[App Beta Testing] Looking for Beta Testers for Simply Alarm Holo - Android Software Development

Beta Test is FREE.
I would like to invite you to participate in Beta Testing for Simply Alarm Holo. I am periodically working on new features and would like to get your input on things that work, things that are broken, etc. If you participate in Beta testing I would appreciate feedback on features, themes, things that work well, things that could be improved.
It is not always guaranteed that everything will be working perfectly (usually part of Beta testing) but for the most part, things will work.
EDIT: Beta testing now open for Gingerbread+.
Phone and Tablet users welcome.
Steps for participating in Beta Testing:
1) Request to join the Simply Alarm Beta Testing Google+ community:

2) Wait patiently until I accept the invitation request
3) Follow the link on the community page titled "Link for getting started with Beta Testing"
4) Once you have accepted the invitation to be a beta tester, Simply Alarm Holo (Beta) releases will be available for you from the Play Store.

Hey sorry I didn't reply sooner. But I believe you are already on the community site. Not having the pebble does not matter at! This is a fully functional alarm app WITH pebble integration.

Beta period complete
This beta period is complete. Thank you for your interest. I will post again when the beta starts on the next major update.

Atrix Beta Program

Hi everyone. I frequently see people here reference the Atrix Beta Program. I think I may have got my Atrix after the sign ups for the Beta program happened. Does anyone know if there is a way to still sign up?
They have sign ups every time a new update is going to begin testing and they publicly stated they were going to start over with all new testers for the next update due to repeated leaks. You haven't missed a thing.
Sent from my MB860 using XDA App
That's good news. Thanks for the info.

I love how they blame the beta testers for leaking, maybe they should look closer to home.... THere employees know how we all want up to date software.

Of course it was beta testers. As soon as the last beta came out, (and the 4.1.57 beta), all the info about it was being posted everywhere, requests for update files, instructions on how to pull the update files from your phone, etc. Moto also disabled many beta tester accounts because testers were stupid enough to post in forums such as XDA with the same forum names.
It seems that when a beta comes out, a very large percentage of the testers try to be the first to post about them, and get the files up for download. This type of behaviour is exactly what results in closed and open beta testing being stopped by many companies. More often than not it's easier to do that than try to track down the people blatantly disregarding the NDA and banning them.
Fully agree. too many sign up just to be the person that spreads it across the net.

[CLOSED]OnePlus Has Invited User Participation Into Their New MP Early Access Program

OnePlus has invited its customers into their new MP Early Access Programme.
https://forums.oneplus.net/threads/mp-early-access-program.507605/
According to the thread, Oneplus' Customer Base can now participate in a selection for the new MP (Mass Production) Software Testing Team.
This new team will be given "Near-OTA-Ready" builds of the Oxygen OS for a final run before it is released as OTA to the masses.
How it works :
The CBT (Closed Beta Testing) Team will test out the early versions of a new build. They find, report and fix as much bugs they could.
Then it is passed on to Open Beta Users where any left out bugs are detected and final suggestions and improvement requests from the wider user base is taken.
Then comes the role of MP team, where you will get Near-OTA-Ready builds for another final round of testing.
Once the build passes the MP team, it is released as OTA to the rest of the user base.
The Eligibility Criteria is rather simple :
You should be owning an OP3/3T.
Be a moderate to heavy user, willing to spare some time off for testing the builds.
Any experience in testing ROMs (both Official and Custom) would greatly add to your chance of getting selected. They are expecting around 150 people.
If you are interested, feel free to fill out this Google form; https://goo.gl/forms/cSMXSlkhPgLwTB283 ; which is also there at the bottom of the OP ,back at the Oneplus Forums.
More info can be found in the OP. (link posted at the top of this post)
Goodluck:good:
Nice! But I fell like this should go into the news section.

Yeah but since its concerning both 3 and 3T users, I felt this would be the right place. Anyways I'll consult with a mod and do the necessary.
Thanks.
Just signed up!

I've reported the thread and moved it into a General Section. Thanks @domosicecream and @SynisterWolf

I went ahead and duplicated this thread in OP3 and left a link to this thread so we can keep all the post in one location.
Going to change ownership to you OP. incoming.
Oneplus has closed the invite as they have reached over 1000 applications. Good Luck for all those who applied. :good:

Galaxy S8/S8+ ROM third release is out with 90% OneUI 2.0 ported apps, heavy debloat

I started a new OneUI build with the latest security patch, 90% OneUI 2.0 apps ported including Messages, Phone, Gallery, Calendar and lot more with OneUI 2.0 statusbar.
Heavily debloated(around 1.5-2Gb)
I can't make a thread in Cross Device Development because I just made the account.
Already got Telegram group, with people happy with the new release, and snappy as hell
I would gently ask someone to let me post my new build in Cross Device Development.
If anyone interested in the ROM join @horizononerom telegram group, you can find everything there.
Have a nice day
Hey, could you please send a link to the telegram? Seems I cannot use the name you provided.
