From HTC U11+ forum. But same for U11:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=76438938&postcount=59
Just remember that the links are for u11+ and mid is different for u11 & u11+(so ruu name too)
But MID is same in wwe and tw region

1) Download all the relevant files. You'll need:-
a) RUU
b) Hex Editor (I used HxD from https://mh-nexus.de/en/hxd/
c) TWRP flashed
2) Unlock your bootloader by going to https://www.htcdev.com/bootloader/
3) Boot into download mode, connect your phone via USB and run (just for reference):-
fastboot getvar cid
4) Install TWRP by running:-
fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
5) Boot into TWRP recovery
6) Select Advanced -> Terminal and enter:-
dd if=/dev/block/sdf1 of=/sdcard/sdf1.img
7) On your PC run:-
adb pull /sdcard/sdf1.img
a- ( recommend back up at original sdf1 file on PC)
8) Open the image in HxD and locate HTC__621. Replace with HTC__001. Save the updated disk image ( or ever cid you want)
9) On you PC run:-
adb push sdf1.img /sdcard
10) Back in TWRP run:-
dd if=/sdcard/sdf1.img of=/dev/block/sdf1
11) Boot into download mode and verify your updated CID by running:-
fastboot getvar cid
12) Prepare an SD card with the RUU in the root of the card, renamed as 2PZCIMG.zip
13) Power off phone & insert SD card. Boot back into Fastboot.
14) You should be prompted to install the RUU. Use volume and power to start the process. This will take a long time.
15) Phone should then boot up in WWE mode.
16) At this point you can relock your bootloader by booting back into download mode and entering:-
fastboot oem lock
Note : of course you need to change version main by https://drive.google.com/open?id=1ubjDGNqCfIply-aRN8C7IQNb-YVkD4M7 for flash ruu

Problem with my X5 u8800-51 -> reboot looping

Hi people, I have a problem with my phone, I tried to flash it with MIUI 1.12.16 and it seems that something doesn't works because my X5 is rebooting all the time. I follow this tutorial in spanish (http://www.mobilecloseup.com/foro/showthread.php?t=949447) but I will translate it here:
1. First of all download this *.rar http://www.wupload.com/file/2650874587/U8800-51_a_Gingerbread-MIUI.rar which contains 5 folders: dload, MIUI 1.12.16 Multi lenguaje (multilanguage), Recovery Alternativo (CWM 5.0.2.7) [or alternative Recovery], Recovery Original (2.2) and Root para Gingerbread.
2. Format SD card and backup everything.
3. Copy to SD card the "dload" folder and the MIUI zip file which is into the "MIUI 1.12.16 Multi lenguaje" folder of *.rar.
4. Turn off the phone, then push at the same time the two buttons of volume and the on/off button to enter to bootloader mode (pink screen).
5. Inside the new disk unit opened in Windows, copy recovery.img file which is into "Recovery Original (2.2)" of the *.rar into the image folder, just in case if you change original recovery in replace of the clockworkmod one.
6. Extract safely disk unit, take off battery, put again into phone and turn on.
7. Then go to settings, SD & Storage and choose SD update, then accept everything and phone will flash the update to Gingerbread, will reboot during some time and after 5-10 minutos will reboot for the last time.
8. Now you have your phone with Gingerbread 2.3.5 stock, but the aim is to flash MIUI, so the next step is to go to Settings, then Applications and disable quick boot option.
(everything OK until this step... problems started since this point)
9. Erase dload folder from SD card and turn off the phone.
10. Push two volume buttons + on/off button at the same time again to enter to bootlander, then open image folder into the new disk unit and copy to a safe place the boot.img file to backup it, then copy the boot-room.img file which is into the "Root para Gingerbread" folder of *.rar to the image folder and rename it to boot.img, then extract device, take off battery, put again into phone and turn on as usual.
11. You will realize that your phone will be rooted. Now turn off again and do the same procedure but copying into image folder the boot.img file that you backed, also backup the recovery.img file which is into image folder and replace it with recovery.img file which is into "Recovery alternativo" folder of *.rar.
12. Reboot your phone and then turn it off, then push at the same time volume on button + on/off button to access recovery.
13. Just optional: You can backup ROM Stock in Backup option.
14. Choose Wipe Data & Factory Settings, then Mounts & Storage and select format /system.
15. Choose flash zip from sdcard and select from SD Card MIUI *.zip folder that you copied at the very first step.
16. Tap yes and MIUI will be flashed.
I attached some screenshots of what I have in my image folder from bootlander. This is the problem. As I said, my phone is rebooting all the time since I turned on and there is nothing that I can do I finished at the 16th step, please I need your help. If you need more info please ask here, I don't know if I can show you more details because I cannot turn on my phone.
Thanks in advance.

unbrick LG G2 Force Flash with Send_command.exe

Use it if you cannot flash with any flash tool (no root needed)
Note: Use this at your own risk! Use it as a last resort!
I'm not responsable for anything, this may not work with yours
Sorry for my poor english. I tested this method with MY bricked LG F320L, no root, no boot, no many partition pop up, partial
downloadMode (just download mode and can't see the USB logo nor S/W update) then can't flash with KDZ/TOT file, with adb mode
recovery when holding pwr and vol+ ( lucky ), with stock recovery but I have to write adb reboot recovery to get it
what you need (sorry, I'm too lazy to put a direct link, I found all of them in xda):
- Install driver for your device
- .kdz file of your model
- WindowsLGFirmwareExtract-1.2.5.0-Release
- Send_Command.exe and ports.bat (ports.bat is optional if you know the port where your device is plunged can be in LG_root.zip)
This methode needs that you can access to downloadmode or partial downloadmode like me (vol+ and plug USB cable)
1- Run WindowsLGFirmwareExtract
. browse your .kdz file with "Open" button
. click to "Extract KDZ" button and wait until finish
. browse the .dz file abd extract it with the appropriat button
. click to "Extract DZ" button and wait until finish
. select all system files and clic Merge system-bin (you will get system.img in another folder and you don't need all system****.bin)
. copy all files in same folder
2- change extension of all files .bin to .img and remove any numbers
example: aboot156.bin => aboot.img / 1-aboot.bin =>aboot.img
3- Push or copy all files to your device. You have to find also the laf.img of your device, sometime it's not in the KDZ file.
Maybe it's optional, but I'm not sure.
Remember the path, for this tuto I'm using adb and push all files to /data/local/tmp/
You can also copy all files with another method
4- Run Ports.bat
Double click ports.bat (This will give us the COM port in which our device is connected we are looking for the Diag port)
keep in mind the COM of \Device\LG*******DIAG*
5- Go to downloadMode
6- Run send_command.exe in command prompt
type: Send_Command.exe \\.\COM3 if COM3 is the port where your device is pluged
wait for #
flash all .img like this, replace NAME by the name of the file ex: aboot.img replace NAME by aboot
dd if=/data/local/tmp/{NAME}.img of=/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/{NAME}
ex: dd if=/data/local/tmp/aboot.img of=/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/aboot
Except for backupGPT.img, I don't know what is it. Maybe in this partition:
dd if=/data/local/tmp/backupGPT.img of=/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/gpt
personally , I have not flashed this one
If you have finished type: LEAVE
Flash completed
Thank you guy, your tuto saved my device

@santatralalaina
I'm in a similar situation like you. No download, fastboot or recovery and phone is not detected by Windows. As u said PARTIAL Download mode only. I'm not very good with adb also. Could you please guide me about force pushing of the .img files please! Where can I get send command.exe and ports.bat? Could you please attach some screen shot of Step:6. Renaming the file and command is bit confusing for me.

Firstly: What is your phone model?
Secondly: What happen when you plug your phone to your PC?
Finaly: What you have did to try unbricking you phone?

Hi..thanks for the reply....My phone is G2 F320L..Korean version with removable battery and SD card....I tried to install a non compatible ROM..got bricked with only fastboot...Then I try to flash aboot.bin..boot.bin..laf.bin..etc files (which I have extracted from the kdz) through fastboot...during flashing my phone was disconnecting and connecting back again...thats where all the problem started I guess. Now I dont have fastboot also. If i connect my phone to PC.. LG logo comes on the phone screen...on PC it try to detect as LGE android MTP devices and try to install the driver of the same. But the driver installation fails eventually.... At windows device manager it show as LGE Android MTP devices with error code 10...and showing connected to port:COM3....If I try to get in to the download mode..it get stuck at the (.............) download page...it is not going to the page with big USB picture...
My thinking is...Since the device manager is showing that it is connected at COM3.....Can I force flash the boot.img, aboot.img, laf.img etc files with "Send command.exe?
At least I can try to force flash right? If it is possible..may be I will be able to enter in to the download mode:fingers-crossed: Right? Where can I get this "Send command.exe" and how it works?

Hello,
It was easy to unbrick the fastboot but now... ok, you are stuck in LG LOGO but after no black screen? can you charge you battery? And if you try to go to RecoveryMode, what's happen? do you have multiple partitions and QHSUSB_DLOAD trying to be instaled? It's also easy to unbrick the QHSUSB and if it is the case, don't use send_command to flash manualy your device.
Maybe, you can force flash. You have to find a solution to push all .img files to your device. If you cannot use ADB, try to put the img files to sdcard.
you can found send_command.exe and ports.bat in this zip file, it's an utilities for having root on LG G2 :
LG_Root.zip
you can use all root command with it!

Hi!
As I known, LG G2 is unbrickable
This method is for last resort because I havn't complete documentation about this!
I've tested it with my own LG F320L only
Try to flash with TOT files or LGUP
Try to repair the download mode http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2706590
Try to force the QHS_USB to appear then use the appropriate tools http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g2/general/file-unbrick-qualcomm-9006-qhsusb-t3056800
Try send_commande before shorting testpoint (it's less dangerous IN MY OPINION)

Hi,
So many of us are not happy with the oreo rom of Honor 8 Pro (C675). Those who looking forward to downgrade from Oreo to nougat just follow the steps. (This method is tested and is working. I just finished downgrading and is working perfectly fine. I just want to share this method with you guys. Also this i my first post in the forum. Some steps have been copied from a previous post by xfact)
Things you might need :-
>>A computer
>>At least 8GB memory card.
>>An unlocked bootloader. (you can relock it later)
>>Download the necessary files here :- [The Dload file was previously shared in this forum by xfact, but the link is not working now. Fortunately, I downloaded the file while it was available and I am providing the link to the google drive backup.]

[GUIDE] [X606X/F/V(A)] [Lenovo M10 FHD PLUS] How to get rid of the Orange State message

Whenever we unlock a mtk device to flash root, custom rom, gsi etc, the device will show the Orange State message.
This is how to get rid of it.
It works on Linux.
1) Download the rom which is currently installed on your X606X/F/V (check in "about device") or which was installed before you installed the custom rom or gsi HERE
2) Extract into a folder and rename Checksum.ini and xauth_sv5.auth to something else.
3) Copy lk-verified.img to lk-patched.img
4) Hex-edit lk-patched.img (I used GHex)
-search for Orange
-replace, starting at the O of Orange and ending on the last s of seconds, in the hex part everything by 00 (zero zero)
-save the patched file
(I attach the lk-patched.img I already did for TB-X606X_S300673_220613_BMP)
5) Download SLA & DAA authentication bypass tool HERE
6) Extract into a folder
7) Open a terminal in that folder
-chmod +x bypass
-./bypass
8) When you get the prompt choose your distro (mine is Manjaro, so I chose Arch)
-the script will download various packages and files
9) When prompted connect your switched off tablet
10) The script will launch SP Flashtool
-choose Scatter-loading file: go to the folder of the rom you unpacked and choose the MT676x_Android_scatter.txt
-untick the x next to 'Name', all will be unselected
-on the far right of lk, double click on the file name (.../lk-verified.img) and select lk-patched.img
-do the same for lk2
-now only lk and lk2 will have a x tick in front
-unplug the cable from your phone
-click Download
-plug the cable back into your phone
11) Succes!
-reboot your phone and enjoy no Orange State message.
