I've Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo Plus (GT-I9060I). In the past 2-3 weeks, there was a problem with my phone. The problem is my phone shuts down when I use my camera with flash on. But works fine when flash is off. When I take shot (flash on), the sound (flash) comes and within a second, and screen vanishes.
And the problem won't happen if I took photos (flash on), while charging. I don't think it's the problem of battery as it looks & works fine.
So that's my problem. Hope I'll get the answer ASAP. Thank You

I've notice that sometimes when I put off the charger from device and 'playing' with it the screen time not counting! only after I turn off and on screen its start counting the screen time.... also if I reboot/turn off-on device, if I won't turn off and then on the screen it won't count the time the screen is on.
Its not happens all the time, but most of the time it is... Why is it happens?
2. Today I had it for the first time (hope the last time also) - I downloaded a game via Play and at home screen I tried to pull down the notification bar/status bar and it wasn't respond.
I tried to change to horizontal mode and it didn't work also, I've checked that touching responds in these areas and seems works properly.
I tried force close launcher still didn't work - the area on this status is changed - the time is update well, also the notifications seems not stucking, only can't swipe it down (one nor two fingers).
The only way I've found to fix it is reboot the device, then it back work fine.
Anyone have any idea why is it happens?
3. On camera (stock app), taking few pictures in sequence with flash on (notice that when I took pictures on low light/dark place while photo taken with flash) rebooting the device. Seems like there is a bug with the flash module. maybe with stock camera app - but when you take few pictures (lets say 10 pictures sometime more, nothing costant) with flash the device freeze and reboot itself.... Why is that?
I'm using stock 4.2.2, no root or bl opened..
Anyone notice one (or some) of these issues? And/Or anyone have any idea why these (or some of these) happens?

Looks like a hardware issue. My friend's Xperia neo used to reboot on using flash. they replaced the phone then.

Maybe, but Im not the only who facing this issue... (about the flash)
I guess you don't have nexus 4 so you can't check it...
Anyone else notice any of the issues that I've mention and/or have any idea why is that happens?
Some people have the flash issue with 4.4 too.. seems like google didn't fix it.

I seem to have the most bizarre issue that started happening last night. Ive been running XNote v3 and AEL kernel fine for a long time now.
Whenever my screen turns off (when i hit the power button or the timer runs out to turn screen off) The phone will after x minutes, either auto reboot or turn off (without shutdown animation)
It then remains off black screen and you do not know this unless you try use it again as you cannot power it back on at all, no sound and the phone is off as if you call you get voicemail.
Anyone any ideas what it might be?
I cant work out if it is software/ hardware related as nothing has changed software config wise and i have not done any updates.
I was thinking of maybe going to a stock kernel and see how that lives.
Its very easy to replicate and the only way to bring the phone back to life is to take the battery out.
If i am using the phone its perfectly fine, no reboots, freezes etc. Its only when screen is off.
OK since no one replied back but a lot of people viewed i thought i would provide an update.
Since factory resetting it
changing battery
wireless charging
removing sim
removing SD card
changing rom
changing kernel
changing back to stock
remove root
boot loader etc
all failed! a new replacement motherboard fixed the problem. i am unsure what caused the fault as it was working perfectly for over a month.
Hello guys, my name is Mat I'm new here and this is my first message so thank you for the help available on the forum!!
I have had a Nexus 4 for 2 years now and I was very happy with it until 5.0.1 upgrade when the phone started to bug repeatedly.
My main problem here is the Back camera. First the flash started to turn on by itself and stay on, until I turn the phone off ! it could do this several times per day, very annoying.
2nd, the camera could not be turn on, it would display an error message saying the camera is not available. It seemed to be fixed when suddenly it's just impossible to take a photo. The camera turns on fine but it doesn't take any picture. It just stands there open, but impossible to take any image...
Finally, the battery started 2 days ago to just drains by itself although in plane mode and off at night. It stay charged maybe one hour then it empties itself straight to the 5% battery alert mode !!
Any help or clue of what I can do to fix this? or should i just considerate upgrading to a Windows Phone?
It seems like faulty hardware. Have you tried factory reset ? If the problem continues, take it to a repair center, or don't.
Just get a new battery and replace it yourself, man. Windows Phones are the plague in the smartphone world.
The problem started a few days back, after using my phone display just stops working ie the screen goes black as if it is switched off although I get calls and message notifications. This started to become more frequent but a couple of restarts with no display used to do the trick. The day before yesterday, no matter how many restarts display remained off at first I thought this might be a rom issue so I flashed stock rom. phone booted up and after 20 mins of usage, the screen started going black yet again. and no number of restarts could again fix the problem. Now the phone display turns up every once in a day for about 10 mins. Also when I get into the bootloader ( when the display works) the text all get distorted after some time with lots of green and pink lines running here and there. any guess what the issue might be? Is it the displays problem or any other hardware? Please help
Hi all - got two Le Pro3, both turn off during video calls (tried whatsapp and duo). No problems using the camera app.
1 normal, running the last paranoid android release - turns off after about 5 minutes
1 elite running the latest official lineage - turns off after less than a minute
its a consistent crash, strangely remember having longer video calls on the elite when running the previous lineage version.
is it an overheating problem? have you guys got workarounds?
I think I fixed the problem - installed the developer firmware thats linked on the forum ( https://sourceforge.net/projects/lineageos-on-leeco/files/firmware/zl0/ )
All this time I thought I had gotten away without finding out what flashing firmware was about...
managed to have a 5 minute video call on whatsapp
EDIT: but crashed later on duo. turns out the problem only happens when the phone is unplugged from charging!
Well since the problem was fixed just by plugging it in, realised the battery was shot (didn't realise since the phone was never used very heavily). Replaced battery, had a normal video call. Also fixed the problem of the phone slowing down whenever the battery was reaching around 50%.
