I would like to ask that is there any battery replacement with high capacity (> 3500mAh) for Lava Pixel V1?)
Thank you!

Why dont tech world give first priority to battery capacity for smartphones?

its all about resolution or processors or gpu , what is all those big numbers worth without big battery, 5 hours of screen time with moderate use and your so called beast dies. most of the leaks first give idea of processor ,screen, resolution, ram but not battery capacity, may be its because battery capacity isn't that important in the eyes of most. 5 inch screen should have 3500 mah battery life droid razr maxx and 5.5 should have 4000 mah. if they say mobile gets thicker with bigger battery , lenovo gave 10mm 5 inch smartphone with 5000 mah , and 6 inch vibe z2 pro with 4000mah even with thin 7.7mm profile. im a heavy user like most , and i dont want to replace the battery mid day. im not an iphone user only to show off my device. i want substance as well.

Powerbanks
I think It's the Software/OS that's power hungry, so packing a higher capacity battery is not their priority. Take a look at the HTC One M8 for Windows, they claim that the battery lasts 20% longer than it's Android counterpart. What they should prioritize is optimizing the software's power consumption.
Getting a powerbank is a good choice... for now... until Android L arrives.
Its about software/os just like tunichi01 said and they also want to slim the phone most of the times so they are putting an average battery in it just like most manafactures also have in mah anmount. So its also the phone's design from inside and the outside to fit the batery. And for most users the 3009 mah battery is enough, I had an nexus4 with like 2200-2300 maH I believe and that had 6 hours sot that was enough for me and the most average users. Biggerbattery could also risk an explosion if the phone isnt good designed.

Battery Duration Marshmallow VS Nougat

Hi guys let's share our usage experience about an interesting theme, battery in roms so we can chose more wisely.
Mi experience: supernova light - 10% battery usage gives me 1h30 screen on + WiFi.
Supernova nougat - 10% battery usage gives me 1h10 screen on + WiFi.
I stuck withe Supernova light because battery difference is huge.

Which ROM have the best battery life? ?

Hi dears,
I am on stock Android 8.1 DP2. I barely get 5 to 6 hours on average use and 4 hours of screen on time which is bad for a 3400 mAh battery.
I am planning to root my phone to get the best possible battery performance along with some Pixel 2 features if possible.
Based on your experience, which ROM have it best when it comes to battery life?
It is a bit hard to test all the ROMs
Thanks all.
All the 8.1 ROMs are turning out quite nice. If it's pixel features you want try SuperXe stock version. 4 hours SOT is ok with me the higher amperage charging makes up for the difference.

Huawei Mediapad M5 Lite 10" vs Samsung Tab S2 VE T813

Hi Guys,
Been searching for a cheap tablet with reasonable performance to run around the house, what's your take on these 2 options?
pros and cons?
My own opinion:
The recently released the Huawei has a better and modern layout / design and a fresh battery.
The Tab S2 has better screen, better performance.
About the same price at the moment.
Any help would be appreciated.
Similar to the m5 lite there also the galaxy pad a8 2018, but unfortunately lack of fingerprint reader...
Tapatalked with A8 2018
There is probably lots more support for the Tab S2 if that's important to you.
I bought SM-T719 last week for 299Eur. Nice small tablet. Amoled is great, came with android 7 preinstalled, battery has no drain when idle, is fast, LTE did not try yet.
EDIT : the battery life : I still had 80% battery left after 95minutes of browsing (on-screen time), so that makes the battery life 475 minutes, or almost 8 hours. I have the tablet on for couple of days. That is very good battery life.
