Bootloader Unlock - Samsung Galaxy M30s Questions & Answers

If the Bootloader is unlocked, will the Samsung guaranty get void? Also with the unlocked Bootloader, will the Bank Apps like Google Pay,Yono,Digilocker etc will work?

BUT theoretically in Europe ( according to EU regulations ) you may modify software of your device not loosing warranty. Tricky thing would be forcing Samsung to execute the repair.

Android Pay + Unlocked Bootloader (no root)

So I enjoy using Android Pay and don't want to lock myself out. Because of this I never rooted and I seem to be able to live with it. However I just got a replacement device (broke my screen) so before loading it all up again I'm considering unlocking the bootloader just in case I change my mind in the future (and don't want to wipe again).
If I unlock my bootloader but keep everything else stock, will this affect my ability to use Android Pay?
No it will not affect Android Pay.
unlocked bootloader has no effect on android pay, it will work fine.

Huawei Nova "rollback" to standard Rom / unroot

Hi guys,
I'm thinking about rooting my Nova. But I'm new to the Huawei brand. (used HTC before)
I know, if I would root it, my warranty would be lost.
Is it possible to root it, flash TWRP and unroot also delete TWRP it if there appears hardware defects and I have to send it back to the factory? Will they know (like a flash counter in Samsung)?
Thanks in advance.
Well, if you flash full update.app it will wipe all and relock bootloader. So, no root and bootloader locked. There is no counter. This does depend on what kind of hardware defect of course, some types may prevent you from flashing the update.app. I am not really sure how strict Huawei is about denying warranty on modified devices. My friend took his (huawei but not nova) into a service center because his screen suddenly died. It was rooted, bootloader unlocked, etc. They did not bother checking all that, just confirmed screen was not working and replaced it for free. This was in China though, and here rules are often seen as suggestions, so results probably vary by location
in the read me of when installing nougat,it says that we can roll back to the previous version (mm)...thing is,in settings/fastboot,its not mentioned/available anywhere ,,,i mean the option to roll back
the text is also available in firmware finder under whats new (for the selected firmware)...

Relocking bootloader

Hello,
I unlocked my bootloader with an unlock code obtain from Huawei.
I want to relock it now to install ota updates and rid myself of the boot warning screen.
Huawei no longer provide the codes and I can find mine. I've contacted them but they say the cannot provide it.
Is there any other way to relock it?
Thanks.
Reinstall with service ROM. It makes it "locked", instead of "relocked" and it doesn't matter if the phone is unlocked or not.
Thanks,
Service rom? Is that an official rom?
It's OK I found it. Didn't really want to wipe everything but need must I suppose.
Thanks.
You can obtain unlock code via HCU Client or DC Unlocker but this is a PAID service (3-4 EURO).
If you want to relock the phone just install Service ROMs and your phone will be as a factory new ;p

Moto G6 Plus on Pie. Re-Lock bootloader and reclaim the warranty. Possible?

Here is the problem:
I tried re-lock the bootloader with flashing the newest Pie stock firmware(reteu PPW29.116-20) after unlocking on the same firmware. But i had the message "This device has loaded a different operating system", and "Verity mode disabled" during the boot. And the worst thing is the message "System integrity compromized" and hens - GooglePay service disabled and no software updates. I've tried all the tricks, but still no success.
Wanna sell the device, so it should be clear from any customizations...
So, the quistion, is it possible to re-lock the bootloader and reclaim the warranty on Android 9 Pie? Or, it's officially inpossible?
I think You have to pay if You send your phone in assistance cause your warranty Is void if You unlock bootloader.if You don't want You can update mannually by fastboot.if You download Lenovo smart assistant You can update manually your phone with official firmware fastboot without problems.

hope, it will be possible to turn the phone back in 'locked state' at authorised servise. i'm desperately ready to pay for this option..
Had same problem with system integrity after pie update. Fixed it by flashing Magisk. Now I'm able to receive updates and use Google Pay.

SC-02J (Japanese Docomo S8) latest (stock) firmware request

Late last year i was desperate to get my phone unlocked for an overseas trip (Docomo had changed their unlock policy), and so I paid an online service to unlock it. To avoid having to send my phone to a stranger, he said he had to RDP into my PC to run the unlocking commands. No problems, i had a freshly formatted PC that had no private data on it so i let him in. He installed a blackscreen driver so i couldnt see what he was doing but the phone was rebooting several times, loading software via ADB etc. In the end the phone was unlocked and knox wasnt tripped, i can still use NFC payments etc. Its probably got a few backdoor apps in it and i am aware of how stupid that was.
But, since then i have random radio crashes "Unknow error", and more importantly, the phone WONT update, it just always says "You have the latest version" even though there are several updates since then. I contacted the guy and he said "just update your software", but didnt offer anymore than that. I assume he flashed a custom radio firmware onto it, and its blocking the updates somehow.
So, i want to flash the latest update onto it via Odin. I do NOT want to root the phone, i do not want an overseas firmware, i want the stock Japanese SC-02J firmware, which supports the TV tuner, and Felica functions that arent in the overseas models.
Does anyone have software build PPR1.180610.011.SC02JOMU1CSF4 for me to flash onto it?
