Google cast is an app to manage chromecast, it is something else

i can not connect my moto z force or my lg tablet to my tv. say its connecting but never does. not sure if its a bug with MM or what. i am able to share pictures, videos, youtube but unable to do a full screen cast
edit- after some digging, it turns out it is a MM bug. Marshmallow added "p2p_disabled=1" to /data/misc/wifi/wpa_supplicant.conf which disabled P2P Wi-Fi Direct connections. after removing this line on my tablet,
it now miracasts just fine. the bad news is you have to be rooted to do it. so if or when we get root we are SOL!

Can you please explain in details?

Explain what? The app changes your DNS to the Google DNS, so it should work once you do that. Have you tried it?

Have you tried changing the DNS on your router? I don't see any reason why this wouldn't work.

Anyone have a Watchespn blackout work around?

I have done this on a PC using the hotspot shield vpn.... Decide to see if there was a hotspot shield VPN app for nexus 7...
Good news and bad news... There is an app, but not compatible with the device...
I tried a few VPN apps and it masks my IP when browsing... But when I launch my watchespn app, and try to view my game it still says it is blacked out...
Since the folks at xda-developers are some of the sharpest people on the Internet, I am hoping someone is willing to share their knowledge...
Thanks

AT&T Scanner

It's crazy, I have an Impulse 4G (Huawei U-8800) from AT&T and Play won't let me get the free AT&T barcode scanner that works really well for me. It's a free app and I managed to find an old version that works well but I would like to upgrade since mine is two versions old.
I guess there's no way to fool Play into thinking I have something else is there? I've searched all over the place and every link points back to Google.

Thanks, that was actually the first thing I tried. It goes through the motions but after it finishes and I log back into Google, it still shows me having the Huawei. I tried it using all three of the devices offered and no change. I did send a feedback email from the app. It was worth a shot though.

That didn't work either, but I used APK Leech to get it and sideloaded. I put in the device # for my Samsung Tab which the app really won't work on that well, but is compatible....go figure.

Cannot Permanently Disable SafeSearch on Google Now App??

In the Google Now app, I went to Settings -> Accounts & privacy, and I disabled the SafeSearch option, however whenever I search for anything that is NSFW, I get the following result in the All, Videos, & Images tabs: "Your search - lesbian porn - did not match any documents/video/image results" (see attached).
I get this only on my new GS7 Edge (Android Marshmallow, non root) & it doesn't matter if I'm on my home WiFi or 4G LTE w/ Verizon. I only have this issue on my phone. My other devices using the same Google account do not have this issue, including my Surface Pro 3, Toshiba Laptop, my GS6 Edge (Android 5.0.1), or anyone else's device in my house for that matter.
I can still search for NSFW stuff using Google in my Chrome app or Firefox. So what gives?? I need the quick access using the Google Now app!! Lol
Edited: fixed typos.
Lol

Is no one else having this issue?

Try this search instead: "sex addiction clinic". It should work.

I had the same issue on the first pair with my moto 360. A reboot to both did the trick.

Pairing solution!!!
I own OP5 and Moto360 and I were in same stressful situation, but I found a solution!
as 6056630 support page on Wear support (search for it if you want) info you DON'T have to pair them using bluetooth of your phone! you have to do FIRST: open android wear app and proceed configuration.. here the AW app will do the PAIRING with numeric code!!
You don't need to use system bluetooh pairing!!
This worked instantly!!!
It's unbelivable that most sites and also G support tell to do BT pairing before.. -_-

I can confirm that. Had the same problem, but found the solution the hard way as per above.
