screen protectors for Kaiser

Iam Searching for high quality screen protectors for my Kaiser, because the includes has many scratches, i think made with stylus and fingernails
I search one which is working nice with touchscreen, scratch resitend and not so much reflecting light from behind
do you know good ones?

Generally the same as a desktop screen in difference. You get brighter more vibrant colors with the glossy ones, but you pay for it in glare/reflection on the device. Matt screens are better in brighter environments, and I personally like how they feel under my fingers better. The matte also reduces viewing angles which might be a plus for privacy.
Alot of people turn the brightness down on battery power, so keep this in mind since the matte will kind of "dull" the image quality. Text also isn't as sharp on the matte.
I am a fan of JavoEdge (JavoScreens), and I have both the matte and glossy and after trying both for about a week each I've decided I like the glossy better.
Redundant...
There are already at least 3 threads covering this, revisit one of them.

Screen protector recommendations

when I had my cliq I was a huge fan of Boxwave Anti-glare screen protector.it took a little bit away from screen clarity but made up for it with superior gliding ability and easy application, not too mention almost eternal life-span...however, now that I have a screen worth showing off, what would be the best screen protector that preserves clarity, but also has a good feel?
The realook screen protectors are great. Just make sure you read and follow the instructions.

Realook ones are by far the best.

I like these guys - http://www.ghost-armor.com/ they have a kiosk in the malls near me and they do a much better job of applying SP's than I can.
If I were going to do my own I'd buy something from Zagg and put it on...
Zagg = Sticky! Not good.
My wife has been using Zagg stuff for a few years, and I always hated the 'sticky' element. Smoothing dragging is impossible with their product.
A few months ago there was a convo on here, and the guy from Phantom Skinz popped in. I grabbed their Carbon-Fiber skin (came with 2 screen protectors), and I have been _Extremely_ happy. People often comment on the skin (and I have a custom metamorph for nearly the entire phone - which throws people off as well), and the screen protector isn't sticky at all, and has held up very well under my abuse.
Couldn't recommend them enough.
Like everyone else Realook is the best out there, I promise it is like is not even there, sometimes I even forget I have it on.
I have 3 Vibrants with Realook and they are virtually invisible.
I tried them all... errr, ok I only tried the store bought tmo brand on my Vibrant, but nothing compares to the "Realook" brand. Ive had BSE and ZAGG on previous phones but the realook is the ONLY one that has ever looked 100% invisible like the screen is naked. This in itself makes it worth every penny considering how important it is to NOT cover our amazing AMOLED screen. And not to mention that the darn thing practically installs itself. Ive never seen such a ridiculously easy SP application. I remember thinking to myself, "crap I could have thrown the SP at the phone and it would have installed just fine" LOL, I'm not kidding, I really did think this...
Realook hands down.... period!
Another vote for Realook and big vote against Zagg. There are people who swear by them and say everyone else is installing them wrong, but mine was terrible. Luckily they do have a 100% refund policy
Steinheil's are also pretty good.
With either Realook or Steinheil, get the crystal clear kind. Can't tell it's there at all.
Another vote for Realook. I've tried a ton of screen protectors, and these are by far the best. I cannot even tell there is a screen protector on.
And the price is good. I think I paid $10.99 with free shipping for 2 of them. They sell them themselves on eBay and Amazon.
I was a skeptic but tried the RL due to the popularity on here. It is very good. I would recommend splitting the costs with another XDA user. Also, while it is a good SP, I still do not believe one is needed, and it WILL add a lot of finger smudges.
I've tried many screen protectors, believe it or not, I like the generic universal screen protectors from tmo that you cut to size yourself.
has worked great!
I vote for Martin Fields, barely visible. Only problem is you see fingerprints when the screen is off. (no biggy)
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA App
I vote for REALook, not visible what so ever. Finger prints though are worse than ive seen on any other screen protector, at least I think so. But it cleans well and like I said its like the no screen protector real look, hence the name.
The best I have seen are the "Cellet" brand from Frys (saves shipping too).
I've used the real look ones, the cellet are a bit clearer.
Yes I know....you just have to see for yourself.
I don't have a screen protector on, I like just having gorilla glass. Unless you carry around an open blade in your pocket I see no need. I've TRIED to key my screen and that didn't even scratch it
I agree with the previous poster, unless you travel with a pocket full of diamonds the Gorilla glass will obviate the need for a screen protector.
I disagree with both previous posters. Ive seen plenty of gorilla glass scratches to date, one in fact got terribly scratched from top to bottom and the upset owner never identified what the culprit was, all he found in his pocket next to his phone was small amounts of lint. I dont care how hard this glass is, its going to stay pristine and Im not going to take the chance with even the smallest scratch. I may be extra extra careful with this phone, but if I decide to go naked that will be the same day that this phone decides to fly out of my hand and onto the concrete below face first... No freggin way thank you very much. lol
I have a Droid X with gorilla glass and thought I was being careful.
I did get a couple of very small scratches in the glass, so I wound up using a protector.
The reallook ones are very good.

Opinions on screen protectors?

I can lurk no further.
I've never actually purchased a screen protector before... But looking around at all these choices... So confusing!
From what I've gathered.

http://www.bestskinsever.com/google-nexus-4-skin
http://xoskins.com/cell-phone-skin-...protectors/google-nexus-4-full-body-protector
Are the best options. But some people seem to want the dry screen protectors and I have no idea why, I work at Best Buy and people seem to love the Zagg ones. They are easy to install too. Not cheap, About 25 HD one and 15 for installation for the iPad Mini. But everybody here comments on how crappy Zagg is. I looked at the Skinomi full bodies and I like the idea. Since the N4 has a nice design on the back, I don't want to cover that up with something other than a clear protector.
I'm not really sure which ones are the "best". For my gnex I ended up buying a 6 pack of cheap-o's for like $1.20 and they worked fine. If I end up getting any for my nexus 4 I think I will just do the body one and not the screen. I have never scratched a screen before, am very careful with my devices, but I feel like since the back is glass that could easily get scratched. I dont want to have an amazing screen and have to ruin it by putting a piece of plastic over it. Quick question though, what factors are you interested in in finding the best screen protector?

I suppose using a screen protector will destroy the whole purpose of the 'zerogap' display tech right

My personal experience with the full body skins is generally poor. It may due to my lack of skills but I find putting on the back protector utterly infuriating due to the fact that getting the sides and corners to fit perfectly well to be very difficult. I have watched suggestions from some installation videos that ask for the use of a hair dryer to help the corners stick but in general I don't get an exactly perfect fit.
I usually just stick to a generic front faced screen protector, it doesn't seem to be worth it to pay around $20 for essentially a piece of plastic over my screen.

You took a ton of pictures! Ive never had a 100% invisible screen protector, always made the screen look just a tad worse no matter what. I just feel like the plastic holds the oil from your hands a lot worse than glass.

I was always against screen protectors too but after scratching my screen I now buy like 2 dozen cheap ones from e-bay and use those. It takes me about 6 tries every time I put one on. I don't believe all the hype about one being better than another. Some of the higher priced ones come from the same company with different cool names. Meh.

I used the cheap ebay ones for my galaxy nexus, they worked fine. They did collect a crazy amount of fingerprints though. I think it is better just to buy a 6 pack of those for about a dollar than 1 "good" one for like 15-20 bucks. Doesnt really make sense

You've clearly only used the crappy cheap eBay ones to make such a statement.
I've installed more than I'd like to admit, from manufacturers such as zagg, bodyguardz, phantom skinz, skinomi, BestSkinsEver etc etc
There are differences between all.
There are ones that are better than others.

Which do you recommend as the best? I feel like most cheap generic ones take on fingerprints easily and I've never tried a good brand, so I might be willing to buy one this time around.
There should be a small gap between the frame and the back glass, maybe the screen protector could just fit in it, if you know what I mean

I love Realook on eBay. Their screen protectors look and feel just like the glass in my opinion. Perfectly sized and self adhesive. I hate the ones that require moisture to put on and are stretchy and have the rubbery/orange peel effect. Once I discovered Realook, I buy all my protectors from them. And no, I do not work for them, I just feel that strongly about them haha. My phone screen might not ever get scratched without it, because I am careful, but this at least gives me the peace of mind to not worry.
In my experience, screen protectors are a necessity. Screens may be very scratch resistant, but the keyword is "resistant". There are several minerals that can scratch the screen with ease, and they can be found in many places, even the little grooves of gunked up coins. My wife has scratched almost every phone screen she has had once the screen protector comes off. Whether she keeps it in her clean purse or in her pocket, it doesn't matter.
Take a look at a Realook link: Realook screen protectors
Also, what about tempered glass screen protectors?

btw, is ur one X quad core or dual core? if it's the quad core, did you experience wifi connectivity problems?
Every time I get a new phone, I have this renewed temptation to find the least horrible looking matte protector. The feeling is just so hard to resist.
I've yet to find one I can stand to look at, though.

I currently have a Skinomi on my Optimus V, and it has treated me well. It was wet apply, and after more than 2 years, it is only just beginning to peel off in the place where it was slightly off when I applied it. It's completely transparent (you can only tell it's there in certain light, plus the fact it's peeling in the one spot ) and very resistant to fingerprints. I pretty much only have to wipe the screen off if I've eaten something greasy and then touched the screen. It is also very easy to slide your finger over it. It also has a lifetime warranty so if it breaks I can send it in and get a new one for free!
I think I'm going to try out a BestSkinEver for the N4 though. I like the idea of a full body (sides, back, front, camera, etc) protector. Plus its relatively cheap and I've heard only good things about them.

[REVIEW] Phantomskinz Ultra Clear Full Body

I have used and tried all screen protectors in the past from Zagg, Skinomi, Dbrand etc but I find myself always going back to Phantomskinz. In my opinion, Phantomskinz has the best overall feel of any one of them. This full body ultra clear gives the phone an amazing grip and it also gives it this glass like smooth feeling. I paid to upgrade my shipping speed since they just released it on Friday and I am glad I did! This is a wet install process so you need to take your time and wait over night for the bubbles to go away. I love this screen protector because I can keep the natural beauty of the phone with the amazing protection this skin offers. I showed my wife and she could not even tell the full body screen protector was on the phone, lol.
I tested my phantomskinz with the fingerprint lock screen and the SPen and everything worked flawlessly. To all those who bought this Phantomskinz, I hope you enjoy yours as much as I enjoy mine. I attached are some pics… Came out Awesome! Highly recommend!

One question, I have used skinomi protectors in past devices, and my only complait is that the spen leaves marks that last for some days, does this skin you are talking about is better at this?
I believe what you just said is one of the main reasons why phantomskinz is much better than skinomi and I have used skinomi as well. There are no s pen marks with phantomskinz.
Hi stu5797,
Thanks for the nice review of our Ultra Clear skin. Looks like you did a GREAT job with the installation :good::good:

As stu5797 suggested, our product is pretty unique in the self-healing skinz marking in that it don't get impressions from styluses with normal use. Of course if you push really hard or intentionally try to damage the skin, you can. We will actually be posting a video on our YouTube channel later today showing S-Pen use on the Note 10+ and the lack of impressions. Let us know if you have any further questions
Just saw your video and gave it a thumbs up! I am really enjoying your product! So cool to have the full body protection and so smooth! Thanks so much.
If you would like I can post my review on the Note 10 Forum...
Just wanted to follow up and let everyone know a week has gone by and the skin is still perfect. Really love how the s pen works with the skin and the overall protection it gives my new Note 10.
Just ordered the case friendly ultra clear screen protectors. Hoping they live up to expectations
Awesome. Hope you enjoy yours as much as I enjoy mine!
Pretty cool huh mys3?
did you have to remove samsung screen protector that comes with it...??
Yes, you have to remove the samsung screen protector in order to put this phantomskimz on there. If you think you like the Samsung screen protector you are going to love the new one. It's night and day

Thanks for your recommendation. I originally bought slickrwraps and boy was that a mistake. It was very hard to work with and both films I got went into the trash. I've done wet application before and prefer it over dry so I thought it was going to be easy. But Nope.
I really like this phantomskinz. It was so much easier to apply cause of the plastic film on top of the actual skin. I was able to squeeze most of the water out cause of it and made it easier to align and reposition. It's about 98% as smooth as the glass but I do like it better that way as it makes the fingerprint reader work better since my thumb isn't slipping on the scanner. Scanner works so much better with this on. I got the case friendly version and the screen protector does not get in the way of my spigen hybrid S case. The back skin is still ege to edge which is good. The bottom skin doesn't fully cover though cause of the spen. But I'm fine with that. I've already recommended it to a friend. Thanks again.
Just placed a order for my Note 10 Plus.
Hope it's much better then the slickwrap skin.
I definitely think you will find your phantomskinz is superior to slick wraps.
Are the top and bottom panels of the phone covered like the speaker grills, etc?
If I have whitestone dome, can I get the back protection only?
I'm using Slickwraps matte back with the Phantomskinz only on the screen ... Install came out perfect [emoji108].. I'm just not happy with the smudges on the protector .. I feel it's more than the original from Samsung and my screen naked ...
Note10+
Bought the clear full body case friendly one. I hope when the bubble settles, the surface is going to feel smooth. It says supposely no orange peel effect at all.
