetyNet, it would be fine with me.
Uh, another stupid question (sorry!), could I lock the bootloader again once the custom rom is installed (I know that SafetyNet check this, correct me if I am wrong)?
Thank you all for your attention!
Up
You can flash any android 10 rom for mia1 and safteynet shouldn't be a concern, rooting is not necessary in order to use custom roms. I myself only use custom roms for the latest android version and features without the need of rooting.
Sent from my Mi A1 using Tapatalk
i'm using Lineage OS 17 official from 7-8 months and its also rooted with Magisk and Safetynet check always passed. i use Upi apps and Netflix app but didn't face any problem
You should never ever lock bootloader after installing custom roms, it will send the device into bootloop.

👀Information about the non-certified MIUI rom play store

For a few days now, the play store has appeared as uncertified on the Xiaomi Eu rom, One OS, Elite rom when it was before.
After installing earlier versions of these roms, it doesn't change anything.
Also installed the latest stock Xiaomi rom, same.
Installed the latest stock Xiaomi rom by relocking the bootloader, same.
We can therefore conclude that the problem comes from Google.
Edit:9/16
Also try with android 10 roms: Stock V12.0.4.0.QJKMIX and EU rom V11.0.19.0.QJKCNXM_v11-10=CTS FAIL
but netflix and Disney+ are on Playstore .
it seems that it is back to normal.

It was a problem that came from google.
You can try to log out of the google account then erase all the data from the playstore and restart.
Or try a global rom.
dont work i flashed xiaomi.eu playstore is certificated lol unoffcial rom work wtf i hope work again on official rom thanks you

[Solved] Most Stable rom for Mi A1 Tissot and some other relevant questions.

Hi,
Its been a long time since I last rommed any phone. Last Was my beloved 'Bacon' (Oneplus One) which I rommed till it died.
I am trying to install a custom rom on my wife's Mi A1. Have a few questions.
Which is the most stable rom (Android 11 preferred but if android 11 isn't stable then android 10 will do). Trying to replace the boring stock rom with some much needed features. but don't need a super tweaked up rom. Stability is most important. : edit: installed lineage 18.1.
Can I directly flash TWRP 3.6.0_9-0-tissot over stock? As with Bacon, I needed to flash One recovery then another to get a version jump. like I cant directly flash twrp 3.x over stock. I needed to flash TWRP 2.xy and then 3.0. (example, not real version numbers.)
I don't need root. But I do need the device to pass SafetyNet as I need it to operate apps like Gpay (which does not work if device fails SafetyNet).
Can I re lock the bootloader after flashing TWRP? Would it help with SafetyNet situation?
OpenGapps still good?

1. There are plenty of stable roms, you can look at Xiaomi Mi A1 ROMs section to check them.
2. You can directly flash TWRP on stock rom.
3. ?
4. No
5. I use roms with pre-installed GApps for stablity.
