Don’t you mean soft brick? You cannot fix a bricked device that’s the whole meaning of the word brick.
What did you do to get in the current situation? Have you tried flashing the stock firmware?

Yeah, you can call it Soft bricked.
a friend tried to root it as far as i can understand it... ending up in this mess, as i am the "Phone guy" around (we all know this problem) i ended up being the "save my phone" guy (again).
i'm used to deal with 9008 mode and flashing it, but the LGE mode is "new" to me.
after another short search i see LGFlashTool might work but can't find DLL for the K520K.

LGE In device manager is a driver and that’s what’s needed for flashing stock firmware. Do you have the phone in download mode? That’s what shows in device manager when phone is in download mode.
So you already have the TOT file? Dll files are not needed when you use LGUP

What about kdz? I thought you found a tot since you asked for a dll file.
Blank screen is not good. As you would need to be in download mode to flash any firmware.

Dear u haven't hard bricked ur phone. U just soft bricked it, don't panic it's just a part of learning process. Follow the offline method, enter into download mode by plugging the phone while pressing volume up, install the tot file everything will be all right.
I personally soft bricked it as same as you and recovered using offline method or u can recover ur phone using lg mobile support tool it will install custom OS back.

there is a 2ndary dll file you can download if having issues. Follow directions exactly here
If you can still access download mode you have not HARD BRICKED
**************EDITED at 10:53am Pacific Standard Time**************

[UPDATED][10/23/2014] Bricked to the Bone D801 (T-Mobile LG G2)

LG D801 (T-Mobile) Bricked[/U][/B]
The device has been bricked and is in this condition:
Download mode shows as dots and is not recognized by Windows (only occasionally as "Unknown Device")
No custom recovery (it has been wiped in fastboot)
No ROM (system was wiped)
It makes a nice paperweight
Click to collapse
This device does not allow fastboot, unless there is a software issue (which I cannot purposely cause without ADB in a custom recovery).
I have tried every set of drivers on Windows 7 Ultimate (64 bit) and am unable to change the COM port to 41 because the device isn't recognized at all (it was being recognized last night, but the version of Windows I have didn't have ANY options to change the COM serial port).
No, a rooting method will not work (I'm a Recognized Developer, so trust me).
I have Linux and Windows 7 dual-booting.
I have used everything [URL="http://storagecow.eu/index.php?dir=Xda%2FLG+G2%2FStock%2F"]HERE

Click to collapse
.
I have also tried THIS driver method (when the device was actually visible on Windows, but the driver never successfully installed).
I manually repartitioned the device using this method on Ubuntu, but accidentally used the stock recovery image.
I am trying to use this method, for Windows, with no luck (because of the phone not being recognized on Windows).
I have tried a friend's desktop with no luck. I have used different USB ports and cables, as well.
Any help at all would be greatly appreciated. Especially if I could somehow trigger fastboot.

I need a miracle here, haha.
Your download mode works if there are no blue circles when you start it.
Try installing ubuntu, knoppix etc under vmware and see if it gives you any errors.
also under windows watch the devices under device manager.

Oh if his download mode is just hanging at the loading screen but never gets to the loading circle it's most definitely a goner, considering his recovery hangs that probably confirms he dd'ed the wrong bootstack.
@MikeCriggs Check if you have fastboot mode when you try loading recovery or download mode (as the bootloader's fallback) - if not you need to RMA. No big deal I've killed 2 so far via bootloadery mischief.

Hi everyone, I have a big problem on my phone (SM-N910F) does not start even in download / recovery mode, the screen is off. I think it's a "hard brick."
All I can see now in device manager is Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 (COM7).
Is there any possibility to bring my phone back into download mode? Please help me !!!

Well lets start by telling us what you did to the phone to get you where you are. And, what model is the N910F?
EDIT: is the "F" version for Europe?

Thank you, I own a Samsung Galaxy Note 4, model SM-N910F for Europe.
I used a zip package to run a script via TWRP. The script was erasing some applications(bloatware) from rom. After the script was executed, I forgot to execute a wipe data/cache/factory and my phone was started to boot. After touchwiz was initialised, 3 seconds later my phone froze. Then I removed the battery and...here I am.
My computer is able to detect the phone(i can see in device manager Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 (COM7) but Odin is unable to see any phone connected.
I've already tried an USB JIG but nothing...
I found an interesting thing, I can connect to the phone using QPST, please find attached a screenshot(Capture1.png). Here I found an option named Software Download. I've clicked this option and i can see: COM7 Phone in Download Mode. Please look at the attached picture Capture3. Here I can see two options: Phone Image and Boot image. Can I upload some specific boot image to unbrick my phone?
Click to collapse
Not sure I can help you but you may be using a corrupted program, QPST. See here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2263391
When the phone is hooked up to the charger do you get a charging indication on the LED? Is the battery charged or at least have some charge left on it?
Have you removed the battery and then tried to boot. If not give that a try. The only other recommendation I can offer since I've never used QPST and I don't know what script you ran to remove bloatware so I can't tell what it potentially did is to try to recover your phone through Kies (Samsung software). I seldom recommend Kies and have never used it myself since I have an unlocked bootloader, but if Kies recognizes your phone there may be hope. Good luck.

Judging by the screenshots i would say its windows.
That said, I don't think I have any more ideas to add to the solutions already suggested.
You might wanna try your luck with z3x box or visit samsung service center.. that's all there's left to add.
