LTE-band 20 EU - ZTE Axon 7 Questions & Answers

Just like some other Chinese phones the Axon 7 "flagship" will lack the 800mhz 4G/LTE band it seems.
4G network: B38/39/40/41 (2600/1900/2300/2500 MHz) FDD-LTE B1/2/3/5/7/8 (850/900/1800/1900/2100/2600MHz)

Some blogger on the ZTE event claimed that it will support ALL EU LTE Bands (which should include B20) : https://community.zteusa.com/thread/2254 / http://andreagaleazzi.com/live/zte-axon-7-la-presentazione-internazionale-live-da-parigi-h-1930/

Which networks does that mean the handset won't work with?

Which LG G2 are not compatible with Europe?

I want to buy a phone to a friend of mine in Europe but I have no clue that what frequencies are not compatible with the models of LG G2. I am excluding Sprint and Verizon models.
How about T-mobile and AT&T versions? Are they compatible and do they have a sim card slot?
Thanks in advance
All versions have a SIM card slot, but you'll definitely need to find out which frequencies your friend's carrier uses in order for us to be able to help you. You wouldn't want to buy a T-Mobile one and then find out you needed a Verizon one in order to get 3G in your carrier (happened to me).
If you don't know on which carrier phone will be used to check for bands and radio frequencies, AT&T LG-D800 is your best bet. It supports almost all of them excluding LTE bands.
I wonder what are the frequencies of T-mobile and AT&T versions? If I get them, I can find out the European frequencies. Any hint?

So it seems both versions are compatible with Europe. Thanks man. Appreciate it.
The D803 Canadian version also includes some of the LTE European frequencies.

[Q] Is it possible to flash different radios to gain GSM?

I've been at a loss on what to do with my Note 3 since moving to St. Louis. I was at first under the assumption that since it has a sim card slot it could be unlocked and used on GSM carriers and boy was I wrong. The USCC variant does not support GSM at all, and only operates on CDMA. I'm not accurate in my assumption but I assume that the US Note 3s all contain the same hardware but different radios flashed to the chipset preventing access to North American GSM. And now the challenge:
With Root and recovery access is it possible to flash a radio from a GSM variant and match the kernel and then subsequently a GSM Rom to turn the USCC into a GSM capable device?
To start I have found the following infoModes
less detail
LTE (4G)
750 Upper 700 (Verizon) / band 13 USA
1700 AWS / band 4 (IV) Americas
1900 PCS+G / band 25 USA
WCDMA (3G / 4G)
850 Cellular / band 5 (V) Americas, Oceania, Brazil, Israel
900 band 8 (VIII) Europe, Asia, Africa

GSM (2G)
850 Cellular Americas, Oceania, Brazil, Israel
900 Europe, Asia, Africa
1800 DCS Europe, Asia, Africa
1900 PCS Americas
Verizon version doesn't support LTE 1900 / Sprint version doesn't support LTE 750, 1700 / U.S. Cellular version doesn't support GSM nor WCDMA

AT TIME OF THIS POST UPDATE - NEITHER H818P nor H818N SUPPORT **SIMULTANEOUS** 3G/4G CONNECTIONS ON BOTH SIMS AT THE SAME TIME. ONE SIM ONLY! Keep reading below.
CONFIRMED:* H818P Does not work on Band 28 (700Mhz)... only Band 17. This has been confirmed by LG UAE. See my post here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=62204877&postcount=533
* May 2015: LG announce at least two G4 *DUAL SIM* phones to be released with their latest flagship single-sim model to be released simultaneously (or within 1 month) after most market single-SIM release dates. The 2 most common models areH818P (Ukraine, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, UAE)] and the H818N (Hong Kong, China)
* (CONFIRMED) H818P model supports 3G/4G data connection on SIM1...It is ALSO supported on SIM2 (provided SIM 1 is set to 'GSM only' (or vice versa). It can be a bit tricky for some to get it working, here's how to do it: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=61621397&postcount=165 You can also see the functionality for BOTH sims from a user screenshots HERE: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=61115881&postcount=49
* (CONFIRMED) H818N model supports 3G/4G data connection on BOTH SIM1 & SIM2. Thanks to @Neutrality here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=61674683&postcount=188 If you cannot enable LTE/4G on SIM 2, you are likely using an old software version (v10c or earlier) meaning you will need to access the hidden menu from the dialler. Open the phone dialler, type in 277634#*# suggested by @Syrop on page 18. who STEPS you through activation: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=62100690&postcount=460. If you have v10d, the option to choose 3G/4G on SIM2 should be readily available in normal menus. See @kanzone s post here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=62307988&postcount=572 and the one above it.
* Out of box, wireless charging is NOT supported on DUAL SIM models, as SIM2 is roughly in the position where the contact pins are. NFC capability is retained.
* H818P supports 4G LTE band 17 which is 700Mhz (not not Australia/NZ and other band 28 countries on 700Mhz). H818N does not support 700. @bahamot_zero confirms on page 2 with sticker/box image: Same with @Icewanted page 4

Yes that much we know from the GSM Arena website, but not even that is all too comforting, especially when you consider this website and their presumptions on supported bands:
http://pdadb.net/index.php?m=specs&id=8051&view=1&c=lg_g4_h818p_lte-a_lg_p1
What you are forgetting is the other dual SIM model ... the H818P? On LG's UAE website, so such specsw are even listed!
Does anyone know of the G4 dual sim (HOPING it's compatible with 700MHz 4g LTE band FDD) is available to order yet from a reputable international seller, or is it still not available?
Thanks

What is the code for the service menu so i can check this thursday when i get it?
If H818P users (UAE, Indonesia, Ukraine, Thailand etc) can post an IMAGE of their phone and the STICKER on the box confirming model number and compatable MHz bands, that would be appreciated.
Paulie72 I was under the impression vendors may start to receive this stock BY 28th May. Have you been told it will be in your HANDS by then?

LTE bands difference between NA version and rest of the world?

Greetings,
I am gonna pre-order a Nexus 6P and I want to know if there r any difference between NA version and others...
I am on China Unicom, which is using FDD Band 3...
Do all versions support B3?
Thanks!
This is what the Australian product page gives us:
GSM/EDGE: 850/900/1800/1900MHz
UMTS/WCDMA: B1/2/4/5/6/8/9/19
TD-SCDMA: 34/39
CDMA: BC0/1
LTE (FDD): B1/2/3/4/5/7/8/9/17/19/20/28
LTE (TDD): B38/B39/40/41
AndroidPolice have an article on the US model too, and quote the below:
Nexus 6P
GSM/EDGE: 850/900/1800/1900MHz
UMTS/WCDMA: B1/2/4/5/8
CDMA: BC0/1/10
LTE (FDD): B1/2/3/4/5/7/12/13/17/20/25/26/29
So you should be all fine with whatever version.

Redmi 3S - Global version vs Chinise

I have a question about hardware difference between Xiaomi Redmi 3S China version and the Global one.
I thought that the only difference is the EU-plug, but I noticed this item on aliexpress with LTE B20 (800MHz) support.
I asked the seller about it and the seller insists that all of that is true.
Can someone confirm or deny this situation?

well the only think that i am sure is that as an european is difficult to find the "india" version
(because i know -and can buy from - only chinese stores)
also 2 band for lte is weird so i guess it's just a rom limitation or just incomplete list of specs (because it doesn't matter for India the other bands)
p.s. i don't see roms only for india , i only see china and global roms
Their hardwares should be same.
Charger different
China version don't have Google Play service+bandwidth those stuffs should be different?
so... any more infos about the 800MHz FDD-LTE support ?
anyone tried to unlock the bootloader on a chinese version and flashing a xiaomi.eu multilang rom to see if B20/800 is available ?
This is of great interest to me too. I want to buy two Redmi 3s's, but need B20 as well. If it's as easy as flashing the global/international ROM, it would save me lots of $$. Has anyone tried this and succeeded using B20 on a Chinese 3s?
I bought the international version of Redmi 3s, and the B20/800 is working! Also arrived with official global ROM

No. There's should not be and hardware differences until it comes to Mobile Broadband frequencies, but i think this is software dependent. As you flash Global or Chinese you choose frequencies probably. I use Global Stable with Root and some tools and it's just fine.

So I have 2016031. If the information I provided above is correct, that means I have all necessary bands for Europe.
The problem is I found different information here:

Xiaomi: https://xiaomi.eu/community/threads/redmi-3s-with-lte-b20-800mhz.33957/
2016030 is 32gb version
2016031 is 16gb version
Both without b20

Yes, you do.
I have the same model and ROM capacity.
Look at my october post, you can find there links to official Xiaomi pages with the band availability information.
There is no information about model numbers there, but it was confirmed by many users.
Thank you for your help!
I see indeed all the bands under specifications.
I am very happy.
