Blackberry Keyboard P9 Lite - Huawei P9 Lite Questions & Answers

Hi everyone.
I installed on my phone Blackberry Keyboard from Blackberry Manager, it's a great app, but I have a problem. I don't have gestures and suggestions on keyboard. The button in settings is disabled. I only can write by swipe and have sugestions at the top of keyboard. I have seen that on the other android phones that function is working. Any ideas how to enable it ? Or is it only my phone problem ? Is anyone using it on P9 Lite ?

Backlight appears when tap power setting...

Who has the same trouble in XDA Mini?
Go to Start/Settings/System: tap on Add Ring Tone, Power, Device Information, Button Lock... It always open Backlight setting. This trouble can not be solved by soft reset.
Maybe it conflicts with an unknowed software. I'm not sure. Anyone has experience about this? Pls help! Thank you!

Keyboard bug

Hi all, had a search and cant find what im looking for so posting in the atrix forum for help. My son has an atrix and during the last week there has developed a keyboard bug, where every time he hits the space bar, it minimises the entire keyboard.
Has he inadvertantly activated a shortcut or something that can be turned off?
Any help is apreciated guys, the phone its' self is all stock un-rooted.

Use physical keyboard and onscreen keyboard at the same time

I have a Bluetooth bar code reader connected to the tablet and it shows up as a physical keyboard. It works great to scan information into text fields. The issue is that the onscreen keyboard doesn't show up if it is connected. Does anyone know a way to have both the onscreen keyboard show up and have a physical keyboard connected? When i googled for answers I found someone with the same issue on there zoom with 4.1 installed, they said the onscreen keyboard would still pop on 4.0 but not on 4.1 (I searched for an app that might allow this and came up with nothing )

Settings > Language & input > Default, switch the "Hardware" property to Off. works for me on Android version 4.1, It let me have both of the input types, but I have to set up this configuration every time it gets connected. Hope it helps.

[Q] N7 + DISABLE Physical Keyboard

Every time I connect a physical keyboard HID device (Either a bluetooth keyboard or a bluetooth barcode scanner), Android toggles the physical input toggle to _ON_ ! It's infuriating, because this blocks the soft keyboard from showing, and I need both! I know if I write an app for the application I have in mind, I can just toggle the soft keyboard ON - that's easy enough, but no dice for web apps... which are better in many ways for me.
What should I do? Where do I start? Custom build? Custom kernel? Anyone have a recommendation?
Bleh I have an album of screenshots but it won't let me post them.
It's on imgur.com / a / Y20GH
... just a helpful guess
I don't have a physical keyboard to try this out with but I think the Keyboard Manager app might let you do this?

I suspect there is also a way Tasker can control it.
not really a solution for me...

Tasker can toggle the soft keyboard ON, but this doesn't really solve my issue... looking to keep that hardware keyboard disabled... is there a script that could do it via tasker somehow?

Enable softkeys

Hallo,
I really want to enable the softkeys since my hardware buttons aren't working anymore. Does anyone know how to enable them? I found some tutorials about adding a line in your build.prop but none of them worked. I run Android 5 on my I9506.
Thanks in advance
You mean those on-screen buttons?
I think you'll have to find a custom rom which has the feature.
Or find an app to do it. There was something called Pie Control on the google play which gave you some on-screen buttons when swiping from one of the screen edges.
