WHO has the biggest? Antutu Score ͡° ͜ʖ ͡° - Xiaomi Mi MIX Guides, News, & Discussion

Hi All, just thought I'd create a thread showing my highest AnTuTu score with Mi Mix.
Mi Mix: 6 GB / 256 GB
ROM: Epic Global ROM 8.2.1.0 (Stable)
Notes: used HEBF Optimizer, Greenify und Xposed Bootmanager
AnTuTu Score: 157.392
I'd be interested to see what other people are managing to squeeze out of their Mi Mix on either the same Epic or different Roms?

Hi,
I am currently sitting on ~122k with the lineage rom.
Can you give a bit more of details regarding your optimisations?
Thank you and best Regards

Basic system infos:
- Epic Global ROM 8.2.1.0 (Stable)
- Rooted (SuperSu Pro v2.79-SR2 and BusyBox Pro v35)
- Xposed framework v87 (with 11 active modules)
- User Apps installed: 263
- System Apps installed: 192
Things done for the benchmark test:
- Greenify App: all apps, except SuperSu, BusyBox, AnTuTu, HEBF Optimizer, BootManager (Xposed module)
- BootManager: all apps, except BusyBox, Greenify, HEBF Optimizer, SuperSu, Kernel Adiutor
- Kernel Adiutor: CPU-Governor: Performance, CPU-Boost Intervall: 10ms
- HEBF Optimizier: Apply on boot: FSTRIM, and Performance: all, except rendering and ui tweaks
Before you start:
- turn screen off and wait some minutes. To complete (and greenify) all background processes.
- put the phone in the refrigerator for 5-10 minutes. No joke! A cold processor delivers the most power.
Then start AnTuTu immediately and hope the best.

And a little more
AnTuTu Score: 159.448

Here mine
This is mine
163185

Here is mine 158.446
MiMix 4GB 128GB,

We need a new kernel and Android 7
Then perhaps 170.000 - 190.000 points would be possible

Custom Kernel need.

If you want good speed and optimized kernal the do not use the Lineage ROM . It was a quick port and is not at all optimized for the Mi Mix hardware.
I get at least 150 000 on Antutu even after running it 10x in a row.

Hey Guys,
I am currently using the latest EPIC ROM and I tried the governor change even that additional Application... and still I cannot pass 120000 points... the heck am I doing wrong?

I'm facing also to this joke currently (I have 111000 points).
It's just curious, why an amazing phone can shows a "low" benchmark result, I didn't make any optimizations... Till now I never had lagging or others so this score just make me laugh.

Well I did figure it out now I got 160860~ Points.
In order to do that :
- Set the CPU governor to ondemand
- Clean everything from the memory
- Put the phone into the fridge.... it is really that sensitive so if the device is really cool, you will get more points.

Hey. Actually if an optimized and cooled Mix gets 160k score, you shouldn't be caring your own scores if you're able to say there is no lagging etc. If you put your phone into the fridge, you get 160k lol. What is this for? Instead put some ice cream with chocolate sauce on the cpu and enjoy watching the sundown and high scores ha! [emoji38] [emoji1] Don't get me wrong, of course i also would love to see my score on top but no point of it unless you live in Grœnland. Your device gets hot in your pocket and whilst usage and you may get -50k less score. So; 'nothing else matters' if it performs good. Have a lovely day.

It is nice to know that the mobile phone runs better in winter.
And it is nice to show a Samsung Galaxy S7 oder Google Pixel owner the highscore.
In the end, it is just a nice fun to see what is possible..

Scores of our Shield Tablet in Antutu

Hello there!
I've got an idea to make a post-poll to see what scores Antutu Benchmark is giving us in the Shield Tablet on any ROM, like CM11, Stock, etc.
Mine (WiFi-only model) got 53.844 points, with the latest stock firmware (1.2.1) and Antutu Benchmark 5.1.. Also, it was set to Max. Performance mode..
I also made a video, you can check it here:
What are your best scores with the Shield Tablet?
(And sorry for my bad english lol)
Of course, I didn't mentioned it, but It'd be nice to compare scores between roms, so, if you're using a different rom than stock, like CM11, please post it, so that we know which rom has best performance

The ROM that has the highest Antutu score, and the ROM that has the best performance could (most probably) be different. It's been proven time and time again that benchmarks mean little when it comes to real world performance.

always one guy that just has to remind us that benchmarks don't necessarily mean your going to have a good experience across the board, yeah bud, we know, this is XDA, it's fun to benchmark, get over it. [rant off]

Here's a recent one on mine. I want to hit 65k but that will likely require a GPU OC among other optimizations.

I completely disagree with this without meaning to be rude because every person suffers from confirmation bias and "self benchmarking" is one area where it effects everybody greatly.
To the extent that people can have very different experiences on exactly the same hardware and software as a matter of routine - and no one can know that it has ocurred since it's automatic.
Benchmarks are the in fact the only way to measure objectively IME and opinion.
This is certainly not to say that anyone has a better or worse experience though as you point out, that i agree with.

53000 would be quite a challenge I believe. Here is my one last attempt with stock.
Getting closer to 53000 but I think an extra 800 points without OC will be a bit of a stretch.

Depends on many factors.... a few are:
1. Devices vary and asv_group (explanation in SkyHigh kernel synapse). Mine is a mediocre 4.
2. Starting temp
3. Running background processes
4. OC can lead to earlier throttle and hence reduced benchmark.
5. Available RAM

5. My god even after debloating and freezing all unwanted proccesses the phone still requires 2GB or ram to run at all times and at max I only have less than 1GB of free ram. I feel like this is taking a hit on the scores too. My G3 I had it down to 1.3GB used RAM so effectively had about 1.7GB free at max. What could be taking up so much RAM at all times.

I had the G3 Cat.6 with SD805 and noticed very disappointing scores stock. The G3 also had very aggressive thermal throttling and the SD805 was a very hot running chip.
Once I got everything debloated and thermal turned off it hit almost 48,000.
I know that the S5 prime had better scores than the Cat.6 due to much better thermals and would expect the same out of the Note.
Try rooting and debloating your phone if you want to experiment and disable DVFS for better scores.
I also place my phone by an open window as it's -10 degrees Celsius now and low temp gives great boosts to your scores.

I've been rooted for almost a month now, but haven't gotten around to debloating since there isn't a need to. My phone flies. The only hesitation I see is if I actually use the menu key to see the task manager. Since I have the manager on my Edge bar I rarely even do that.
Debloating might be in my future just to see if I can finally reach that 6 hour screen on time. This phone has very few wake locks which has surprised me.

Very low benchmark scores.

Hello,
The title says all.
I am getting very low benchmark scores.
In geekbench3: 1200 in single core and 2300 in multi core..
AnTuTu: 44506
What i have done to the moto x style:
unlocked bootloader
Installed supersu and xposed.
Factory reset already done.
Performance seems not that bad actually.
But the scores tells me otherwise.

If your performance feels good in real world use, why do you need some benchmark to tell you otherwise?
I am on aicp and put xclark kernel to perfromance and got 48k, before i had it on interactive and hotplug on eco performance. No difference felt how device performed.

I have been using it as my daily,
Only one issue that has caused some concerns is that, if you lose the phone signal and you are on gsm,
it switches to cdma and then acts like you don't have a sim card...It can take reboots and hours for it to
return to gsm. However this hasn't happened to me for 5 days now with the newer builds.
My phone hardly ever heats up much with cm12.1...and I DON"T use any processor tweaks.

that video goes to exactly show you why benchmarks don't mean anything
I hate apple, but Apple definitely got it right by saying it is not always all about "hardware specs" and it's more of a coexisting relationship between the hardware and software that is more important.
Samsung definitely has the superior hardware, but their ****ty TouchWiz screws it all up

Benchmark score dropped!

Hi I'm highly satisfied with my oneplus 5 and I like to show off my benchmark scores. Recently my benchmark has only been around a little over 150k when I use to score 185k sometimes 190k. Anyone know why this is? I do have xposed framework installed but I even switched my Rom and tested it and still got only 155k. I don't notice any drops in performance I would just like to know what the issue may be. Thanks guys

Hey,
Your processor scores significantly less than it should, usually it scores around 40000 on the oneplus 5.
Maybe it's underclocked?
Please upload a screenshot with more details, like this one:
Best regards,
Most probably the highest frequency of big.little is stuck at an lower frequency. Go to developer options in ROM and turn on overscale CPU usage, then run Antutu again and see what's the highest frequency(s) you got while running. If it doesnt go above 2457mhz (cluster 2) than it makes sense why your score is low. Also check your "i/o" scheduler and "read ahead buffer size" in your kernel tweak app. This can also affect your score.
Besides all this, don't run Antutu with low battery this affects the score for sure.

I wouldn't get too caught up in the whole benchmarks thing. They don't always translate to real world performance; I would rather show off my phone's snappy interface (i.e. quick app loading, navigating menus, etc.)
I personally think that's worth showing off more than just numbers that appear on an app!
Just my two cents though, you're free to disagree and do what makes you happy of course

Yea I don't notice any less performance so I'm not too worried about it. I do wonder how my big cluster got set to 1.9 ghz tho as I haven't messed with the tuning of my kernel seems to try to set it as default. But like I said I have xposed, a couple of audio mods, and gravity box. I'm bound to have some unwanted side effects from it.

Please help PUBG lag's very much

Hello i have a redmi note 7 3/32 model. When i play pubg even on low settings i.e smooth/high it lags very much.Phone heats very much.Tried disabling battery saver for pubg with no restriction but still lags very much.It had sd660 thats the reason bought it but it is really very disappointing.i had tried every combination of graphics settings but its the same.Phone heats after 15 min and then lag starts.
Should i install a custom rom? If yes then which rom will be best for pubg?

Can handle high fps, yes.
Can still create much heat and use much battery, also yes. Thus lower fps to keep it less warm. Try it yourself and see the difference.
Add all unnecessary apps/games in memory exceptions within game booster app. Also disable ingame shortcut and enable bandwidth priority.
In pubg I have fps set to high and graphic to smooth.
I find these settings work the best on my phone for game performance and less heat too.

How to do this btw?
Inside game speed booster settings.
And of course you need to add pubg to this app too.
I set pubg to restrict battery in MIUI setting FYI. It has no effect on game play.

I had done everything but still it lags when played even on smooth and low/medium settings.
Try running a few benchmarks to see if everything is right, like Antutu, 3dmark etc and compare the scores to others RN7.
If not, try resetting your phone.
yeah mine too , i can play pubg on my mi max 3 with no laggs in the same setting but with this redmi note 7 will laggs from time to times , it supposed to be better than sd636 in my mi max 3.

All the benchmark scores seems to be normal. Will reset today hope will get better performance
Thanks for reply
I have try antutu benchmark and the result is very far from ranking redmi note 7 list at there. My device at 51. How to raise up the performance?

Reset will do almost nothing. It does only in short term. Longterm it will lags again. Just like you reboot ur phone and cleaning cache, etc...
The main cause is, miui thermal and stock kernel restirct cpu frequency too 'agressively'. When our device start to heat, thermal will restrict -half of- our cpu to only use max freq for bigcluster 1,7Ghz & littlecluster 1,4Ghz and downclock soo oftenly. So, lags will occurs.
Reason behind is good actually to "save" the phone and decrease heat. But, when it comes for gaming (my opinion) Its NO USE at all. It Just ruins the gameplay.
Sad thing..., xiaomi like do nothin :'( its been a couple stable update and they are doing nothing to provide best gaming experience at least.

Yes you are right after reset again it starts to lag.
Can't we do anything for this mini thermal throttle?
I mean can we root and go for a custom rom Or anything like that to improve performance? I don't want any battery saver stuff.. Just want lag free gaming

Root method? Of course yes.
Flash recovery Orangefox R10 > Flash Magisk Root > Flash Thermal-Config Mod (its a magisk module) > Flash Custom Kernel (if you want, i recommend genom or evira). Done.
Now you will get best perfomance of our device should have.
*thermal-engine mod will disable cpu restriction
**custom kernel will increase battery and perfomance
You can go to custom rom too, it'll give you more :v
Head over development rom thread..

What if we disable MIUI optimization? Will it remove the restriction? Or the only choices are thermal mod?

Disabling MIUI optimization will not remove kernel restrictions, you're better off flashing another kernel or using a thermal mod as recommended before.

Coudn't find the thermal-mod link, maybe it has to do with editing the kernel.
