Touch Latency, Touch Sensitivity? - Xiaomi Mi Note 2 Questions & Answers

I owned a Xiamoi Mi5 and It had a anoying "touch latency" or "touch sensitivity", that we could notice when you quicly move the finger along the screen and the phone took some extras miliseconds to follow in comparission with other phones. Do the Mi Note 2 have the same issue?

No dude , the touch works perfectly , it's the most touch sensitive phone i've owned till now.

Touchscreen leaking?

Hello!
I had my Touch Dual for about 1 year... now it's time to say goodbye
It started with a small stain on the touchscreen... It was about 1mm in diameter when i recognized it. Back then the touchscreen was still working. This stain was since then growing and one day the touch screen didn't work anymore... it behaves like if I had my finger always pressed on the screen in that area. The rest of the area is still responsive, but it is impossible to control where it detects the tap.
Also it is extremely slow. When a call comes in, it takes about 20 seconds from the screen switching on till I can start to talk... so I'm missing most calls.
Just try using the phone while never releasing a specific point on the screen
The stain is still growing... Its now 9.6mm. I think the liquid inside is leaking at the border of the screen.
See the picture I attached!
Now I got myself the Touch HD which is a really great device! (I made that picture with the Touch HD 5Mpx camera)
I only hope this one will not start leaking after 1 year!
best regards!
Daniel

[Q] Milestone 2 Strange Touch Screen Problem

I've just got the Milestone 2 for 5 days and now I realize the very strange and annoying problem of the touch screen. When I played some FPS game like Nova or Sandstom, sometimes when I tried to aim the character didn't aim the way that I aim but he move that way even I did not touch the virtual move pad. I used the Touch Screen test apps to test. First I touch and hold my 1st finger to have 1st point, then I touch my 2nd finger to have 2nd point. Then I leave my 1st finger so there would be the 2nd point left on the screen but when I use my 1st finger to touch the screen, my 2nd point change to 1st point and at my 1st finger phosition is the 2nd point. It's mean 2 point had changed their position to each other and that's why that strange thing happened when I play the game. The Milestone 1 doesn't have this problem in the game and when using the Test app the 2nd point still remain at my 2nd position after my 1st finger retouch the screen. Is this a firmware bug or there is any problem with my hardware ? Please help me.
Motorola Milestone 2 touch screen problem
Dude, try with a screen protector, problem should disappear. I also met identical problem with my Droid 2 but I detected just after 3 days of bought, so the seller has changed the new phone for me and now its ok.
For easily showing problem, you can download a paint soft with full screen ability, start it and then do some quick swipe across the screen, you will see the strange undesired streaks appear somewhere on screen
Man, I'm using the screen protector too. The screen just fine when using single touch but it will act funny when using multi touch like play game. Mine is not the only one, my girl friend milestone 2 has this problem too. I though this is a software failure not the hardware. Just play Nova or Sandstom with the Ms 2 and you will see the problem.

[Q] TouchScreen Problem

Hello
I have 2 months old LG Nexus 4 and I have a problem with touch screen. These is a field in a buttom of the screen whitch is not reacting on touch. I ca touch it 100 times and nofthing happens it is not respondint to anything even harder touches.
so the field is here
shrani.najdi.si/?2k/2D/4dhib9sI/screenshot2012-11-04-14-.jpg
under these field and above is screen working normaly. now i want to know if is these maybe a softwere bug or is these a hardwer one and i should take the phone on the serverice, btw the phone never fall or anything else.
Thank you for advices.
Try going to developer options, enabling here "Pointer Location" and then swype across the screen a few times so there will be a long blue line (it's important to move your finger on the screen near that faulty place). If your finger suddenly stops drawing that blue line then it's definitely a hardware problem.

Touchscreen behavior observed

was a while since i was here last time.
Congrats to devs for switchroot, bought switch just to flash there android.
in description of known bugs there is a phantom touches sometimes, thats not actually true. The touch is oversensitive.
i installed pixelstarships and immediately noticed that its not random , its always present
In game if you want to look more the right, you just touch and swipe it to hte direction and your cam moves.
You see, if you want to select something (room / crew..) you just point at it with finger and touch. However this is not the case, cause your finger is detected much sooner and instead of selecting something ,you for split of a second will do "touch and hold" , efectively moving cam around few millimiters. Your finger is ALWAYS detected like 1-2mm above the touch screen (i learned how to touch without touching, it took sometime...)
Hope it will get fixed in next release.

It's already known that the issue with touch is the internal resolution is 1080p. An example of this is the boot screen when Android first starts. 1080p on a 720p display = inaccurate touch.

have no idea of inacurate touch (did not had this issue) , i m talking about that "touch" got detected before the actual touch.
But good to know,

Regarding touch issue

My realme 2 pro device has touch lag on both sides of screen, succesive touch never respond on side of the panel, even after changing the display of the device, i also have made a video showing the same, but don't know where to post it and how to get resolution
