Good (splashscreen) idea for changing your SplashScreen

Yesterday I was browsing the Wizard area of the XDA FTP server and I bumped into a file called SplashscreenStuff.zip
So I downloaded it, read the ReadMe file and thought, this looks kinda easy, let's see if it's possible to change my SplashScreen (on a 2.18 Qtek Rom).
So I opened Photoshop looked at some existing splashscreen's and adjusted one to make it "my own".
The funny thing is, this SplashScreen can be useful if your device gets stolen (it is shown about 20 seconds on start-up on my device).
Take a look at it and if someone is interested in the Photoshop file, to adjust it to make it yours, feel free to leave a message here and I will make sure you get all the files you need.

Anti theft tattoo ?
I would really like to know if this can really work as a anti-theft strategy. At worst, the "finder" of the device can flash a new ROM, can't he? Is there any really anti-theft strategy?
the picture is not displayed!!! why??
How can I make my own splashscreen?
try this thread
The tools are old, and they have been ported to ROM-kitchens also, but they do work.

GSM 'Brick' background on CDMA?

Hey all, I'd like to know how I can get the 'brick' style background on all my tabs like the GSM version of the phone has. I have the Sprint version of the phone and it includes a black background.

I will see what i can do... I have to find which manila files to change...
but it will take a while, don't have the time right now...
Maybe someone else will beat me to it!?
Awesome ^_^
Well, there is a thread called "no bricks" which does exactly the opposite. I don't like the bricks
So, before applying that patch, i backed up my original bricks file, which should work for you.
Here you go (untested though! Make sure you back up the file too):
my "bricks" don't look as good as the pic above. mine are more round and spaced further. that does look way better.

Cheers : )
Speaking as a woman finding themes is hard. Seeing as how I hate blue, green and find black boring. I lean more toward Red, Purple and Golds. It is very hard when you have no talent to make these yourself. I for one am one of these people, so I have to rely on people who have talent in this area.
I found a bling theme that I love wish someone would do it for TP2 it can be found here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=468044 I did try it on my TP2 and ended up doing a hard reset.
But I have found some ROM's you can't do background on all, but with b16b Sense 23506 I can use this attached Rose theme. A very kind person over in the HD Wallpaper thread made it for me.
This is where u wanna go bro :

Drop the "flipping" clock

Is there a way to bypass the "flipping" clock on the Home tab. It looked cute to begin with but I'm get annoyed by it now (after less than a week - boy is my tollerence low )
one more!
at least if someone could let us know how to stop the fckng animation... it's driving me crazy!
don't think it can be done, besides... why is it driving you guys crazy? are you staring at it 24/7? i don't even notice the animations anymore, i just need to know the time.
Personally, I miss the classic "Winmo 6/6.1" (I think) digital clock. If there's a way to restore it, that would be awesome.

Teach-A-Baby(In Development)

Hey everyone, just want to share with all of you an app idea i am currently working in developing. I would love to hear some advice and what can be done to make it better.
The point of this app is kind of straight forward. It is to teach kids their ABC's, how to count, their colors and to include some lullabies as well.
Currently i dont have the images i need so for now in the image below i only have the color red and an A in the middle. The scree i swipeable so when you swipe it goes to the next letter and pronounces it automatically out loud. Each letter will have a different background, NOT A COLOR, for example A will have a background of an apple, B will be a Bear, C could be a Cat and so on...
As of now i dont know how the app will look in its final stage but this is what i got so far.
The app just started being developed, so far not much is done but updates as it goes on will be posted. Thanks
Here are some images in order of how they load. The main Page has a sliding drawer from the left side of the screen which will have options such as rate us, Like Us on FB and Twitter, About Us, Contact Us and so on. The menu is not done and it is very ugly and unorganized so i didnt post a picture with it open.

Changed Lullabies button and created the Lullabies UI
This doesn't seem to have anything to do with java
