Galaxy S5 unlock unsuccessful bug - Galaxy S 5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I received my unlock from my provider. After turning on phone with unspported sim i got a message to enter unlock code. I entered it and it says : network unlock unsucessiful, and that message dissapear. But after few sec i got initial screen on samsung and i saw that network actually work and my phone is unlocked, i tried with thrid provider and also work. Is that some kind of bug in lollipop or ?

Did you test if the phone was already unlocked before entering the unlock code?
Maybe it said Failed because it was already unlocked?
Anyway, if the 3rd party SIMs are working, there's no problem is there?

Everything works, im just curious about that bug. I tried 3 different SIM and its unlocked

SIM Security Error Optimus L7

Hello!
The phone is an Optimus L7 (P700) OpenEU FW V20D, BL unlocked & rooted (locked on Orange network).
Playing with the secret unlock menu, i entered a code randomly (aka found on internet) for unlocking. It failed, 9/10 remaining etc.
I used it normally but never restarted it (i think). Today after installing whatsapp over wifi, the initalizing from within the app seemed stuck. So i just took the battery out. It booted normally, asked me the SIM code, i entered it, it accepts it, but there was the SIM icon with Security Error near it. The phone doesn't connect to the network, and the sim is not seen by the phone (though it asks me the SIM code after boot). I can use the phone normally (aka menu is working, different apps are working except wifi, that only works if there's no physical SIM etc). I did Recovery Phone from LGMST (LGMobile Support Tool), it flashed the Orange branded V20C.
The error still persists (the SIM icon with Security Error).
Any ideas are more than welcomed please.
LE : I fixed it by using an unlock code, since the phone was locked onto Orange.

I'll copy and paste the instructions that my cellphone unlocker service gave me. The should be the same for all Note 3s.
---------- Instructions ----------
Read This First
* With the provided Unlock codes, if you are receiving "Code Error" or "Sim Network Unlock Unsuccessful, DO NOT WORRY! proceed to the "Trouble Shooting" section on how to proceed.
* Make sure "Airplane Mode" and "Wi-Fi" is turned off under wireless connections if your Samsung is an Android device.
There are Multiple Unlock Codes provided, which one do I use?
If you only received 1 Unlock Code, Don't worry about this part, use the code provided above.
* Unlock Code is the Network=xxxxxxxx is the Unlock Code as shown below:
Example:
NETWORK=xxxxxxxx; PROVIDER=xxxxxxxx; SUBPROVIDER=xxxxxxxx; DEFREEZE=xxxxxxxx
* You can ignore the rest of the codes, unless you are receiving a "Phone Freeze" message when trying to input the Unlock Code.

Samsung Galaxy J1 (SM-J100F) PUK Unlock issue

Hi, I have got an issue with my Samsung Galaxy J1 (SM-J100F) KSA version. I got the PIN wrong 3 times and the phone started asking for the PUK. I tried with the PUK given by the Network provider and it doesn't work. Removed the SIM and tried with a new SIM still not asking for PUK and hence no access to SIM Network. Then I tried to flash the ROM using Odin Downloader. Odin status shows "PASS" but the Phone is not booting up. I tried a few times but result was the same. Later used Kies3 "Firmware Re-Initialization" to restore the ROM. Now the phone boots up but asking for PUK. Someone please suggest me a solution. Thanks

Galaxy S5 G900W8 Cyanongen 14 dec 15 nightly klte phone wont process carrier unlock.

basic desc in the title.
I'm tring to perform a carrier unlock. I have the proper code for my IMEI but the auto screen just stays endlessly stuck saying Registering Sim network unlock... it doesn't error confirm reject nothing. resetting and toggling airplane mode do nothing. I've tried unlocking from the dial pad but it just says mobile networks not available.
I'm moving from rogers to telus Rogers sim card works fine, anything else seems to not work.
In the setting menu I can see various network providers, but I cannot manually connect to one.
It's been giving me difficulty putting stock rom back on but as I understand it the rooted OS shouldn't be preventing the unlock.
please send help.
Can it be cured with fire?

I have an (originally Sprint) S10+ running on T-Mo. CSC SW says TMB/TMB/SPR, the phone has been approved for unlock via T-Mo. Thinking of flashing..

I have an (originally Sprint) S10+ running on T-Mobile, CSC SW version says TMB/TMB/SPR, the phone has been approved for unlock via T-Mobile and T-Mo says to go to Settings, Connections, More connection settings and that the unlock button will be there. There is nothing there...
On this phone (unlike my other S10 and my S22U) it seems the unlock button is under Settings, Software update, and there is a button called UICC Unlock there, but when I press it, it says The network is preparing your services please wait, and then shows Sim restricted.
I'm not sure what's going on. I'm positive T-Force did the unlock properly as they even showed me a screen shot snippet via Twitter T-Force DM showing they had approved the phone (whitelisted it for SIM unlock).
I'm thinking of flashing it to the U1 XAA variant to see if then the unlock button will work properly as I'm pretty sure it's on the phone's end not on T-Mobile's end...thoughts?
Thanks for any help you can provide!
