SM-N935F Recovery E:failed to find /misc partition - Samsung Galaxy Note FE Questions & Answers

Hi,
Galaxy FE started acting very strange after 1 week when I bought it: shutdown by itself and after reboot said that PIN-number was wrong.
So... Factory reset. And now we are here:
No Suppport SINGLE-SKU
Supported API:3
dm-verity error...
failed code : 0x02
E:failed to find /misc partition
EDIT: "E:failed to find /misc partition" showed up right after factory reset.
Using Oding, everything goes PASS, but after rebooting phone gives error (blue screen, Bugdroid dead) or bootloop to Android recovery (depending which PDA using) .
Internet, Google, mom, or Satan don´t give anything useful. I´m hoping that somebody here would known how to safe me from Samsung customer service loop. I´m expat in Thailand, buy phone from here and Samsung shop said at least 4 weeks waiting time if leaving the phone on their hands....

You can't do anything yourself. If odin doesn't help, it's a motherboard issue. You have to let your phone to the customer service...

[Q] Galaxy Tab 7" Won't boot

Hi everyone. I know this form is regarding the 10" model but I didn't see a forum for the 7" model. I am having trouble with a SCH-I800 7" tablet. The SKU = SCHI800BKV and it was purchased through Verizon but I believe it is a WiFi only model.
I can't get the device to boot past the Verizon splash screen and can't do a wipe data/factory reset from the Android System Recovery. When I first boot into the Recovery, I get many red lines indicating "failed to mount, can't open, can't mount, etc." to various file paths. It also says in yellow "Manual Mode".
When I try to perform the factory data reset, i get several red errors that say "failed to mount /preload (No such file or directory)" or format volume: "rfs format failed on /dev/block/mmcblk0p2". This is indicating to me that the recovery section of the device is damaged itself. I tried to download various recoveries and flash from the SD card to no avail, including one that was supposed to be "stock". It begins but then I get the triangle with the ! I don't care about rooting or using custom ROM's, I would just like to get it working again.
Any ideas would be great help!

Encryption lock screen, not booting after password || E: failed to clear bcb massage

Hi Everyone,
My phone asked for update then after update was complete it got turned on and it booted up to the encryption lock screen where it says to start up your device, enter your pin. So I enter my pin and then its says, "verified" and then "starting android". and then a padlock appears on the screen, it opens, and there's like a load up circle going around it. At first, I let the phone sit to see if it would do anything but after an hour, I figured something is wrong. I dont know why this happened. I don't want to have to factory reset and lose all my pictures and data. I can boot into recovery mode but sometimes when i turn it on it shows a screen that says installing update and has like a google ring looking thing that should be spinning around but it looks like its glitching out, after that screen it will go to a no command screen, and then it will eventually reach recovery mode but all I can see is:
#fail to open recovery_cause(no such file or directory)#
#Reboot Recovery Cause is [UNKNOWN]#
No Support SINGLE-SKU
File-Based OTA
Supported API: 3
# MANUAL MODE v1.0.0#
Successfully verified dmverity hash tree
E:Failed to clear BCB Message: failed to find / misc partition.
I have tried safty mode, but this also didn't helped. I really hope someone can help or knows what is going on because, I really dont want to lose all my pictures.
Thanks you.

You can try and downgrade the update, but I cannot say for sure if it will wipe your phone. You can go back to recovery and in the yellow font area look for G935P. That will have your firmware version and if you go to sam mobile you can look for the version before it. Flash it with odin and you might be able to boot up again. Data recovery is hard when the phone is encrypted.
Good luck!
same problem ... i just update my phone in latest oreo via OTA and it never open stock in samsung s7 edge name... i coudnt downgrde it always failed in odin.. any soultion please..
did u manage to solve it ? i have same problem

i have same problem i guess but my phone keeps reabooting after failing to autoenter the recovery

Mi Note 2 Brick/Broken eMMC?

Dear users, some time ago during some web searching, my device screen has turned off and phone gets froze. Then I forced it to reboot but it finished with bootloop. When I boot device in twrp it looks like it doesn't have an internal memory I tried almost everything to flash anything, repair, erase, format etc.. (fastboot/adb/windroid/spflashtool/flashtool/mitool) always gets the same response: "flash write failure" or "failed to write partition". Is there any other software method to resolve this issue or I have no other way than send device to professional service to replace damaged component(s)?

Need urget assistance

Hey all.
I've created a problem with my S8, don't know what to do from here.
Simply put, i had the encryption before booting on, always worked fine. I also clear the phones cache once a year.
I went into recovery, and cleared the cache partition, then on reboot it just keeps rebooting, shows the S8 screen, goes black, buzzes twice and repeats.
I've tried factory resetting in recovery, which worked, but still bootlooping. (At the bottom of the Recovery Menu, i also see the message: dm-verity verification failed)
I called Samsung about the issue, they told me to take it to the nearest authorized repair facility, which i did and they said it would be hardware without even diagnosing it. So i took it back home, and tried a few things myself, i loaded up Odin, with the exact firmware version i am on, and it will unpack it all, but always fail. Odin sees the phone fine, and download mode works. Ill provide a picture of it for reference below.
tl;dr cleared cache, sent it into bootloop, tried repair shop and flashing with odin, no avail.
Not looking to void warranty or trip anything also. It is out of its one year warranty period of course, but i've had Samsung honour a S7edge screen and battery at about 1.8 year out of warranty.
Whats my best option? Is the encryption lock preventing Odin from flashing? I have the code, as it is my phone, wondering if there is another way to enter it as the prompt won't come up due to the bootloop
