S10 plus HDR10+ - Samsung Galaxy S10+ Questions & Answers

i am facing issue with hdr10+ recording with rear camera.
i selected hdr10+ option in camera settings with low resolution but when i tried to make video with hdr10+ with rear camera there is no written hdr on on the s10 camera screen while when i make video with front cam it says HDR ON
on the camera screen.
can anybody help me how can i make hdr10+ video with rear camera?

I dont think HDR+ can be recorded in low res. I think it has to be the 4k or at least 1080p

s6 edge plus 4k video recording grainy indoors at night with lights on

Is it normal that my 4k video recording indoors at night with the lights on gives off very grainy noisey video?
I expected the 4k video quality to be excellent but i was disappointed how un crisp the video is. Is this normal for indoor at night recording?
My camera taking pictures wise is excellent but could there be a fault with the video recording aspect despite the camera taking good photos? Is there a hardware issue i need to change if the phone takes good images but bad video?

4K - UHD - Stock Camera Cropping

Just made an interesting discovery regarding the Mi Max stock camera and 4K. I was running some tests on the stock camera vs 3rd party to check output quality, HDR speed, etc. when I noticed the stock MIUI camera app severely crops the sensor area when shooting 4K(UHD). I often use Cinema FV5 to get little more control over video when shooting on Android and found that although the MIUI camera app crops the sensor when switching to 4K vs 1080p, CFV5 does not. Nor does the Google camera app when set to 4K, you still get the same wide FOV as 1080p.
I haven't seen anything written about this so far so just wanted to flag this up as a decent workaround.
(see the attached screenshots, sorry about the clutter, shot in the studio )

How to record hand-held 4k videos?

My main problem with the camera are hand-held 4k videos that would require some shake reduction.
I understand that the latest US ROM may have better shake reduction: Camera
Camera image processing algorithm enhancement, like anti-shaking, HDR etc.
How do you record hand-held 4k videos? Do you use a third-party camera app with shake reduction?
Thanks.
The stock camera app seems to work and handle shake reduction pretty well.

OG Pixel VS Pixel 2 Video Camera Test. Front, Rear, and Audio capabilities

Quick test of the original Google Pixel VS the new Pixel 2.
Testing both front and rear cameras for video quality, stabilization, and audio from the internal mics.
1080p 30fps for the front camera upresed to 4k for this video.
4k 30fps with stabilization on for the rear.
Same settings for both devices.
Let me know which you think is better and why.
If you’re thinking about the iPhone X and Pixel 2, I have both and the Note 8. Here’s a camera comparison at low light, plus views on portraits from both. This is not a video. It’s an article with the full resolution photos uploaded into it.

Long and short. The Pixel 2 Camera kills the iPhone X in this scenario. But do you agree with me?
