Connecting to Network Storage

Hello,
I have a storage drive with data on it that I want to be able to access from my HD2 but sadly I can't get it to connect. I have connected to the WiFi successfully and have the expected network address but I can't get it to connect. I have tried the following:
1. Go to file explorer
2. Menu > Go To > Open Path
3. New Path
4. \\dm105
5. I also tried \\IPADDRESS
I guessing the problem is due it being attached to a Windows 7 machine. Does anyone have any idea how to make it work? My windows XP box can connect to the drive no problem...
With \\IPADDRESS it says that network resource cannot be found. With \\DM105 it says my connection settings are missing but then I don't know what to do...
I get exactly the same problem, I'd expect at least a login prompt!
This may solve the problem
- Go to Settings -> All Settings (to get the original Windows Setting) -> Connections -> Wi-fi -> Click on Wireless Network -> Choose your network for the list -> change 'Connects to': from 'internet' to 'Work'.
Try to connect again from file explorer.
Good Luck

[HELP ASKED]Cifs configuration

Hi all,
first of all, scuse my english, I'm French
I've got a NAS, Dlink DNS323.
There is two volume inside. one in raid 0 for my data's back up, and an other one (called Volume_2) for my mp3 and movies (folders MP3 and folder films).
I'd like to acces the Volume_2 in cifs with my desire HD.
So I configured my nas a UPnP server, and share the entire Volume_2.
I dowloaded and installed mount manager, and it work perfectly with a share folder on my laptop.
But I can't connect my nas. I guess it's my munt path, but I'm not sure.
Could you help me please?
I tried many path (with my network account, and my root account).
for example this :
//192.168.1.XX/Volume_2/MP3
//192.168.1.XX/MP3
//192.168.1.XX/mnt/MP3
etc...
I've got always the same error message : munting Mypath on MyMobilePath failed: no such device.
I hope that someone can help me, I could be very cool to acces to my media files like this.
Thank in advance
DaD
I don't want to sound condescending, but you are on the same network with your phone, right? I.e. wifi? Otherwise, a 192.168.x.x network is not route-able outside your firewall.
it's ok, I'm asking for help, so...
Yes my mobile phone is connected at the same wifi network.
if I use a browser with the adresse http://192.168.1.XX, I can access to my nas configuration...
Maybe the cifs support option in the kernel of your phone is not enabled.
I am using clockworkmod v2.5.1.0. Cifs support is in the TWEAK menu in recovery mode.
After enabling I can set the path (similar to yours) in the app CifsManager and mount the mp3 share.
I'm sorry but my english is not good enought.
did you tel me to :
reboot in recovery mode
activate the cifs management using the tweak menu
and try again with those path?
Attention please! I am on Samsung Galaxy - I don't know if there is a similar option for your device!!
reboot in recovery mode
activate the cifs management using the tweak menu
and try again with those path?

Yes.
In the so called "ClockworkMod recovery" you will find some submenu when booted into recovery mode.
Choose
-> "advanced Speedmod ULK features"
-> "TWEAK options"
-> "Enable CIFS support" and reboot
In Cifs Manager try the same path to your network share agan.
But you have the have that clockworkmod installed. I don't know other options to get CIFS support running.
I tried, i've got the clockworkmod v2.5.1.3 installed on my device.
I didn't have advanced Speedmod ULK features submenu in.
Obvioulsy not the good version....
I searched a lil bit - and it seems that there is no comfortable way like on the samsung.
maybe this will help http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=821717&highlight=cifs.ko
Or search the HD forum for cifs.
I'm not very good with all this linux things...I'm a little noob in there.
But, I understood cifs works on cooked rom.
I may have to intall one of them, it's seam to be easier
Thank you for your time and kind help.

Most likely a firewall of some type is blocking windows update, have you tried searching google for a solution? There is of course always the possibility of reinstalling windows.
I tried turning off my firewall and anti virus but that didn't help. I googled it but I did not find any solutions.

I have this problem too. There is only one known workaround at this time. Please see below:
Go to IE: Internet Options->Connections->LAN settings. Check "Use a proxy server for your LAN". Under "Advanced", for the "HTTP" and "Secure" text boxes, type in "127.0.0.1" for the address and "8888" for the port. Under "exceptions", type in: "<-loopback>".
Remember to switch off the proxy once you have completed the windows update.
The other option is to use a utility called WSUS

/sdcard/btsnoop_hci.log not found

@anybody: please activate "Bluetooth HCI-Snoop-Protocol" in developer options and tell me if you have the file /sdcard/btsnoop_hci.log on your phone.
If yes => please tell me which rom you are using.
i am on xXx 9.6
the file is not existing. I tried to edit the /etc/bluetooth/bt_stack.conf manually. still no success. I need to debug the bluetooth data between my smartwatch (zeTime) and my phone.
It will be saved in /sdcard/oem_log/ once you enable logging in oemlogkit.
Dialer -> input *#800#->get wireless log->get bluetooth log.
Got the log. Can you recommend a tool to read it? Something Like wireshark for Android?
I am new to this. I am a java Developer, but new to Bluetooth Debugging
You can analyze it with wireshark, there's also a HCI debugger app in the play store.
Is anybody else having problems with the btsnoop file not being generated?
I've had Bluetooth problems ever since updating to OxygenOS 5.1.1 (https://forums.oneplus.com/threads/constant-bluetooth-problems-after-updating-to-5-1-1.831111/), and I'm still having the same problem after doing clean flash to 5.1.3.
OnePlus contact me about this and gave me the instructions to generate the log files to email to them, I followed those instructions and it generated different log files in the oem_log directory, except for the btsnoop file itself, and they were at a loss as well as to why the btsnoop file wasn't being generated.
Here's the instructions they gave me, I followed it to a "T" and tried different variations hoping one of them would work, but no luck.
Input *#800# from dialing interface, enter "oneplus logkit", delete history log
Click "advanced" > "save log type" > enable all options, then click OK
Tap “move log path to built-in SD card” and then click "save log", when it informs you whether to reboot, click “cancel” > enter "Wireless connection", enable "Bluetooth air bag switch" and “Bluetooth protocol stack LOG switch”
Go back, click "get QXDM Log, choose “bt related”, roll down, click "open device log"
Go to: settings>Developer options> Click Enable Bluetooth HCI snoop log to make sure this function has been enabled. If it is enable already, please enable again.
(Important) Then turn Bluetooth on, reproduce the issue and take a screenshot to record the time
Wait for several minutes (better above 10 minutes), tap "save log" and click “move log path to built-in SD card” again to stop it, enter QXDM Log and choose “close device log”
