Unlocked moto z force XT1650-05 - Moto Z Force Questions & Answers

Just got an unlocked version.
Popped in my Verizon sim and it is working.
I need to download google apps and play store and google play services.
I am having a difficult time with that.
The gogle play services is not working so the google play store and the google now launcher not working either.
Please help.
Unable to download any of my apps.
Thanks

please guys!

Download the apk's through the computer and transfer install them through adb. Also where did you get an unlocked moto z force

There is no unlocked Moto Z Force, XT1650-05 is the China version of Moto Z, which doesn't come with any Google services or apps.

Yes. It is the 64gb version of snapdragon 20 phone with the larger battery.
Is there any site that you recommend that i download apks on my computer and then install?
Whe i dowloaded the google play store, it did not run.
Whe i downloaded google play services, it stopped and i kept on getting error messages.
Phone comes in with its own chinese app store.
PLease any help to do it step by step...which apk to install first.
PLease, thanks.
I am willing to buy coffeee for someone who can help make this work.. Maybe even a steak dinner!

It did identify verizon right away and the phone itself worked without problem.

That is baffling. Only Z Force has SD820 with large battery, but Z Force is exclusive to Verizon, and definitely comes with Google services and apps. There is no unlock version of Z Force that doesn't come with Google services and apps.
We have to confirm which phone you actually have before anyone can help you with your problem. From where did you purchase this phone?

I bought a Verizon unlocked moto z force so did two of my friends and it's working perfectly with all needed stuff

There is no such thing as a unlocked (bootloader) Verizon Moto z force. If u mean as in unlocked to enable use of other carriers than yeah.

Yes that's what I meant SIM unlocked

PlayStation Store for PS Mobile coming October 3

I didn't see this posted anywhere, apologies if I am late, but they have announced a date for PS Mobile.
"PlayStation Mobile users, you may have just felt a brief phantom tug at your wallet. That's because Sony just announced the PlayStation Store for PlayStation Mobile is coming on October 3.
The first countries allowed to access PlayStation Mobile content through the PlayStation Store are Japan, United States, Canada, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and Australia. At launch on October 3, there will be 30 games available for download."
http://www.joystiq.com/2012/09/19/playstation-store-for-ps-mobile-opens-its-virtual-doors-on-oct/
I've asked this before, but I will ask again. I have a PLAY from Verizon running 2.3.4 and the PS Store app already downloaded (although no access to any games yet here in the US). Does this announcement mean it'll populate my store with games? The reason I ask is because here in the US, we've been kinda screwed. No PSOne games, and 2.3.4 crippled my Gtalk and Play Music. If this update means I can FINALLY download some new games, I'd be a little more happy.
I hope so, if they at least open the market to the u.s. and give us the same game library as other countries that'd be awesome.

Are there any details about these new titles?
I'm thinking it's going to be another app/store to download. This just sounds like something they would do.
I read around Gamescom that Sony announced that they will remove PSOne Classics from the Android PS Store once PS Mobile launches. This also applies to their existing PlayStation Certified devices like the Xperia Play, Xperia S, and their tablets. I find this to be a really dumb move, but maybe they just didn't want to put forth the effort of re-licensing everything for Android or figuring out how to segregate the Vita's store from PS Certified devices. Either way, it looks like the only games that you'll be able to run are the ones that have been available through the Google Play Store.
Really?! good idea, i wanne more ps games
About your situation, well, I think you can find other way to download or install games.
It's live! Has anyone given it a try yet? I kept getting an error when I tried to login until I rebooted the phone.

Thanks! I just found that as well.
Do you know if he tried rebooting after installing it? That seems to have done the trick for me. Although my Play isn't the AT&T version, it's an unlocked R800a that I'm using on AT&T.
I've used it on my Xperia Tablet S (the new one so it's the fully official app/store and everything lol - just to clarify )
TBH.... IMO..... It's not all that... I haven't tried it on my play yet but if the content is anything the same as what i can get on my tablet... then I wont be jumping for joy any time soon
The UI is nicer though... A lot nicer I'm just hoping that better games are on the way :highfive:
This needed to launch this with the xperia play. Now the device is all but dead.
Yeah I too have the Xperia Tablet S where it actually popped up with a notification telling me to install PSM.
As for the Xperia Play I got nothing although I'm on custom Rom xd.
Both devices have the same content btw. Though it's still great to finally have a store

QFT. The Xperia Play could have really been something, but it was so poorly supported that it never went anywhere. And because it didn't do well, we probably won't see a proper successor. That's the part that really kills me. I can only hope that I'm wrong because I would love a Xperia Play 2 with specs like the upcoming Xperia T/TL and a gamepad. Until then, I'm just biding my time because nothing else really interests me.

P.S. I'm on Markphytons Stock ICs .587 Rom and I CAN access the store so hopefully I'll be able to play the games too

The store has launched but all of the PS1 games that were on the previous version of the app are gone What happened to them?
I deleted the software update function on my rom, since I'm rooted and have deleted bloatware.
Is there any way to get this? Market? Maybe the software update apk?
Edit: Here we are: http://www.playstation.com/psm/store/en.html

[Q] Google Wallet on Rooted Razr M

Is there a way to install Google Wallet on a rooted Razr M? Going thru Play Store won't allow it.
Any help would be appreciated.

Also looking for an answer ... would love to use this, hate that I can't.
I blame ISIS and Verizon/ATT/TMobile.
Stay tuned until this Monday the 29th, on the google wallet site it says that the next version of Google Wallet is coming soon, and you can request an invite. On Monday Google has a big press event. I clicked the link and it ask me which device do I have android, ios, or other so just maybe they are extending it to non nexus devices. Check it out http://google.com/wallet
REvisit this!!
Hey found this thread in a search for google wallet on my rooted RAZR M. This would be an incredibly handy feature anyone had any luck or thoughts on this?

XT1581 XT1580 XT1585, couple questions

I heard not all model have shatterproof screen, which model have it?
Also, which one could unlock bootloader at this moment? Anyone could provide some detail please?
Double click on the model, right click, search... gave answer that 1581 and 1580 are Moto X Force, 1585 is Turbo 2. All Moto X Forces have unlockable bootloader. All models have shatterproof screen.

hey, I'm contemplating of buying XT1580 or XT1581. The asian version is cheaper with 2 sim support. any reason why should i go for EMEA XT1580 anyway? Is experience with OS the same or chinese have some bloatware installed? pls share your experience with chinese phone. Thank you.

The Chinese XT1580 has no Google apps at all (Play Store, gMail, etc). You will need to unlock the bootloader to revise the OS to one that has them installed. (I'm pretty sure you can't just side-load the core Google Apps)
That said, I have a Chinese XT1580 with appended Google apps, and although it's stuck at Android 5.11, it works fine with dual-SIMs, and all current apps. It even passes Google SafetyNet with TWRP installed and the bootloader unlocked.
your device is not qualify for bootloader unlock

If this is important to you, you have to research before you buy your phone.

hello
please i dont get your reply much very well. how can i do that please...?
As far as I know, N9008 is a special build which has not google play service built in. So maybe you can't use google play on N9008.
Im also wondering the same thing, I have the same phone and want to use snapchat but cant...
By the way, isn't market unlocker for unlocking those apps and games that are not universally available for download? We're wondering about how to fix the google play services, it doesn't work on my chinese note3 nor does google play market.

Google Assistant

I'm currently enrolled in the Android Beta program and running the most current Android version.
I also have the most recent Play Services version.
I have an unlocked 6P, purchased from the Google store in the US, but am now living overseas in Qatar.
I've read that Google Assistant will be available for my phone, but only to users in the US, UK, and Germany at first. Does anyone know 1.) If that will apply to my phone, and 2.) If so, is there any way to shortcut the geographical issue and receive the update like I was in the US?
Thanks for your help.

Hi... Try reading this thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-6p/general/how-to-force-enable-google-assistant-t3567560
There are also plenty of other threads over XDA or internet to force assistant. I think the downside is that you'll have to root your phone (at least temporarily to edit build.prop) to reach your goal.
Someone may correct me if I'm wrong. Good luck.

Yeah I was thinking rooting might be the next step....I used to root like crazy back in the Galaxy S2 days, but since Moto X and now 6P, I've been trying to embrace barebones stock Android.
Thanks for the tip.
