[Q] How many Blue tooth devices... - Nexus 7 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

How many Blue tooth devices can i have active at the same time? I just discovered I can have my keyboard and a wireless headset synced at the same time. Can I add a third device? I wanted to get rid of my OTG wired mouse and purchase a wireless mouse and leave the port open for charging. With this setup I won't have to ever carry my laptop around as this provide everything I need on a portable computer.

I've used a BT mouse and keyboard on my N7 simultaneously. Though I don't have a BT headset or stereo headphones yet, I'm willing to bet that it could be added to the mix, as it uses a different BT profile.

In my car, I have an A2DP adapter, OBD2, and my phone with Tablet Talk all at once.

Ok, i will purchase a bluetooth rechargeable mouse today and report.

Ok so I bought an HP bluetooth mouse and now I have the keyboard, headset and mouse all synced at the same time! I'm leaving my laptop at home from now on!

Bad news, for some reason my keyboard is repeating strokes. I suspect the addition of the wireless mouse had something to do with it. Anyone else experienced this before?

A BT keyboard may repeat strokes anyway. Get 'external keyboard helper' from the play store, and you can configure things like repeat delay to help sort it out.

Thank you so much Sir! I will try this out before I return my new mouse. :highfive:

Nope, that didn't work for me. Thanks for the suggestion! I am using a regular OTG wireless keyboard and I do not have the repeating key problem. I might buy a OTG+ charging cable in order to use my tablet as a laptop and charge it at the same time.

Bluetooth keyboard

I bought the Logitech keyboard for my nexus and this morning I cannot pair the two? It has worked fine up until I got to class this morning. I use this feature so much that it renders this thing worthless to me. Anyone have any ideas? Can I go back to 4.1? I use this for school so much and if I can't get it paired I'm going to get rid of it because its useless without it might as well go back to a laptop.

ordering bluetooth keyboard, on android stick will already be switched on? jb iphone

im ordering a bluetooth keyboard, but wondering would i need to attach a normal keyboard first to switch on the bluetooth setting on the android stick? or will it already be activated
please let me know.. because i am wondering how else would i control the android stick? i dont have a usb keyboard/wirleess keyboard
is there anything i can do via jailbroken iphone?
Bluetooth is typically off by default.
You will probably need a mouse and keyboard to navigate into settings and type any pairing codes. So yea you'll need something.
I recommend an RC11 Air Mouse/Keyboard ~$20

My mk809 has a really weak bluetooth receiver. It left me disappointed and Ill probably never use it as a result.

Motorola BT Keyboard & Mouse

I have a Motorola BT Keyboard & Mouse that I have had since my Motorola Atrix days. The mouse connects right away but the keyboard won't. It shows up in the devices but when I go to connect it flashes a code to type in, it flashes so fast you cannot read a code let alone enter it in time.
Any thoughts?
Thanks
anyone?
Are you running 4.2.2?

I believe it works with some Android's this way BUT will not work with Nexus phones due to MTP.

Is there anyway to get mtp? Or get rid of it?

As far as I am aware, the N4 will NOT mount on any PC (or car stereo) in as a standard drive anymore.
So unless you have a car stereo that supports MTP, it won't work. You cannot resurrect normal file-system mounting. Well, you can by making you phone a SMB share, but I believe that only works over WiFi.
