Since the last update, which should solve problems with bluetooth paired devices (that I haven't had), the BKB 50 doesn't conntect to the Tablet anymore. when I unpair an the pair the device it works for two minutes an then It doesen't work anymore.
Hardware reset of the keyboard didn,'t change anything. So, if you update have that in mind... and does anybody have an idea what I can do about it?

I just tested it with my HP Bluetooth keyboard - works with US keyboardlayout. I would have to change that with e.g. External Keyboard Helper.
You could try a factory reset of the tablet.
Or with root access and tools like Titanium Backup delete selectively the data of the bluetooth related apps or work on the command line via adb shell.
I had some issues with battery life in the previous build - some process drained the battery in idle mode in < 10 hours. I figured something with the Google system apps.
With the new build it seems to me the slope of the battery stats went from 30° to 10° and my usage pattern.
Best I had with my SGP712 so far.

HI,
Just tested with a generic bluetooth keyboard and no problem ( I never had a problem with the bluetooth with this tablet on many Devices)
I hope this update fixes my problem with videos / animated gifs being unable to play after x time. A reboot fixes that, but it's damn annoying on a media consumption device..

Sorry I did not try.
Going to update right now does someone know if theyve fixed the low microphone gain issue that the 771 is suffering since the last update?
Edit: Doesn't look so.... Come on sony guys with this matter the comm capabilities of the tablet go really down....

If it happens on original firmware it may help to post on Sony's official Z4 Tablet forum to better get their attention.
I should do the same once I know if the failing media playback issue also happens on stock.

Wow, looks like that is the fix. I've renamed the files on my tablet. Let's see if media keeps working. I'll report back in a few days.

Thanks nonetheless, I wouldn't have found it otherwise.
I can confirm that this fixes the playback problem. I can finally browse Reddit GIFs without fearing I'll have to reboot again to see them

Mine's still 4.3 too. It was a "minor" update according the my screen notification.

I just got the 4.4.2 update! I live in the UK if it helps and also only showed after I powered off and on.
It froze during the update though which worried me a little but I restarted and then it when fine

Just got the update to 4.42 kit kat.
Got some error messages as it updated but seems to have worked OK.
Have lost root and cwm though so will have to reinstall both.

Rebooted my tegra note, noticed there was an update. Saw the numbers (4.4.2). Started freaking out.
Hope it will work - stuck at 1/4 for 20min now.

Same here, also in the UK.
Some observations.
The new game controller mapper is excellent so far. I just created a profile for Epic Citadel and it works well. I'm using a Moga Pro Controller in B mode. We should now be able to use controllers for games that don't natively support them.
The bug where unmounting an external hard drive through settings/storage would also partially unmount the microSD card seems to have gone, though I've only tried it once.
The bug when using an external keyboard via Bluetooth or USB OTG where the 'auto correct', 'double tap space bar' and 'auto capitalise' options in the external hardware keyboard section do not work, remains. Shame.
The problems with HDMI out also remain, where video output that was smooth under the original firmware (4.2?) has micro stutters. No idea why, my movies aren't even HD. Also, the ability to zoom in in MX Player to force HDMI output to fill the edges of the TV screen that was possible with the original firmware (which was very useful indeed) has not made a return in this update.

I can't find it either.
I'm not sure I like the KK keyboard either....I want my apostrophe back on the first page
NOVA 3 still thinks we have Nvidia Shields so touch controls don't work. I haven't tried clearing data on the game or reinstalling it though.
Modern Combat 3 no longer works....
So, i flashed my tegra note back to stock and now im stuck on the welcome screen because for some unknown reason my wifi refuses to connect to any network and just sits on obtaining ip address. I have tried flashing a boot image, i have tried wiping again, i have tried rebooting.
Edit: Fixed it by using advanced options to put a static IP.
Got My Update to KitKat
I got my update late yesterday afternoon. Whole thing went without a hitch, though it took a long time. Then when finally done couldn't get it to work (things wouldn't open couldn't swipe to another screen, and stuff like that), so rebooted, and then it was fine. I'm really pleased that Nvidia got KitKat 4.4.2 out this fast. Good job, Nvidia!
Just wanted to mention too that it does seem faster, reality? Maybe not. Swiping screens, and multitasking is definitely smoother.

I don't like not having the battery percentage either, and I don't like the white icons, but it is what it is, I guess, that the way Google designed KitKat.
Hi, i have searched the web and the forums and have not found anything at all.
i switched from an lg g watch to a sony smartwatch 3 yesterday. after the initial setup and re syncing my apps everything works fine, except the music remote control on my watch.
i can start music on my phone via voice command but i cant control anything from my watch like i could before.
anyone having the same problem? or can anyone help me?

Yes that's also something that changed in the last days.
Yesterday I noticed something : when trying to start music from the watch with manual input it shows the play music card on the watch for a short time and it seems to be the old style where all the buttons are in a separate screen. When the phone is ready to play the music, the card disapears just like so from my watch.
I tried resyncing my wear apps and deleted the data of my play music app. Nothing helped.

Android wear hasnt been updated to lollipop yet. Theres a problem between lollipop media controls and android wear at the moment so thats why. The card prolly appears when music is paused. I know it does for me. It will let me start the music again, but then the card vanishes again. We jusr gotta wait for google to release the new android wear.

thx so much for your help. sounds plausible. i will try to see if i can get any more information on that, but i think in the end we have to wait.
strange thing is that i havent found anyone with the same issue. some would think thats pretty common.

As far as im aware it is common for lollippp users. Had the problem on my n4. Thewn notifications for music worked on my moto x, but as soon as i updated to lollipop they left again.
The Android wear update should be out soon. 9to5google posted about it yesterday with screenshots.

Hi, im having this weird problem, i loose notifications sounds Android sometimes cant play music on Play Music, after a reboot it fixs, but after 15 minuts the problem comes back, someone Knows what can solve this issue? Im on stock ROM btw, thanks.

@RK2116 ... I don't guarantee this will solve your problem but have you tried wiping "cache" and "dalvik cache" ?

Do you have bluetooth enabled? I have an issue that I've seemed to track down to the bluetooth that after connecting and then disconnecting my alert sounds will play very softly. A safe boot will fix it but annoying what I have to reset when I do that.

Yes, I use Bluetooth, but I'm thinking that isn't the problem, a did everything I can, format the SD, format the SD in the PC, format the SD in another phone, factory reset, reboot, disable Play Music, shut down my Bluetooth, everything, and the problem still, sometimes it's fix alone for a limited time, and then came back... Only sound I get is streaming videos and the call Ringtone...

Well, that's what I've narrowed the problem down on my phone to. If I leave bluetooth off, the issue doesn't happen. But I need bluetooth so I leave it on. All I can figure is that there is a bug with the bluetooth software when it interacts with the alert volume when connecting and disconnecting.

A lil bit, but i really dont use it that much, for muy use is doing iy well, but like i said, battery is my main problem, but se need to test the ROMs to find the one, will stay with this one till new year i think.

I'm using trupure rom with stock kernel .. i put ringtones to system/media/ringtones and set permission 644 .. my device is stable and not losing notification sound .. sorry, i'm not good at english
Try BrokenOS... It's MM but rock solid, not on XDA, Google it. Best battery life I had other than stock, if you don't like the default dark theme, change to light theme

Not going to update my XZ1 to Pie. It seems Google has disabled third party call recording apps such as ACR within Pie. This functionality is very important to me in my work. So unless I'm going to root my phone in order to get around this I can't use call recording app. This is a major to me and many many others.

weird, I have a good precision (tested inside a building)

I got four darker spots on camera - two are darker and two are barely noticeable. At first I thought it was a hardware issue (dirty lens or faulty sensor), but I found, that this happened to some of the different Xperia phone users before after a software update. Can anyone else confirm that?
Just updated. GPS and camera are fine and everything seems really quick. Or maybe that's because I just rebooted and I don't do that so often

I did, but no success, I tried different kernels, but no success either

For some reason update fails for me. I run it from the file manager, it reboots and starts updating, but at about third of the progress the phone just reboots abruptly. Did anyone else have this issue?

I did it via recovery, no problems for me, try to download file again and then try through recovery it is simple
I just downloaded it again this morning and tried with the same method and it worked this time. Pretty unusual for this to happen.

Ok but did you have the problem before? Because for some users there were no issues also before this update. Judging from the xda poll the ratio is/was around 50/50.

I had no issues unless the phone was sleeping, and then there was a 1-2 min delay

No, I updated the phone to OnePlus 7T
But still till the very last moment was considering to give the x2 Pro a shot as I really liked it.
