Any Android 7 (Nougat) that supports Dual Sim? (Xt1572, clark) - X Style (Pure) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Is there any alternative ROMs with Android 7 Nougat out there that supports dual sim on Clark? My variant is the Asian DS, xt1572.
Thanks anyone,
S.

AICP and CM 14.1 tested so far, and works brilliant!

Go for RR they are best roms

in the cm official page i only find clark xt1575... that the model number for the pure version ... iam from India and i have xt1572 style .... does that rom will work for me too?
or i do have to use anything separate? also in the the twrp section i only find the model no xt1575 ... so everything for xt1575 works for xt1572?

Alll Nougat ROMs support Dual SIM irrespective of what's given on their website, try any of the ROMs given

Is your phone the Asia DS version? if yes then they should've worked fine, try going back to stock and then clean flash the rom. Alternatively you can try Cypher OS as well.

Let me ask---If you have a US XT1575, and solder in missing pins to motherboard for 2nd sim and get a dual sim tray (or mod existing one)..will aicp now support both sims..or is there other hardware that is different between xt1575 and the dual sim xt1572 from Asia other than missing pins for second sim?

dual sim bug and bluetooth

Hello,
I have a couple of problems with my Samsung Galaxy S III Duos (I9300). CM 12, CM 12.1.
1. I cannot switch to use Internet from another sim card. It always uses just one of them. I tried swapping cards, It just chooses one of them, not always sim in slot 1.
2. Problem with Bluetooth in car (BMW, CCC). When I call (incoming/outgoing call) from one sim card everything is fine. When I call from another sim, car answers the phone and shows duration of a call, but no sound.

I noticed these bugs when I was on CM12 or CM11 (not sure which one, November 2015 release, Android 5.0.1 if I'm not mistaken), flashed back to stock 4.4.4, both bugs disappeared, so I guess it was not a hardware problem. Then I tried CM 12.1 20151225 release, both bugs were still in the ROM, so I flashed 4.4.4 again.
Can anyone confirm if they have the same bugs or if they are known at all.
Thanks.
Flash latest cm12.1 not cm12

As I already wrote I did flash CM12.1 dated 25.12.2015 from here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3-neo/orig-development/rom-cyanogenmod-12-1-s3-neo-t3099384
It didn't work either. Is it possible that I chose the wrong GApps and this was the reason?
I think I used open gapps stock version, but not sure, don't have that SD card and can't check now.
i have used CM12 and 12.1 rox and RR and i don't recall these two problems that you have mentioned specially the internet problem to me it was perfect but with a little reboot here and there so soory i couldn't help.
P.S :soory for my bad english

SIM card not detected on CM13 based ROMs

Hi guys, my Moto X Play is the XT1562, single SIM UK version and I'm running stock debloated ROM (see signature), I've tried running CM13 based ROMs and even OrionOS, which seems to be AOSP based, but the SIM is not detected on any of these ROMs, tried Pac-Rom based on 5.1.1 and on this one, everything works fine.
Is there any fix for single SIM Moto X Play? I've see other people with the same issue, but I haven't found a solution, please let me know if there is any.
Thanks =D

Any Custom ROM Supporting VoLTE ?

Hello All,
This query is regarding Redmi 2 Custom Rom. Is there any Custom ROM which supports VoLTE?
In India, Reliance Jio is launching 4G which will require VoLTE and hence this query. I have read that MIUI based on Lollipop base does support VoLTE but have not seen that option in Custom ROMs. Thanks in advance for help & comments
Edit
Basis feedback from users, to get VoLTE working following is solution:
1) One needs to first flash MIUI LP ROM (to get LP bootloader)
2) Second follow this by flashing ROMs like Orion, Mokee etc which supports VoLTE over LP bootloader
Read next post for details
Enable VoLTE in Redmi 2
The solution to get VoLTE working is following :
1) First, one needs to flash MIUI LP ROM (to get LP bootloader)
2) Second, flash ROMs like Orion, Mokee, RR, Project X, CM 13 etc which supports VoLTE over LP bootloader
3) Insert sim (example Jio for Indian users) and reboot. If required might have to create APN "ims"
4) In case APN "ims" doesn't work very well, pls follow this post here to replace apns config file.
That's it.. this will work.
Credits to multiple users from this thread. Cheers guys for being supportive

CM13 base Custom Roms does not support VoLTE
Im currently on Mokee with Jio sim & volte call does work. :good: I think cm13 too would work, Tesla didn't. Remember to be in lollipop firmware with volte support before flashing custom rom .

Can you try on DU latest build and confirm for me if it's working for you?
Cm-13
I am having a question.. When I'm using any custom rom and using my Jio 4G sim in any of the custom rom the performance isn't that great. For eg. If I'm getting 34mbps speed in MIUI then in any custom ROM i will be getting 0.5-1.0 Mbps speed. Can anyone tell me why is this happening and any workaround for it?

why install custom.. just install miui lollipop of redmi 2 prime and use VoLTE. it works
So in order to get VoLTE support on CM13, do you have to have Lollipop Bootloader and Modem flashed?
What about MM custom ROMs? Can anyone tell me for a fact if any ROM supports VoLTE. Also, can anyone confirm if this guide works for custom ROMs?
Can I Install the redmi 2 prime lollipop rom on redmi 2 1gb ram version are you sure it works, if not then what rom supports VoLte on 1gb redmi 2.

I read this somewhere in CM13 thread. Try these APN settings it should work
For volte go to network setting then select apn.
Add new apn with below details for volte
Name - jio
APN - ims
APN Type - ims
Rest of things you can keep as it is.
Also for 4g internet
Name - jio4g
APN - jionet

Had you taken the official Nougat OTA update? If so, you are out of luck... you will have to restore stock and wait for updated ROM's after the kernel source is release (30-90 days). There was a change in the partitioning and RIL that prevents custom ROMs from working at the moment, so you will have to go back to stock.

Yes, and for that kernel source and binary blobs to be implemented into custom ROMs, until then custom ROMs will not work properly.
I downgraded to official marshmallow rom and then the custom roms started working fine. But that can be very risky and you can brick your device.

custom rom can't recognize sim card

hello every one
I updated my phone (xt 1572 dual sim) to android N official then I decided to install a custom rom
I installed a twrp recovery and rooted my phone. then I installed lineages 14.1 but the rom recognized only one simcard without any signal.
I have the same problem with other custom ROMs like lineages and resurrection
I tried to flash stock android MM but it didn't work.
what should i do now to have both sim cards on custom roms?
I really love lineage and Resurrection.
I'm waiting for your help.

what should i do?
is it because of system file changes?
