Extremely Weird Radio Issue on Funrover Head Unit - Android Head-Units

Hi all,
I've bought this unit for my Mazda CX-7 and had it professionally installed - it ran fine for a while and I was very happy with it.
A rather weird issue developed - on this unit the FM radio starts automatically when you turn on the ignition (there doesn't seem to be a way around this) and when the Radio App is running, I can hear the radio fine, and if I start another app such as Google Maps as long as the radio is running I can hear sounds normally. However if I manually exit the radio or if an app takes over audio (say Spotify for instance) the head unit goes completely silent, only to be revived again when I reload the Radio app. This of course makes the head unit useless for music and bluetooth as as soon as any of these apps are loaded the unit goes silent.
On the manufacturer's advice I reset the CANBUS settings and verified with them that the CANBUS was set right for my make and model of car - still the same result. Tried all CANBUS settings that even mentioned Mazda, no luck.
I really don't know how to start trouble shooting this - I have been provided four different firmwares by the manufacturer all of which exhibit the same issue which indicates to me it may be an underlying hardware issue?
Just a quick dump from my 'About Device' if that assists at all. Any help/suggestions greatly appreciated, any relevant logs or files will be quickly gathered and posted

That the radio starts on these units on reboot can't be changed. It is a hardware "feature". The radio chip and AMP-chip are "awake" before Android is even running. That is why you hear the radio after cold boot. And for your convenience the radio app is also started, but that is only a front-end that allows you to either enjoy and control the radio(-chip) or switch it off.
I don't think the CAN-bus has anything to do with this behavior, but I can be wrong.
I think that when you switch off the radio, also the AMP is switched off, or maybe even disabled.
If you switch off the radio, can you check in your Settings whether the AMP is still enabled? And maybe play/try a few things?

The amp is still enabled in the car settings app if that's what you mean? Or are you thinking more on the hardware side?

What I meant is if you switch Amp off (no Amp) and then back to the value it had, and then try spotify or whatever.
Just a guess.

Is the manufacturer not willing to replace it?

No they're not

I have the same problem. The radio worked without any problem until I made the factory reset ( wifi wont work ) and from then on I have only the sound from fm radio app.

Hi there, changing this setting worked for me - for me I had to choose RZC and RZC.AMP but try a few MCU upgrades in this setting and see what works for your vehicle.
I also found the Funrover guys to be very communicative so try contacting them directly - as part of the trouble shooting process they provided me a couple of firmware updates - including putting one together especially for me based on the issues I was experiencing.

it does not work with me. I tried all the mcu options, I updated device using the software drovided by funrower, there is still no sound via mp3, bluetooth or video, only radio. MCU i think seted correctly because I have working steering wheel controls or mazda additional display... any other suggestions ??

Did you try all the MCU options with Mazda listed? I had to play around with a few and only RZC worked for me. If none of them work contact Funrover for their latest firmware and try the various Mazda MCU options.

New Funrover firmware ?

The CANBUS doesn't work correctly in a recent Funrover Android 8.1 installed in an Honda Accord 7 (recent firmware). I have test several type of CANBUS and there is nothing to do. On the other hand, I have read in another thread that there is identical issue with a Seicane Android 8.0 and a similar Honda car. Perhaps it is a problem related to Android 8.x version. I wait for a response from Funrover but I don't expect much.

After that, I have selected XP - Toyota - RAV4 - xxxx16xxxx in my Accord 7 Executive and it works almost completely. State of buttons with LED inside are not shown or shown inverted in the emergent screen. Thus, If a button has LED, I observe its state, but, when a button hasn't a LED, I observe its state on the emergent screen. It's a little yam but it's the only solution I have found with this unit.
On the other hand, I have selected a vehicle in the "China" subgroup and the screen has begin to shown many a many CANBUS codes on the screen. It seems to be a debug option. But unfortunately, I hasn't been able to repeat the sequence in order to activate this mode another time. It ocurred a day when I have tested all vehicle models and I have selected them very quickly.

Joying Rk3188 Head unit Questions

I've tried searching and couldn't find any concrete answers (probably tapatalks fault) to the following problems. What is the voltage on the audio preouts(RCA's)? I just installed the JY version yesterday and noticed my volume has greatly decreased from the OEM unit with an active Line out converter. I'm thinking its the preouts voltage. The second question has anyone been successful at getting torque or Carista to work? I have a BT ELM 327 adapter that I've had for years and it has worked with all other android with out a problem. It does not even show up in Bluetooth devices. The third question is on cars with a can-bus system. I have this installed in as 2011 VW CC, is there anyway to get song information to show up with a music app other than the stock music player? I'm not too fond of the JY music interface. I'm currently running Malaysk's ROM and darkleo's MCU v2.59

I just installed one of these in my 2004 silverado. Since you were using a line out converter, I"m assuming you have an amp inline. I had the exact same problem until I figured out the gain had to be turned up on the amp. For whatever reason, with the factory setup, it required very little power from the amp. Now the gain is probably 75%+ up on the amp with the rk3188.
Not sure about the Elm 327. I'd assume it works because they sell it on the ebay store and advertise it as an accessory.
I'd like a different radio app, this one is ugly.
I had the gain turned up 85%, tried using a line driver which worked but introduced a lot of noise into my system, I ended up putting the line out converter back in and that seemed to take care it. The issue is the rca preouts are putting out about half a volt vs the 2 volts they advertise. As for the Obd reader i was able to get it to work since i posted here, its just a pain to set up every time .
GPS Audio Mixing
I have a question about the GPS audio mixing on a Joying RK3188 unit. In the GPS settings I have mixing enabled and the ratio set to 10. When listening to Pandora, the GPS audio (turn by turn voice) is fine and at a good level. However, when listening to the radio the GPS audio is very low, almost cant hear it at all. Anyone have any ideas how to fix this?
Thanks for your help...

I too have the problem with the GPS sound being low when listening to the radio! Have you solved that???
Mixing should be set at 10 and the gps volume should be also increased within the app and works fine for me.
But the only problem is if I don't have music playing I get scared because the gps volume is super loud! Lol
There's a big difference in listening to Radio or music at the same time as you use gps.
I spoke to joying today and it might be solved in one of the next updates, because it is a fault in their setup.
Hello... May i ask the the pro's and con's and first impressions of your Joying car radios, and how long you have those units in your car?
Thanks.
I just got mine monday this week. Had some issues but almost fixed it all. Great unit but looking forward to an update that i spoke about further up in the thread. So thumbs up from me.
Have you guys tried going into Factory Settings (code is 126) and seeing if the volumes are set all the way up?

I raised the radio volume from default 10 to 15. Any higher and the increments of the volume was too much.
But that doesn't help the gps volume.
I'm still using the 2014 iGo and they recently gave me the 2015 updates which I haven't installed yet.
The only problem I have is that the only way to adjust the volume in the iGo is by multiple steps of going through the settings which is not ideal when your driving.
I had another iGo in another Headunit and the volume was adjustable via the quick menu.

On my unit I had radio volume and a gps volume in the factory settings? However I haven't messed with them. My radio goes loud enough to make my Infiniti Kappa's distort so I don't have any reason to bother with it. Funny thing is the volume number at max usable volume is almost the identical number to what it was for my stock radio. It's possible that what I'm hearing is the internal amp just not having enough power to go louder but it's plenty enough noise and the quality is just fine as long as you're not on FM lol.
Good Morning,
i have the same Problems on my Joying Head Unit for my Skoda.
On MP3 (Mediaplayer) or Radio the Soundlevel deviate to much.
Steering wheel controls for Non-Native Apps.
Has anyone found a way to enable the steering wheel controls (namely next and previous functions) to work on any music app or media app? My steering wheel next and previous buttons have been programmed on the head unit and work only with the native music app. I know there are apps out there like CarService that allow you to control another music apps but I want to be able to control any music app or media app with next and previous functions without having to jump through hoops to do it; Simply turn the unit on, open music/media app of choice and control the next and previous functions from steering wheel controller. Any help with this is greatly appreciated.

I got TTS to work with Igo to pronounce street name but the GPS audio mixing/switching does not work. Music and GPS voice still sound at the same level, no fade or switching. Has anyone have that issue with TTS?

Hey, on the page reduce the volume of radio from 10 to 1 or 2 or 0. Then try. I reduced that value to 2 or so. Now it seems to be Okay. But I wanted to use my Sygic license. But I am having some problems with downloading maps. So once I download the map, i will move to Sygic instead of iGO.
Is it possible to adjust the "ruler" in the backup camera? So you can size it properly to the actual width of your vehicle?
No you can't.
power control and OBDII bluetooth
I have two questions about the Joying RK3188,
Does the unit automatically wake and sleep when the key is turned on and off, or must one turn the power on and off manually?
Is it compatible with BAFX Products 34T5 Bluetooth OBDII scan tool for android devices?
Thanks,
Dave

1. It turns on automatically on/off with the cars ignition just like any aftermarket radio. You can also set the delay off so if you shut off your car and restart right away there is no boot time.
2. I've used it with PLX Kiwi II OBDii scanner with no problem. It will recognize just about any Bluetooth device.

Hi everyone, I've recently buy this radio for my car and everything goes well until I used the radio app. This app doesn't have rds and the quality of signal is very poor. So I went in factory setting and I find radio setting and inside that sub menu I found 3 choice auto match, nxp 6851 and fm inside. If I select nxp radio doesn't work and its app too. If a select the other 2, app changes its design and few functions but work not fine at all becouse its reception is bad. I need help to fix this becouse nxp is the radio chip mounted inside. I attaching my mcu and other information.

Hi gextex,
I have same.
nxp 6851 chip...search for TEF668X_SDS.pdf
has rds.
A reception problem usually caused by antenna issue, could also be a miswire.
Is it ok now?
I did some further testing and confirm there is a problem with the radio settings.
When radio set to "nxp 6851 " gui now shows AM available, but won't search, cannot adjust freq, band AM, FM1,2 will highlite, response extra slow, radio doen't work.
Goto FM only back in Factory settings (use pwd=8888), FM-only band works ok.
Either there is no 6851 chip or driver/ soft NG.
They are still advertising that this unit supports AM band!!
As of my understanding, The YT9217 devices do not have dedicated radio chip on the circuit board. And therefore have very limited functionality.
YT9218 devices have the radio chip installed.

Thanks Viktorsaari -that explains it.
It looks like I cannot just add the missing radio chip-according to your pic, its also missing all the surrounding SM components!
On a further note re this unit......
physical button learning on Factory Settings i.e. Steering Wheel Control keeps " learn failed. try again" despite me reading 3.3v being pulled to a lower value and being applied ok.
Would this relate to " limited functionality" and more missing parts?
And IR remote control no go?
Thank You

I recently bought AHU marked with label 8227L_demo from aliexpress
I bought it as replacement for original screen in BMW series 2 for price around 300$.
After receiving that item i got new screen and bunch of cables:
1. cable letting me to connect it before original computer.
2. usb audio adapter - which shall be connected to usb output from original computer
3. usb cables which after connecting to screen gives us 2 usb ports.
- no instruction provided, but cables were clearly labeled
After connecting it i were able to see new android which launcher looking very similar to that what i had in BMW, but in that launcher icons are unable to be modified.
Unit was provided originally with android 9, sound worked only when i swap on native computer to USB audio. Than i could swap to NEW system. When i swap back to original system that NEW system is FREEZED. When i try to use NEW system with IDRIVE - oryginal system also works - it is duplicating controls to new system.
Any way I proceed to install new launcher from google play store and all worked fine till engine shutdown - After it system was not been able to stand up - it hangs on bootloop.
I received from seller new firmware which shall be installed after reboot from USB. Quite complicated is that it often does not recognize USB pendrive. I made this 2 times, and it took me a while to initiate loading from USB - dont know why but it finally worked after 40 min of trying with 3 different pen drives.
Android system works normally but has a lot of bugs. For eg bluetooth connection is not initiated automatically, has very poor audio and no noise canceling. Unit is very bright and you have to manually control brightness of it. Mine unit also has poor receive of gps signal and comparing to native gps receiver mounted in BMW change in direction was recognized after 3-5 sec. There is no gyroscope.
I decided to return it mainly because there were problem with time on native BMW system. There were no time after installing that equipment. So I could not enter any charging plans or enter statistics or even see when my maintenance was planned.
Files which I received to that unit are here. There is also movie with that AHU.

Hi,
I had just got a YT9216B, have bad radio reception also on the FM.
I was thinking that it could be antenna problem, but the antenna work well with the original head unit came with the car (non-android, bulky unit). Could it be YT9126B radio chip is weak and require stronger antenna?
I read about how YT9128B have radio chip and YT9127B do not have, what about YT9126B?
Hello,
I'm new here...
I've read about a relay/amplifier that can fix the reception problem... I'll probably give it a try.
--
Anyone have managed to make the 8227L connect with canbus and receive/control signal from the car (read doors status/fuel/AC) ?
It seems that was what Harpik have done with the help of the vendor (?).
Thank You

Guys, as a semi-professional modder, I can tell you that your expectations on the performance of these units should be very low. One of the things that I do during the hardware modification part is completely rebuilding the electronics of the Radio reception and sound quality.

Hi to all, I bought this amplifier and even with DAB + amp included (3/1 AM FM dab amp) , signal is a much better but not high, mostly it depends on regions in which you are, also for that DAB signal I bought usb dongle device DAB+ and now I am able to hear radio stations across Croatia and some Italian ones.

Hi put AM and FM sense to 18-24 (18 is for wider modulations and higher number means high modulaton transmissions are gained), put IC type at nb. 5 - 7708, FM sort - freq , FM band - 1/2/3, and RDS system (AF ON) is ON

Android 9.1 Stereo issues.. Need advice or firmware update to resolve?

Hello to all you wonderful people
Firstly thank you for taking the time to read and potentially help me resolve this issues. Here are the issues I am experiencing.
Vehicle 2006 X5 BMW 4.4i E53 (No hating on please I already know)
Unit 9"inch Chinese made Android 9.1 firmware. Not connected to aftermarket amplifier and no RCA Audio connect)
Android YT9213A_00009_V001_20200312
Android os 9.1 XY Auto:3.2 (8227L)
Can Pro 3.0 (8227L)
Cpu A7 1.3Hz x 4
MCU 3.1 (8227L)
1. Unit only produces sound when using the Radio (Front speakers only and No fade ability, left right or EQ)
2. I have set the Canbus to BMW but Steering Wheel Button Mapping is non functioning or recognising.
3. Updated software via units button and Wi-fi and still no change
4. Vehicle has a DSP amplifier aka Splits 2 channel signal into 6 channels
5. Has Bluetooth connectivity but does not pick up sound when on a call from within the car nor produces any sound when playing music tracks or video.
6. Struggles to play movie files (Wondering if it is just a file type issue - I use "mkv" file types normally "VLC player" )
7. Google maps produces no street name data and only shows directional lines and no turn information vocally.
Please note that the company I bought this off no longer replies to emails and wont engage in any form of help..
I am hoping that a raw firmware update to Android 10 or similar will fix most /all of these issues...if so I would need a link to the firmware file please - Plus if advised that RCA connects are the answer to the Sound issues maybe the answer.
If anyone has any advice I would be greatly appreciated

If your BMW is anything like my jeep then number 4 is your problem. You have the factory premium sound (factory dsp amp)
Your factory amp only uses 2 channels from your android unit. You can not control fade because your android unit can not control the Can Bus fade system in your factory amp. You can't hear Bluetooth, or navigation info because the 2 channels from the android unit which are connected to the factory dsp are the REAR channels and meanwhile all bluetooth and nav information is fed through the FRONT channels on the android unit. You can correct this by switching the front channels with the rear channels on the android unit.
You will still not be able to correct fade though. What you can TRY though is going into the FACTORY SETTINGS on the android and make sure you have AMPLIFIER turned on. If your android machine is 'smart enough' then it will understand that your dsp fade needs to be controlled through CAN Bus.
If you ordered the factory specific android unit for your bmw, your steering wheel buttons SHOULD work, but you will not be able to remap them.
The cpu that you have in that machine is not really strong enough to handle mkv files. You should convert to a simpler format if you want to play video on that machine.

Hi new member. Welcome, suggest taking the time to learn the basics of Chinese Android head units, there are alot of informative posts and a wiki for MTCx units.
As your unit is not an MTCD, I have requested a mod moves it to the appropriate Android head units forum.

Hey
I also have X5, but lucky for me - w/o DSP and NAVI. So every generic head unit works for me fine
But according to your problem.. unfortunately what Bob_sanders says is true and problem is DSP.
To allow your head unit handle DPS you need to buy additional I-BUS interface (which you connect using USB and soldering few wires) and download application.
You can read more in this thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/discussion-unofficial-bmw-i-bus-app.4077697/
Not sure if buying license is necessary to enable DSP, so you may check it before you buy.
But for sure updating Android version won't help - you have to use this I-bus thingy.
edit. same thing applies to steering wheel control - command are sent using I-bus (instead of CAN) and i-bus interface is needed to handle them.
But AFAIK you won't be able to do a custom mapping. They will work only like BMW designed it.
Custom mapping is only available to resistive-based SWC controls, which are connected to KEY 1 & 2 wires in head unit harness.

Hi Wotii098
I have found an answer to the problem and it is a super simple one...
So apparently the power antenna wire is the answer... So the issue goes without the activation of that wire the unit thinks there is no antenna and will not go any further with sound and will only produce basic Radio audio... So what you need to do is attach the "BLUE" Ant wire (Pin No.12) to the Yellow power wire and this will instantly fix the issue.. Spread the word my brethren and thank you for your response.

HUH?
Sorry... I'm not sure what you did or the problem you were having but the blue antenna wire is just an antenna trigger wire which OUTPUTS a voltage. There is no "activation" of that wire and nothing on that wire to sense any connection. It simply outputs a voltage to trigger a power antenna. If you do not have a power antenna then DO NOT connect it to anything.
It is NOT advised that you connect that wire to the yellow 12 volt constant voltage wire. That is NOT what it is for, and you may damage your machine in the end.

Arrr But that's the thing.. it's a trigger wire that the unit uses to trigger the DSP Amp that everything is active and to open up the signal to the amp.
Well not the best and actual scientific/electrical way of putting it... but it worked and fixed most of my issues.. I've only got one issues left which is the steering wheel button mapping which doesn't work. Which could be the actual buttons/assembly as I did not test them when I bought the SUV, because the stereo's screen was dead.
Either way I hope this helps someone who is having the same issue as me for a 2005/6 model BMW X5 or any other car/suv/truck with the same issue.
Give it a try if you are having this problem Bob.. can't hurt.. Didn't hurt my unit..
Here is a Youtube link to the video I found that solved the issue:

No. It is a trigger wire for your Antenna. That's precisely why it shuts down when you turn the radio off. Your power antenna is no longer needed because you are not listening to the radio anymore, so it retracts back down into the vehicle.
What you are doing when you connect to the yellow is feeding a REVERSE voltage through a circuit which was designed to PRODUCE a voltage, not receive one. You risk damage to your machine by doing so.
If you are having problems keeping your dsp alive then you have wired something wrong. I don't know what head unit you have but all the ones I know of have a separate "AMP" wire which is used to trigger the amp/dsp. It stays on at any time the head unit is on.

CAN bus question

Is there a way to modify CAN bus module? My car’s clock used to work with OEM HU but after switching to Android the clock stopped working, is there a way to modify CAN bus functionality so i can get it to display the clock from HU to car’s Clock area.
It might help to name the exact head unit, the exact car model, and the brand of the CAN.
headunit is: Joying - JY-HQ148N4GN
Canbus Type is LZ(HZ) - LZ2012
MH: 20200819
For Spirior+AMP
HW: V3 - SW: V4
car is Honda Accord CU2 8th Gen/ Acura TsX / Honda Spirior 2009
this is where normally the clock appears. The headunit gives information like Volume and Current mode but not giving clock on this screen.

Without seeing the wiring schematics, I would first check the power cable to the radio. Get a multimeter and check that it has power.
You haven't explained if the clock ever worked whilst you have your new radio installed or not.
If it used to work with your new radio, what did you change in the timesleading up to the clock not working?
If the clock never worked, what makes you think it is the CAN causing the lack of power? CAN usually runs command. I would have thought that the clock - if it is only a clock - only needs a 12 v power and ground and that it was otherwise self sufficient.
CAn you enlighten us a little more about the clock?
The clock was powered by the OEM HU.
I bought the Prelingcar Android (in the photo attached above) HU that came with a Can bus, for the first few days i did not connect the Can bus and the clock was not appearing at all, after connecting the Can bus the clock started to appear but after few weeks of use the HU wasn’t working as expected so i returned it. This is how i know that Can bus was powering the clock again.
Now i bought a Joying HU that also comes with Can bus. But it is not displaying the clock. It can show volume info/ mode info on the same screen and if i disconnect the can bus that volume info and mode info disappears so can bus is showing some bit of info there.
i want to know if there is any way to modify the Can bus.

I don't think so.
It is all embedded code in some chip.
All those Chinese builders/resellers use 5~6 brands of canbus controllers. Some of them are one-directional, some are bidirectional also allowing you to control airco/heating from your module.
You need to know which binary code is used to tranfers the time, and then how to upload it in your chip. I know that some users modify them using an Arduino (if that means something to you.)
But did you ask Joying already? [email protected]
They might have an aswer, or if you have the Honda Can bus specifics, you might send those to them (but I don't think that will help)
Yes i did contact Joying and their answer is that their Engineers don’t have enough time to work on it, don’t think they actually have resources to work on canbus, they simply just buy them from someone in China. This is the customer server you get from Joying after spending $500 lol

As the man on the surfboard mentioned, I found some info on reprogramming wiht Ardunio or ESP8622. ESP are much cheaper (just a few US dollar / Euro) than Ardunio and you can use the Ardunio SDK with them. If what I just said does not make sense, then you are better off forgetting about the reprogramming route.
According to http://www.szraise.com/, Hondas , at least more recent versions, are using and RZ model CANbus. No reason to think they would have changed.
Is there an option in your new radio's factory settings to change to an RZ style CAN > Honda > and then try each model option near your car's era until you get functionality.
The factory setting option name might be "Car Model" or something similar.
Maybe take some screen shots of your Factory Settings if you can't find the setting to change the CAN. If you can find the CAN Setting option, take screen shots of that and let's see if we can't get you going again.
Edit:
I just saw that your CAN is an LZ. Was the first CAN also an LZ? Is it the correct CAN?
Maybe try the LZ model in the factory settings first. Maybe my assumption that older Honda's used RZ like more current Honda's do.

i did try all in RZC can but nothing displayed the clock.
The previous one from Penlingcar was Simple Soft canbus .
in LZ there is only one model and that is what im using and told by joying to use it.
it does support steering wheel control, factory amp, reverse sensor info and door info though

Then I would be checking power to the clock and the connector personally. Occam's razor and all.
The headunit powers the whole screen and displays information there including clock. when I selected RZC, it turned off the screen completely. I don’t think its the power or connector. It is the Can bus not conveying clock information to that screen.
all the best with it then.

My friend solved this by using Honda CR-V on the canbus setting
I think the canbus is made to work on a variety of cars. I just ordered a Teyes cc3 for my 2015 civic and they sent me a canbus decoder for a 2015 CRV. I was comparing the wiring for the CRV and for my Civic and they are different. You may have the same issue and maybe some cables are in the wrong location.
Hi friends I bought a car radio T72 and I would like to set up a canbus for my car I have a Kia Sportage 2015 you can advise. Thank you.

does the climate control come on the android screen?
Did you reboot the unit after changing Canbus type? At least I had a similar problem with my Mazda 3, had to selected a different one. Only got it working with a reboot and a power off
I tried various CANBUS settings and the display did not show any function that I could control via the unit. I have Isudar T72 6/128 Gb unit.
In an Accord 7th, temperature is not shown on dash but in Android screen. It seems a CANBUS message is missing from radio to dash. Perhaps dash sends a query or not but it is clear radio doesn't sends nor responds. For a Civic 8th, somebody has shown in Youtube how to convert temperature from analog and sending by CANBUS using an little Arduino. In fact, he takes only CANH, I think to remeber. But I think this is too complicate, not complete and I don't think conversion must be necessarily linear. The best solution is send a CANBUS message from Android radio to dash. In most radio device, 8 pin connector on the back has TXD and RXD and CANBUS layer 0 (physical layer) is accessed through A/C button block card (Accord 7th, i.e.) or an external CANBUS box. However, a message is missing. I wish to do it intervening TXD/RXD and also giving access to Torque at the same time. But it is necessary to use two serial adapter to do a passthough on both senses, and a third one to connect Torque, with an Arduino as core gateway or a custom Android App in the radio. The ideal solution requires to get access to Android internal resources. But I haven't info.
I continue. In Accord 7th, CANBUS line is TTL (0 V and 4.4 V) and connection to MICU is done through pin 14 of 16 pins green connector (Accord 7th with two thermostat). In Accord 8th, I have read pins CANH and CANL are in 24 pins connector but I haven't paid more attention because mine is a 7th one. I suppose TTL line of Accord 7th works as P2P (peer to peer) but probably 8th one, having CANH and CANL, permits to add more nodes, as long as MICU or ECU not to have intrusion prevention (I don't know).

I need firmware for Android 10 BMW e60 CCC unit.

Hi there,
Can someone help me please to get Firmware for my BMW e60 CCC unit with Android 10? I did something stupid and installed a wrong firmware for other car, from here -> https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/junsun-v1-pro-mtk8259-mtk8257-firmware.4283365/ and now my unit has changed the interface and I cannot acces the original CCC of my car.
My MCU is: TsBMW.210826
Also, I have attached a picture where you can see the MCU fro my unit.

Hi guys.
really hope someone can help me out. I just install a Erisin android 10 px5 headunit into my 2008 BMW E60 with the ccc system. I cannot get into the original ccc system to change audio output to AUX. the screen just goes black and i cannot select anything. Ive tried contacting the seller and got nothing but silence. Ive gotten into the system and the canbus says its for VW/Skoda. Obviously this is not me car. Im thinking that is the issue.
I have tried using files above to rectify the issue but the system does not recognise the update files. Ive tried factory reset, nothing. Im at a loss to what i can do with the correct files. Below is a screen shot of the system.

You're welcome, you can try reinstalling the factory unit and make sure it is in Aux mode, then install the Erisin unit to see if you now have sound.

Never even thought of that! But would it stay in AUX mode? Still doesn't fix that the canbus installed is for a VW tho. Any ideas on where I could get the correct files. I've scrolled through Google for hours without any luck. Thanks for help BTW.
Did your car come with factory Nav (8.8" display in the dash)? If so, cycle through your "Mode" button on the OEM unit with the stereo on and volume up. If you have a CD in the player you'll cycle through radio, CD and Aux. You'll then be able to identify the Aux mode. I didn't find a solution to the missing Can bus file yet. Try this if no Aux sound https://www.dvdgpsnav.com/blog/solution-for-no-sound-after-installed-bmw-e60-android-head-unit/

No it never had sat nav. Hence why upgrading to an android unit. Only had the basic 6.5 ccc unit. Might just have to install the oem unit and change it to AUX as you've previously suggested.
Hi! Does anyone know if there is a software update for my Android Unit?
I am desperately looking for an update for my Android unit, as I am currently struggling with many bugs and errors.
The Android unit is installed on a BMW 1 F20, built in 2017. I currently have Android 11 (fake), but it is actually Android 9 :/ Is it also possible to update the Android system from 9 to e.g. 10?

I mentioned to my reseller on Aliexpress that they sold me a different version than what was advertised and they initiated the refund process. I bought mine in December of last year. Might be worth a try.
