I'll copy and paste the instructions that my cellphone unlocker service gave me. The should be the same for all Note 3s.
---------- Instructions ----------
Read This First
* With the provided Unlock codes, if you are receiving "Code Error" or "Sim Network Unlock Unsuccessful, DO NOT WORRY! proceed to the "Trouble Shooting" section on how to proceed.
* Make sure "Airplane Mode" and "Wi-Fi" is turned off under wireless connections if your Samsung is an Android device.
There are Multiple Unlock Codes provided, which one do I use?
If you only received 1 Unlock Code, Don't worry about this part, use the code provided above.
* Unlock Code is the Network=xxxxxxxx is the Unlock Code as shown below:
Example:
NETWORK=xxxxxxxx; PROVIDER=xxxxxxxx; SUBPROVIDER=xxxxxxxx; DEFREEZE=xxxxxxxx
* You can ignore the rest of the codes, unless you are receiving a "Phone Freeze" message when trying to input the Unlock Code.
---------- Code Input Instructions ----------
How to Enter Unlock Code
Method #1
Insert a Non accepted simcard in your phone and power on. Once finished loading your phone will ask you to enter a code, enter the Unlock Code
Note: Non Accepted Simcard is any simcard not from the original provider

Network locking

WARNING/DISCLAIMER: This is untested and I do not guarantee it works.
I've seen several people asking if it was possible to re-insert the network locks on our phone. I found out it was possible using this method:
To re-lock your phone, you need the NCC/MNC for the network you want to lock it to and the unlock code.
1. Use of the methods to get the unlock code.
2. Dial *7465625*628*#
3. Enter the NCC and MNC of the network you want it locked to
4. Enter the unlock code (called Control Key)
5. You're phone is locked!!!
In the case of Portuguese networks, NCC=268, MNC=06 -> TMN, MNC=01 -> Vodafone and MNC=03 -> Optimus (not really sure about this one).
I have not tried this method myself, but the code above does show a "Network lock" screen. If someone do try this, can you please post your results?
However, if you kept a backup of the nv_data.bin file before unlocking, re-locking it will be a simple matter of restoring that backup.

Galaxy S5 unlock unsuccessful bug

I received my unlock from my provider. After turning on phone with unspported sim i got a message to enter unlock code. I entered it and it says : network unlock unsucessiful, and that message dissapear. But after few sec i got initial screen on samsung and i saw that network actually work and my phone is unlocked, i tried with thrid provider and also work. Is that some kind of bug in lollipop or ?
Did you test if the phone was already unlocked before entering the unlock code?
Maybe it said Failed because it was already unlocked?
Anyway, if the 3rd party SIMs are working, there's no problem is there?
Everything works, im just curious about that bug. I tried 3 different SIM and its unlocked

Unlock prompt not opening

S5 galaxy on sprint network not offering prompt for unlock code. Phone was given by a friend along with unlock code but foreign SIM card and reboot only messages "error SIM card" instead of the prompt to enter unlock code.

Bootloader unlocking problem

Yesterday i visited moto care centre and they flash firmware. Thereafter I tried to unlock my bootloader at home with my previous unlock code but show error with key. I requested on motorola site to get bootloader code again by entering oem get unlock data but it shows bootloader cannot be unlocked. Before yesterday I lock and unlocked bootloader several times but now after service centre visit it is not unlocking. Searched other thread but none works even tried to contact motorola but they also have no idea.
I am not toooo good but i guess the passkey is changed correct me if i am wrong and i am not sure abt it
The data string u get while typing
"fastboot oem get unlock data" might be changed.
Do the complete process again by getting that string and putting it on the Moto site and get the unlock key on your mail. Maybe there would be a different key this time.

Already did that.. But now at moto site after putting unlock data it is showing not available for unlocking..
Make sure you connect your Google account to Motorola account in phone settings.,..and allow unlocking bootloader in developer settings....

Exactly. Your Moto I'd should be logged in.
I was facing this issue your device not available for unlocking. And when I signed in it was all fine. Try that out.
That's all I know.
It was due to server error of moto.. Continuously submitting the unlock data for 6-7 times solve the problem

I've made the same mistake. I received a repaired device from LG not knowing they sent it back with the AT&T software network locked. I flashed to Google Fi image and now I can't enter my unlock code. This 546368 code gives me a special menu but nowhere to enter an unlock code.
Edit: I followed the steps above but they didn't work exactly for me so here's exactly what I did:
1. Flash to this firmware: V350AWMH10a_06_TCL_MX_OP_0424.kdz firmware from lg-firmwares (sorry I'm too new I'm not allowed to post links)
2. Set up the device just enough to get to a phone dialer prompt
3. Dial 2945#*350# (no need to press "call")
4. Select the first option, "Network lock"
5. Enter your unlock code
That worked perfectly! Thank you for sharing.
