Honor 7X video review
Here is my video review of the Honor 7X

I had a hard time choosing between Mi A1 and Honor 7x. Been a Fan of Stock Android I thought of getting mi a1 for better updates and development since kernel Sources were released by Xiaomi yet I chose honor 7x over mi a1.
Reasons :
Speaking of Battery:
Me Being a hard core user I get around 5-6 Sot that double Sot what I used to get on my 1+2.
Camera:
I am not huge fan of photography on Phones yet this thing has hell lot of Filter in it.
That Gyroscope Update:
It was turning point for many people for not getting this phone that lack of Gyroscope sensor but we received an update which did bring it back.
Build Quality:
Aesthetic :
Many People Say it looks a bit like an iPhone from the back but I totally disagree with it. I love it so much that even though I bought rugged case for protection I feel like to use phone without it.
Strength:
Even though it has those 2.5D Glass over the front I have seen many dropping test videos it survived like a warrior.
Development:
Initially I thought it wouldn't be any development any or such On this Device yet I see Twrp , Root , a freaking Oreo Rom out so early.
Our thing I really like about honor is that take any company phone you'll see hell lot of difference between its main flagship and Budget device yet here it's different story you do get same 18:9 ratio as flagship one same resolution ( v10) Even bigger screen than flagship one just Processor upgrade and camera there's nothing much more you missed in its budget segment.
I must say Honor 7x is surely a flagship Killer.
All I want further is more development

Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus smartphone released at $125

I have heard nice news that Lenovo has announced Lenovo Vibe K5 plus smartphone to sell at $125. I can’t believe this kind of price. It’s so cheap. But how about the specs?
It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 Octa core processor, and it has RAM 2GB, it has 5inch FHD IPS screen. As for its camera, it has 13mp rear camera. And it has 5mp front camera. It support dual sim card, dual standby. And it has 2,700mAh battery, which can support long time working.
It has three colors. Graphite Gray,*Platinum Silver, and Champagne Gold, which will be officially announced on March 23. So what do you think of this smartphone? Will it really sell at $125 , or even higher.?
Don’t forget to share with me.

Seems like the honor 5x slightly iPhone ish body but same specs. If that price is right and if the screen is of same quality as the 5x then that's a bargain. I bought the 5x because my HTC one m9 died from suicide.. But I've been very happy with the performance the camera and battery really surprised me aswell as the screen I think the screen is beautiful compared to the m9 everyone know the camera sucked on it so i feel like it was a upgrade for 200 not a downgrade. Hope that helps especially since specs are almost identical to each other.

Another Xiaomi Redmi 3 contender!
i like this design, looks like a phone worth much more than the price tag, great specs aswell.
Lenovo have some good phones Anyway i like this phone cuz it have snapdragon )
It's going to be great, but if you ask me I would say that $180 seems more reasonable price. $125 is too cheap for this kind of smartphone

Huawei has exposed Huawei Honor 8 smartphone with 5.2inch screen

Huawei has officially released Huawei Honor V8, but it’s rumored that Huawei Honor 8 will be coming soon with 5.2inch screen. Right now according to the information by ministry of industry, Huawei has the model, CAM-TL00H to be confirmed to obtain network access license. So a lot of people think it is possible the smartphone is Huawei Honor 8.

From various aspects exposed, thiis CAM-TL00H smartphone is very likely to be the Huawei Honor 8, and it’s said Huawei Honor 8 is in preparation, even the design of the smartphone is more beautiful and exquisite than Huawei Honor V8. In addition, it’s different model from Honor V8.
Some peoples claim that Honor 8 is not the lower version of Honor V8, but also flagship smartphone prepared by Huawei, they will have difference in its screen size. And Honor 8 will come with 5.2inch screen and other specs are similar to Honor V8, but Honor 8 is built in one camera. In the other word, if you like 5.5inch screen dual camera, you can choose Huawei Honor V8, but if you are into 5.2inch screen, Huawei Honor 8 is a good choice.
As for the released time, Huawei Honor 8 will come out officially in June, but the price will be at least 1999 yuan. Although the news has not been confirmed, if the model CAM-TL00 is Huawei Honor 8, Huawei will promote its new model soon according to the Honor official marketing strategy.

What's even greater, is the fact it has the same dual camera found on the p9 (one RGB and the other is Monochrome)

best bang for buck!
Was first sure on getting the Huawei P20 lite, then the Nova 3i, then now this appeared!
It's amazing! My only hatred is with the EMUI itself.
Honor 8X the 6.5-inch Fullview Display
Emmmmmm I really appreciate this new feature.

love the design and value for money, hate the restrictive nature and bloatness of EMUI, overall score 7.5 out of 10, considering it is a late 2018 mid ranger.
Just received it this week following a discount on Amazon, it is great. It is absolutely mid-range (I have been playing with my friend iPhone XS max and obviously there is a big gap).
Design is beautiful (I have the blue one, looking very good) and screen is as well beautiful in size although I come from AMOLED and the difference is noticeable. But I bet I'll get used to it.
Battery is as promised, 1,5 day for my 2 first cycles with quite intensive usage (that was my 2 main criteria for this purchase - big screen and long lasting battery).
Everything else is smooth and fine, so far I do not understand very well all the criticism about the photocamera. It seems really ok to me, and I have not been playing around will all the settings available yet.
I don't like very much EMUI, but ok, it is fine as well, the delta with normal android is not that big.
One feature I will definitely miss from my good old Nexus 6 was the fast charging (80% in 30mn!) and the wireless charging (I had wireless chargers spread across home and office and that used to be very convenient, never had to plug it anymore). Here charging is a raw and slow process....
But hey, for 265€ !!! The delivery is quite amazing.
So to stay on topic, true love is there! I suspect it will not be a very long lasting true love (as it has been with my Nexus 6, after 4 years together) but let's enjoy a medium term relationship for that price tag
The Honor 8X is the kind of phone you might buy if you want one that looks new, with all the latest design cues, but don’t want to spend a huge amount of money. That the front is almost all screen is the Honor 8X’s star feature. Switch it on, in late 2018 at least, and it looks similar to an 800$ phone. According to me these three key features make this phone worth buy!
-All-screen front, glass back and metal frame
-Good 1080 x 2340 screen
-Mid-range CPU is biggest sign that this isn't a flagship
in full love with this phone

Going to buy the Exynos and not sure anymore

Hi guys today im going to buy the S10+ Exynos and after reading all the bad things about the battery and camera im not sure anymore.
Is the battery life on idle going to be fixed? Is the lower quality of camera in the Exynos version is going to be fixed too?
Between the OnePlus 7 pro and the S10+ Exynos which would you choose?
Oneplus has had the worst camera of any major smartphone brand for several years running which is why the XDA section for every OnePlus phone has very active threads about using various builds of the ported Google Pixel Camera--you can't take even decent pictures on a OnePlus phone without a ported camera app.
If photography is your concern considering a OnePlus phone is a joke.
Anyone who has owned a OnePlus phone over the last few years should also know that standby battery drain is a frequent problem on their phones--especially after any OTA update.
The only advantage the OnePlus phone will have is if you want to run a custom ROM because there will be more ROMs available for their phones--but since developers stopped using OnePlus phones after the 3T model the ROMs are computer compiled with virtually no testing and always have bugs (sometimes major ones) even when they are labeled as stable.
My vote isn't for the OnePlus phone in case that isn't obvious enough.
I have both a 7 pro and a S10+. I find myself reaching for the 7 pro a lot more. Oxygen OS is just lightweight and fast, you can expect bi monthly updates for atleast 2 years.
Oneplus has pushed several updates for the camera and I find the camera solid. You can get better results with installing gcam but a lot of S10 owners do the same.
I just took delivery of a 10+ Exynos and the camera is excellent in my opinion.

I'd highly recommend the S10+.
I moved from an iPhone 8 plus and don't regret it. Battery life is amazing and the camera is amazing as well. No issues here.
I recall seeing a setting somewhere on my S10+ for a battery save option that learns your usage patterns and helps get the best battery life. Battery optimiser I think it was. Not sure how good it is though. Never needed it.
Can't argue with the points about the OnePlus 7 Pro either. Tested one in store and the experience was buttery smooth. The 90hz display makes a ton of difference.
In the end, I felt OxygenOS on the OnePlus was too simplistic for me after using the S10+ first. Just my personal opinion though. If I hadn't tried the S10 first I probably would have went OnePlus

Part 5: Conclusion (OPPO Find X5 Product Review from the Land Down Under)

For the past couple of weeks, my SIM Card has been inserted into a new OPPO Find X5 (Black, 256GB on-board storage, 8GB RAM, and Model CPH2037), which I received from OPPO (thank you for the OPPOrtunity!), as one of their 20 global OPPO Product Ambassadors. It has become my daily driver, and replaces my previous OPPO Find X3 Pro. The following are my views and opinion only.
In real life, I enjoy Smart Phone technology, and manage all of my online presence (including my twitter (more than 181,000 tweets so far), Instagram and LinkedIn accounts), directly from my Smart Phone.
I’ve broken down my OPPO Find X5 Product Review into shorter sections, which makes it either easier to read everything, or perhaps you may just jump to the topics that are important to you:
Summary
Build Quality and Design, and Overall Performance
Camera Performance and Other Performance Features
Best ColorOS Features and Battery Review
Conclusion (you are here)
Conclusion:
The OPPO Find X5 is a premium phone and for me a worthy successor to the Find X3 Pro. It looks different to its competitors by having an organically shaped camera housing which is not the normal rectangular slab. It feels sturdy, not bulky and sits nicely balanced, cradled in your hands for hours at a time.
I have been enjoying getting accustomed to the cameras’ performance, and now night time photography and videography is “a thing” for me. The Marisilicon X NPU and the AI takes a lot of guesswork out for me, and I can now point and shoot without much hesitation, knowing full well, the majority of photos will be of high quality, and of use to me for my social media posts.
I am now becoming accustomed to allowing my Find X5’s battery run down over a normal day, knowing a full charge is a Cup of Coffee and an Almond Croissant time away (with the 80W SUPERVOOC wall charger). Peace of mind, finally.
I thoroughly enjoyed my OPPO Find X3 Pro, and used it for the longest time of any smartphone I’ve owned, but I feel the OPPO Find X5’s fit and feel, finish, smooth performance and intelligent camera system (complete with standalone Marisilicon X NPU) will be my go-to smartphone for a whole lot longer.

Thank you to the OPPO Team and to the Members of the XDA Forums, for providing me this chance to present my real life review.
Thank you for taking the time to read my Real Life Product Review of the OPPO Find X5. I welcome any questions you may have (noting I'm not an experience Tech Reviewer), and if I cannot answer them, I will seek the answer from either another OPPO Product Ambassador, or from the OPPO Team.
