Bcmon,RFA - Hardware Hacking General

Hi
I have seen this hacking app called "Reaver" and i had to install "Bcmon" for this to work but i cannot get bcmon up and working it either force closes or it says device not supported, as i tried hacking my own WiFi which my bro change the password and he doesn't want to give the code, so i tried hacking because wifi is my life i cant live without her , anyways so i am asking if there is anyway to make this broadcom wifi chipset work? Anyway at all? If you can mod please do
Thanks alot in advance

Bcmon is very finicky when it comes to what it will work with. I suggest checking out their dev page for a better idea of the requirements. Unless you have the ability to code your own driver for mon, it's not likely to find support. For penn testing You can go the linux deploy route, that coupled with a usb otg cable and a wifi card that works with the Bully\aircrack suite (I think that's what reaver needs ).

first you need a compatible device
Hi first u need a compatible device to hack a WPA wpa2 WiFi or let it be wep
First u need to get a mobile having 4329, or4330 WiFi chipset I refer u HTC nexus one which is rare mobile having 0.5 % popularity or galaxy gs2 then if u got n1 install cm9 on it (cm10 on gs2) and then I hope u'r bcmon will work once it'll work then u can use either RFA or air crack GUI thanks ...

Im trying to make Reaver for Android work on my device due its not compatible with bcmon, im using custom scripts.
Im getting the following error:
CANNOT LINK EXECUTABLE: library "libpcap.so.1" not found
Due that, i used the following solution command:
export
LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/path/to/your/dir:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH
Obvious /path/to/your/dir is an example, mine is /sdcard/Download/libpcap.so.1
But im not getting success... i continue getting the error... Please somebody help

Wifi cracking? Lol.... packet injection needs patched wifi drivers that support it....if you are using the version of ubuntu that boots from windows mobile, it should be possible to patch the wifi driver and compile it for it..... but i dont think it would be possible with the linux versions that run inside android.....anyways, on the aircrack-ng website they have tutorials on how to compile patched wifi drivers for injection..... google it....
If youre asking this for wifi cracking, it would be much easidr just to use the pc and the linux distibition called backtrack....theres even a live cd for backtrack that requires no installation..... of course only if ur cracking ur own wifi for educational purposes....lmao

Mmmm... I think we first need to make the kernel detect USB ethernet devices (RJ45 or WiFi). We are talking about this in this other thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=24163732&postcount=582
but, if we solve that problem, I think probably the injection matter could be faced in a very similar manner... or even be automatically solved.

I set up sdk and did exactly as all gamers direction say but still having issues with the drivers even after a whole weekend of trying. I then read to vet PDA.net for the drivers and when I go to devices manager I can't see the nexus s .when I go to control panel with the USB plugged in I do see nexus but as I stated will not show up in device manager so I'm not sure if there installed properly. Ive got a Sony laptop with windows 7.

While this is a helpful guide, it has you downloading the Galaxy S drivers and installing them. This is entirely unnecessary.
Why does it have you moving ADB and it's libraries from platform-tools to tools? So that you can add tools into the PATH? They were moved in the SDK a while back, they will live in platform-tools going forward.
If fastboot isn't seeing your device open up android_winusb.inf and add an entry for the Nexus S
Code:
;Nexus S
%CompositeAdbInterface% = USB_Install, USB\VID_18D1&PID_4E20&REV_0100
Feel free to add it under both [Google.NTamd64] and [Google.NTx86]
Yep I made sure USB debugging was enabled. Thanks for support I sure appreciate it going to try as soon as I get home from work.can't wait to be overclocked with some toggle in the drop down.I never had these many problems trying to get the drivers recognized by my PC even after j manually showed my PC exactly were they were.I will definitely post and hope I have this dam problem solved

Usb debugging doesnt matter in bootloader. You connect your phone while in bootloader to install fastboot drivers.

[TOOL][WINDOWS] ADB Graphical User Interface GUI

Hey guys I know I have posted some other similar programs, but hopefully this will raise the bar on how people use Android Debug Bridge.
So To start off, this program will not root any phone, but can easily break a phone if used improperly.
Secondly, If you need to ask what a button in the program THEN DO NOT USE IT!
I will only answer questions if they involve drivers or programming bugs, NOT for something like "What is Sync?" because If you do not know, then you do not need to know now.
SEE LINKS BELOW FOR MORE RECENT UPDATES!
This program has some built in ADB functions:
Rebooting- Recovery/Bootloader/Fastboot.
Sync from a folder (If you don't know or have to ask do not use!)
Use logcat
Start up a shell instance (With root if possible.)
Remount (Needs root also)
Flash(Recovery/Boot.img)
Root SOME devices(Using Bin4ry Script Credit to him)
Auto Download Root script
adb shell built in now
cmd shell built in
automatic updates
push files
install apks
get misc system information
Download ODIN for Samsung devices
Detect HTC device correctly for once lol
Application Manager
ADB Learning Center (Under Construction but not beta)
4.0-4.3 Backup Manager (Using adb backup NOT Nandroid)
0Nandroid intergration
Build.PROP veiwer (Soon to be editor too!)
Free device ram and kill background process
MORE TO COME!
___________________________________________________________________
Also a BIG thing for this program is the ability to install ADB and Fastboot into Windows as a command in Command Prompt.
This would allow one to use adb as a normal command from CMD.
E.G "C:\Users\Lab\>adb shell"
Instead of having to CD to C:\android\and all that.
Download the program: Version 5.0.2.26:New Download link[/COLOR]
As far as the newest huge feature in ADBGUI goes, the Application Manager is to be considered Pre-beta and should be used with extreme caution.
Requirements for the Application Manager:
> You need root
> It only works with 3rd Party (Downloaded from google play or other source)
> It does not work with all devices and has some major bugs.
Come on guys give some feed back!
Well enjoy!
Have questions or maybe want to report an issue?

About ClickOnce:
The core principle of ClickOnce is to ease the deployment of Windows applications. In addition, ClickOnce aims to solve three other problems with conventional deployment models: the difficulty in updating a deployed application, the impact of an application on the user's computer, and the need for administrator permissions to install applications.
ClickOnce-deployed applications are considered 'low impact', in that they are installed per-user, not per-machine. No administrator privileges are required to install one of these applications. Each ClickOnce application is isolated from the other. This means one ClickOnce application is not able to 'break' another. ClickOnce employs Code Access Security (CAS) to ensure that system functions cannot be called by a ClickOnce application from the web, ensuring the security of data and the client system in general.
Some other thinks about ClickOnce:
My ClickOnce application is personally signed, so windows will tell you the publisher is "Unknown" but that is OK. It will install just fine.
[UPDATE Nov. 21st 2013]
Hey guys!!
Just wanted to share some news for all you linux users!

Is this ADB GUI project open source?
I think this is a really cool idea. Might also help get more users into ADB and willing to learn what things do. (sometimes it's scary when thinking of command line)

SOLVED[ROM PORTING][CM10] Wifi Not working, setting says "Turning Wifi on" for always

SOLVED[ROM PORTING][CM10] Wifi Not working, setting says "Turning Wifi on" for always
Hi
I am trying to port CM10 for a low cost device Samsung Galaxy Trend S7392. I am trying to bring up wifi but no success. The Wifi Setting Screen always show Turning Wifi On.
To debug I tried to run wpa_supplicant manually and found that it is working fine. Here is what I did:
1) Run wpa_supplicant manually : wpa_supplicant -Dnl80211 -iwlan0 -c/data/misc/wifi/wpa_supplicant.conf -e/data/misc/wifi/entropy.bin -dd &
2) Run wpa_cli : wpa_cli -p /data/misc/wifi/wlan0
>scan
>scan_results
I get a list of WIFI APs available around me. But I am unable to turn on WiFi on my phone anyhow.
Any help will be highly appreciated. Please find attached logcat for more reference.

There would be many reasons if you couldn't start wifi software well. Here are some tips, hope it would help
1,check if your computer wireless network adapter is activated,if not, open it.
2,uninstall the physical adapter and then ” Scan for hardware changes ” for several times. It would need a few minutes to scan the hardwares, and then system will install the new wireless network card automatically.
3,share the network connection manually.

Try installing a stable build. Not all CyanogenMod ROMs are compatible with the hardware of the device. Sometimes Bluetooth or GPS doesn't work for me.
