LG G6 Flashed Wrong Firmware/Unable to Flash .KDZ File Fix - LG G6 Questions and Answers

Hi all,
Recently had some trouble where I flashed a H870 firmware onto my G600L LG G6. After hours of frustration and effort, I finally found the solution.
1. Put LG G6 into Download Mode (Hold Up Button when powered off, then plug in USB cable)
2. Download and Run LG Bridge
3. Go to software update - the software will detect the correct model and download the correct firmware file and install it

Can I up the rom H873 for G600LP? And can fix by your way?

Well, this is a standard "fix"...
Everyone should know how to do that before even flash anything. Nothing new, but is nice to see that you have saved a G6...

Do you know how to solve that no sound bug in lg g6 g600l....

[Q] l3 flashed incorrect baseband help

Hi guys, can anyone help me with this, I recently acquired a lg e400 and rooted it, was going to flash cyanogenmod for it but i messed up and flashed a different baseband for a different model phone first(i know it was stupid, now i have a semi-hard brick and the only mode i can get into is a black screen, computer sees the phone as lge androidnet usb, i enter this by holding the vol down and power as i plug into the computer. I've tried every other key combo but cannot get into any other mode....i've tried using the lg flash tool with no success, tried uptest with no result, tried the lg mobile support tool and it picks up my phone as the correct phone lge400r with a software version of v20e which used to be a v10b....how can i flash just the correct baseband?....i also tried kdz and when i try and flash the original kdz file it starts but fails with wparam:100 lparam:1002, i'm thinking maybe i have the incorrect firmware kdz....could anyone point me in the right direction with this?....it's driving me nuts

I think that you should use this site LINK. There you have all of the firmwares for L3, and you can choose baseband

yes, i tried that, but the only mode i can enter is download mode.....kdz updater fails, is there a way to flash in download mode?
1. Download THIS, your firmware as .kdz file and LG PC Suite
2. Install msxml.msi, and LG PC Suite
3. Run KDZ_FW_UPD (some antivirus software can recognize it as malicious software, but I have used it, and there is not any problem with this)
4. Select Type: 3GQCT, PhoneMode: DIAG or PhoneMode: Emergency (I don't know what is difference between them, so you have to test it)
5. In KDZ File you are choosing your previously downloaded firmware which is in .kdz format file
6. Boot to Download Mode (vol down + power) in the same moment you have to plug your LG to PC.
7. Wait for drivers installation, if nothing is installing go to the next step.
8. In KDZ_FW_UPD hit Launch Software Update and you have to wait until you see message "===FINISHED==="
That's all.
I used THIS guide.

[Q] LG Leon 4G bricked

Hello Guys,
yor are my last hope!
I tried to root my device but there was no working way for it.
So i decided to use this guide (http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/development/root-t-mobile-lg-leon-5-1-1-lollipop-t3194145) to root my phone. I didn't know that this Telekom software is simlocked so i used another guide to unbrick it. Unfortunately it came out that the software i used at this time was the metro pcs version of the stock firmware.
Now i am looking for a working stock firmware cause every german/france software from this pages (http://lg-phone-firmware.com/index.php?id_mod=171) and (http://www.lg-phones.org/category/lg-leon) didn't worked for me.
Every time i tried the 3GCT with Emergency and the cdma with cs_emergency way.
But it always ends in a bootloop with the lg logo and the android symbol then restart and long time LG logo.
I don't understand why Telekom and Metro PCS versions worked but the others don't.
It would be great if you could explain me this.
Greetings
Sven

Hey guys, I'm a new member so I can't start my own thread so I figured I'd try this out. I bought a LG risio (Leon) off of craigslist and the dude factory reset it when I handed him the cash but now it's asking me for a e-mail or phone number that was previously used with the phone and now I can't get a hold of the guy. Is there any way to get past this situation or am I screwed?
Please don't hate on me for posting this where I did. I just don't have any other options so if someone can help me please do.

This method is USEFUL for your situation & unbricking lg Leon LTE
This method is for ONLY metroPCS
Don't hold me responsible if this method doesn't restore your phone or makes it worse. THERE IS NO WAY TO DOWNGRADE BACK TO ver MS34510B after using this method.
Install
LG United Mobile Driver 3.14.1
LG Flash tool 2014 (build 03/07/2014)
After flash tool installation
1. Remove the battery and put it back in.
2. Hold the Volume Up button (ONLY) while connecting to USB Cable
3. The Volume up button needs to be held until it reaches download mode
4. Open device manager and changed the LGE Mobile USB Serial port to COM 20
5. Open the Flash Tool
6. Select Type: 3GQCT
7. PhoneMode: EMERGENCY
8. KDZ : MS34510D_00.KDZ
9. Click on Normal Flash
10. Click on Clear update registry
11. Country: different country
12. Language: English
13. Click okay and wait for the LG Mobile Support tool to recognize the device. It takes a minute or two but the tool will recognize it. The software starts the extraction and re-boots at %100. You can remove USB cable, your device will boot normally, and the device is no longer stuck in a boot loop.

LG H870 stuck in LG boot logo after Oreo update. Nougat is working....

I have the LG G6 H870 single sim version, and it's a strange thing.
The Lg G6 remains locked on the LG logo, wait 15 minutes or more.. and does not go any further regardless of flashing method, LG Up or LG Bridge. Now it has the 11th global version installed. Using Uppercut and any version of Nougat starts right after the update. Any version of Oreo, flashed with LG UP or LG Bridge (LG Bridge detects that updating is required and proposes the V20b and installs it) remains stuck at the LG "Powered by Android" logo. It appear on Windows device manager, connected after boot like Serial device, so it's stuck in some Download Mode i think, and after pressing Vol down and power, it enter without problem on Download mode... pressing Vol Up and conecting cable in one second before reboot....
I tried both the bootloader locked and unlocked. The same problem every time. Oreo does not appear as OTA The check now for update message is: "You are using the atest software version for current OS".
Any idea is welcome. Please help!
I have the EXACT same problem.
Any help guys?

Still stuck on Nougat...it refuses to let me go back up to Oreo.
Tried numerous .KDZ of Oreo, numerous flashable zips of Oreo.
Do I perhaps need a different kind of .laf or boot.img etc?

LG G6 not getting upgrade on oreo!

hi
I am using a LG G6 (software version H87310h) which is now on android 7.0 . when trying to upgrade through update center in setting it shows you are using the latest software version for current OS. what can I do to upgrade on 8.0
connect it to PC and use LG Bridge to see if they are avaiable there, install USB LG drivers first and after LG Bridge...
if they dont say nothing about update, then you need to go ahead and use Uppercut and download KDZ for your device and flash manually.

LG G6 H870 Stuck in Firmware Update

After installing an unofficial build of Pixel Experience and having some issues with it i decided to flash my G6 back to firmware, but when tried doing it with LG UP i kept giving me Error messages about DLL's not matching each time i did it and it was weird to me cause i flashed it to firmware before with all the same files and it worked just fine, i tried LG Bridge but it won't install as it's stopping at 14%, my G6 is now on the Frimware Update screen, when i reboot it by pressing Volume Down + Power Button it shows the G6 Logo and boots straight back into Firmware Update, any ideas what im supposed to do at this point?

Have you fixed the phone ? If not I can provide you tommorow with the exact files you need to get your device working, but mainly you need for lg up the lg v40 dll so your device can be recognized and then you need a kdz file ( stock software ) that you care going to flash on your device.

Get the dev patched LG UP from this post:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=76510671&postcount=168
and get the KDZ firmware specific or compatible to your phone from the lg firmwares website (just google it for the website link). You should still be able to enter download mode. Start LG UP on your PC and connect USB cable to the phone. then restart the phone by holding vol-down and power buttons, once the phone screen flickers and it starts restarting, let go of power and vol-down buttons and hold the vol-up button. You should now be back in download mode. Good luck.

This error is probably due to older dll, you are still using the older LG UP still installed on your computer. Remember, to use the Dev patched LG UP, you just unzip the file you downloaded and go inside the folder and doubleclick on the LGUPD.exe to start it.
If that doesn't work, need more information:
Did you uninstall all LG UP before installing Dev patched LG UP? Make sure you uninstall all LG UP from your PC and then use the Dev patched LG UP directly from the downloaded folder. Make sure you reboot the computer afterwards before trying. Try different USB cable if you have one. Try different USB port on the computer.
Make sure you are opening/using the LG UP you just downloaded. Which option did you pick in LG UP? Try Partition DL or Refurbish, both options if either works? Do not try any options that you don't know about, some options can delete everything on phone including IMEI information so don't try options such as chip erase.
What is your phone's model number and which kdz are you using? Does 0x2000 error give any more information on the popup?
If none of this works, post back here.

I've tried the provided dev lg up on a whole different pc, and that's the error im getting so im 100% sure it's not due to an older lgup, in the error message it shows that it's some kind of dll problem and i should install a new package .msi, i've tried different cables, ports, i did Partition DL & Refurbish, got 0x2000 both times
