Antutu benchmarks for SM-T280/SM-T285 - Samsung Galaxy Tab A series Questions & Answers

Hi I'm doing a survey of antutu (v6.2.7) and AndroBench benchmarks various builds of the Galaxy Tab A 7.0 WIFI/LTE (SM-T280/T285) for baseline purposes. I can probably do the SM-T285 benchmarks myself, but I'm tired of wiping my device just to flash a different rom at the moment. I'm starting to do performance enhancements related dev to the SM-T285 and would appreciate help:
Tests are run on a fresh boot.
Samsung Galaxy Tab A 7.0 LTE (SM-T285) (5 possible builds, note tinker edition == stock)

SM-T280 (Stock, Android 5.1.1, Ext4): ?

T280 Stock 5.1.1
Antutu
Total = 22,797
3D 845 BUT one test unsupported
UX 9,665
CPU 8,941
RAM 3,346
AndroBench
S Read = 63.36 MB/s
S Write = 33.59 MB/s
R Read = 15.88 MB/s 4065.9 IOPS
R Write = 7.76 MB/s 1987.61 IOPS
SQlite Insert = 262.83 QPS 7.78 sec
SQlite Update = 322.33 QPS 6.35 sec
SQlite Delete = 362.51 QPS 5.73 sec
Coming from a 2014 tablet i must say that im not overly impressed with this tablet, the extra 1/2 MB ram does help but thats it, i guess that what happens when most the cheaper end tablets use outdated weaker chips..

Rank the chef - the critics speak [New Froyo Survey]

Okay - I am now using my 3rd Acer Custom Rom image and was thinking of making the jump to a Froyo image. But how stable/usable are the new Liquid-F ROMs? One thing I thought might be useful to users and might provide feedback to the cooks is a survey to rank user experiences with a particular ROM.
Would something like this be of interest to the cooks out there?
Click here for ROM ranking survey
I created this survey for the LCR series images because those are the ones I have used (and I would like to see the feedback for the LCR-F 1.0). If this is of interest to developers I could update the existing survey with other ROMs or create a new survey for other ROMs.
If the survey generates any responses I will post the results in this thread.
See post #5 for a F versus F survey.
BTW the authors of the LCR-F ROM is Malez and Vache. LCR-E is Malez/Vache/Piter1225 (I think).
My rankings for LCR-F (been using it for about a week now)
The first 2, I choose the best option u had
Battery Life- Usable
First 11 responses -
Question 1. Rom Version:
LCR-E (Eclair) - 1.7.3 = 0
LCR-E (Eclair) - 1.8.1 = 1
LCR-E (Eclari) - 1.8.2 = 1
LCR-F (Froyo) - 1.0 = 9
Question 2. Baseband Version:
A1-04.01.01 = 1
A1-04.01.01 = 0
A1-05.01.05 - 9
Question 3. Rank the stability of the ROM.
Very unstable = 0%
Unstable = 0%
Minimally stable = 9.1%(1)
Stable = 54.5% (6)
Very Stable = 36.4%(4)
Average Score - 4.27
Question 4. Rank the functionality of the ROM:
Non-functional = 0%
barely functional = 0%
functional = 9.1%(1)
Quite functional = 36.4% (4)
Very functional = 54.5%(6)
Average Score - 4.45
Question 5. Rank the battery life:
Sucks a lot = 0%
Sucks a little = 18.2% (2)
Usable = 54.5% (6)
Good = 27.3% (3)
Mr. Fusion = 0%
Average Score - 3.09
Based on this, I'll upgrade to Froyo. I found the LCR-E 1.8.2 with the 05.01.05 baseband a significant improvement over 1.8.1. I expect Froyo to be a big improvement in performance over Eclair due to the JIT compiler, I have just been waiting so ensure it is stable as I use my mobile for business.
I recommend this Froyo release : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=801853 .
I did not find any problems. Works fine.
/use for business/
Updated - I have a survey for the various Froyo images - but I'm just not sure which F-Roms to include. Currently I am using LCR-F 1.0 and am quite happy with it (mostly due to improved performance and familiarity with the LCR stock UI).
I'm open to suggestions of what Froyo images are popular.
Liquid Community ROM: LCR-F 1.0
Latest Acer Leaked Rom: (4.504b ??)

Bad I/O result in quadant standard

Hi all,
Since 2 days ago I have a galaxy note 4 N910F and i have a bad benchmark result in quadrant standart , total about 28000 : processor : 116586 , memory 17852 , I/O : 5207 , 2D : 238 , 3D :2124 ....
As you can see the I/O result is very bad , I have about 10 000 with my note 3 .
I did a full wipe of data and cache partition in recovery and put the official rom with odin but the same result.
What can I do for optimizing I/O ? because sometimes i have some little lags ..
Many thanks for your help
Regards
Allan

Head Unit Allwinner p3 - Request you help (root acces, recovery, firware etc)

Hello,
I ask for your help on several points concerning the HEAD UNIT.
In the android settings it is written
ANDROID 9 whereas during a test with a third-party application it is written ANDROID 8.1
Besides, my tablet seems rooted but I can't find how to use this root, root checker report NO ROOT ACCES, but DEV CHECK report ROOT ACCESS. Seems confuse.
But the problem is : the tablet is very (very very very) slow : Google map is unusable, waze is 'ok' but not good, Coyote (app for speed cam) is unusable. Navigate on Play store / on parameters is bad, etc...
I would then like to know
- How to use this root access, or how to root depending on the case, like how to reboot on TWRP (or how to install it) ?
- If there was a faster firmware for this HEAD UNIT.
Informations according to DEV CHECK app:
- Model : eight-core t3 p1
- product : t3-p1
- Android 8.1.0 (Oreo)
- API: 27 (don't know what it is)
- Build t3_p1-eng 8.1.0 OPM1171019.026 20191016-135700 test-keys
- Root accès : the device is rooted
Informations according to android parameters :
- Android version : 9 (i think it's fake)
- Hardware : 8-Core Allwinner (I think 8 core is a fake) -ROM 32GB - DDR3 2GB 1024x600 (8 core seems to be a fake)
- Kernel Version : Linux 4.9.118 - Web Oct 16 13:55:41 CST 2019
- OS Version : KC1C01D5-055-1.0.4.3.1
- MCU : STM32-20190828-11-kc1-30
Don't know if it's important : the HU is mounted on PEUGEOT 308 (2012 version).
Thanks to help.
Regards
Here is a picture I take today, as you can see there was not a lot of thermal paste. I clean it and add new paste all over the CPU
And now I'm sure this is a T3 quad core !

I have the same exact unit, but mine was advertised as a quad core.
Have you root it ? Have you do somthing to make it work faster ?
For now i have disabled Google services : Play Store, Chrome, Maps, YouTube, and a lot of notifications. t's better but not good
Have same unit. And it is not fast but not slow as hell. Google plays store tooks time to load. And phone (BT) app not working well and it is too bad designed. Not available search contact or speed dial. It is cheap unit and ok for me. Except official VW TMPS unsupported I cannot reset tire pressure light. And stock apps in rom damn bad designed.
