n910k 2g only on o2, no LTE

Hi all
I managed to get ahold of an n910k note 4 but for some reason it doesn't seem to get LTE on the o2 network.
I am guessing it has something to do with band settings or maybe the modem, is there any way to change which frequency is being used so I can pickup LTE ?

O2 onlu use 4G in 800MHz and the Korean version doesn't have this band...
You should have checked this before buying the phone.

Damn, there is no way to add it? Maybe someone could send me a different modem?

No way mate , i got SM-N910K korean version with LTE-A (lte advance) i live in uk i got 3 (three) sim card instide i can confirm is working the lte and 3g(hpda+ ) also but i got battery drain , phone is keep searching for korean radios , i got different baseband i got battery drain to much i can got only 2 hours of display on time

To clarify, the question is about enabling 3G/4G for both SIM-cards at the same time AFAIK.
Using 3G/4G on SIM 1 or SIM 2 works, just not at the same time.

BTW. do you know phones that are using 3G/4G on SIM 1 or SIM 2 at the same time?
I thought that there is a way to enable it on Honor 7, that is why I bought the phone hehe, Thanks!

You and me both, I just made the "cutout" trick so that I can have a microSD and two SIMs at the same time but apparently my work SIM only supports 3G and 4G while my own supports 2G, 3G and 4G. I have 50 GB data on my own and 500 MB on my work SIM, so I wanted to split them that way but now I'm stuck with 0.050 Mb/s data speed on my own SIM and a microSD with a glued SIM-chip from my work phone which I don't know if I dare remove without damaging it - and if so I don't even know if I can manage to put that chip inside another phone again
Strangely enough my work SIM allows 2G roaming to Denmark (in south-western Sweden we can easily reach the Danish cell phone providers) but I don't think my employer would be happy with me racking up roaming fees of several hundred dollars per month.
I really hope there will be a fix/ROM-hack for this but I fear that it has to do with the hardware - I think it needs two 3G/4G radio chipsets (don't know what it's actually called) and only has one, just like a cheaper TV does not have PictureInPicture because it has only one receiver

A dump question. Does anyone with the plk-al10 vervion noticed that when changing from 4g -sim 1 to 4g sim 2 the phone remains for one second on 3g on both sim's? I believe that the hardware is no problem. The only restriction is by software.

I can be wrong but as i know, there are different gsm modem inside. This should be the reason why!

Surprisingly it's branded Lex728 instead of Lex720.
Does anybody know the difference?
More important: Is it SW compatible (Rom/TWRP) to X720?
EUI seems newish: 5.9.020S

Hi mike. I think its compatible. Look at the rom of tora at leeco.ru forums. Its compatible with the x720,x727 and x728. I bought one of this but it didnt arrive. I think one more week to arrive.

No B20, that sucks. And for the same price as a x720 I imagine...

and network signal guru showed the use of Band20 ?!?

I have this phone since yesterday.
The real bands of the phone are LTE 1, 3, 7.
I flashed other roms like Grossoshop, Tora, Turbo and in the signal guru app appear all the bands, like 4, 20, etc.
The problem is im in a country with band 4 and the phone never worked with LTE. Only 3G.
I think this phone didnt have the hardware for work in LTE 4, 20, etc.
If you will buy a lepro3 buy x727, x720 or x722. Never x728

It could be modem matter. Maybe changing the modem (it's a software driver) with one that will enable band 4 (from Lex 720 or 727) you might solve the problem. Try asking an experienced developer, I think it can help you easily!

I tried that. With x727 modem--- no simcard detected.
With x720 modem---simcard detected but only 3G.
I think its more that a hardware limitation.

So does it have band 20 or not...
It is currently sold on banggood (x728 version) and they say it has band20 and all the bands x720 has. Does ROMs for x720 work on x728 ?

Roms for Lex 720 are working for Lex 727 and 728 (same hardware). If something related to specific model is not working as you expected (2 sim support or band/modem related) is to see case by case and (perhaps) there is a solution searching in this forum. Cheeers!

Im in argentina too and never work the 4G. Are you sure that you have a x728? Where did you buy it?

I am sure, is x728, i buy used phone, i change rom to official x720 and work 4g pretty good with that

I tried that. The x720 rom, the x727 with no luck.

I do not know friend, maybe your unit came defective, mine is x728 I put the official rom 26s and raises the 4g without problems, probe with personal and Claro and any issues.

Oneplus 5 issue with h+ network

Hello, i m from italy and i ve problem with h+ Connection.
Before, i had an oneplus 3t and there aren t problems with mi sim operator.
I switched with oneplus 5 and the Connection freeze in h+ for 15/30 second. Then work for 15 second and stops again. Like an infinite loop.
With 4g no problem.
This is an oneplus 5 problem, because i had the same sim and same carrier on 3t and works very well.
4.5.8 version.
Any hint?

No idea, but I am having the same issue with Youfone in the netherlands. In 2 weeks i get 4G,so I hope the problem goes away. With my 3T (sold) I did not have this problem either, like you mentioned.

Did you contact OnePlus directly, via the forum or customer support? Otherwise don't expect to be heard or recognized by those who are responsible in any way

I'm from Ukraine and has got some issues with h+ networks there. I am using 2 sim: Vodafone and Lifecell
When compared to my old HTC Desire S and Xiaomi Mi5: i see much more lag, ping (no internet at all, when other devices have it with the same ISP ) when using 3g. Firstly internet works via 3g flawlessly then stops working at all for 5-40 seconds.
I've got this problem only on 1+5.

Im on TIM too no problems here, maybe your sim cards are old?

Oh really? I sometimes get it on LTE too. I can see the network activity markers moving but it just hangs. It sorts itself out eventually lol

Yes. I was using S4 before there was no issue like this but i didnt test custom roms yet it may related with hardwares or softwares. wish its software.

I've noticed this also this week, I am however roaming in the USA and both T-Mobile and at&t h+ aren't connecting well.

I am at TURKEY and i have a same issue at my Op5 china variant, i hope fıx the problem on next Update.

Same issue with T-Mobile/Telekom Germany.

i got my Redmi Note 7 Global Version from honorbuy on Tuesday and i really like it. I'm living in Germany and have one big problem
with my phone, i have a bad connectivity/reception and many incoming calls dont work. Other people can't reach me, even if
there is one stripe at 4G Connectivity. I also don't get a reminder of a "tried call". Sorry for me english, i hope you can understand
this.
I have the correct APN Settings and even tried my old smartphone (Mate 9) and there is no problem with calls. If i call someone
else with the Note 7 it is no problem, but he cant call me back, this is very strange. It doesn ring and the guy whos tries to call
me just gets an info "No reachable at the moment". Do you have any ideas what could help or
is it maybe even damaged or a software issue ?

I dunno much about Germany but I have the Chinese version in America on Cricket and the Signal is phenomenal. Try to move around. Did u check your lte bands before purchase?

thanks for your response. Yes, i checked the bands and the global version supports german bands (20). I reseted the smartphone and now it seems that it works. Maybe it was also just an issue of the provider, i changed the
connectionen to the provider.
