Good (splashscreen) idea for changing your SplashScreen - 8125, K-JAM, P4300, MDA Vario General

Yesterday I was browsing the Wizard area of the XDA FTP server and I bumped into a file called SplashscreenStuff.zip
So I downloaded it, read the ReadMe file and thought, this looks kinda easy, let's see if it's possible to change my SplashScreen (on a 2.18 Qtek Rom).
So I opened Photoshop looked at some existing splashscreen's and adjusted one to make it "my own".
The funny thing is, this SplashScreen can be useful if your device gets stolen (it is shown about 20 seconds on start-up on my device).
Take a look at it and if someone is interested in the Photoshop file, to adjust it to make it yours, feel free to leave a message here and I will make sure you get all the files you need.

Anti theft tattoo ?
I would really like to know if this can really work as a anti-theft strategy. At worst, the "finder" of the device can flash a new ROM, can't he? Is there any really anti-theft strategy?

the picture is not displayed!!! why??

How can I make my own splashscreen?

try this thread
The tools are old, and they have been ported to ROM-kitchens also, but they do work.

UK Radio Stations - UltimateLaunch

Okay ... I've read through the rules and I can't see how this may break them, so apologies in advance if they do. Also I don't know if anyone would find this useful, but I thought as I had gone to the effort of making it, I would at least share it, as I have got so many great things from here in the past.
So a run down of what it is.
This is for UltimateLaunch. I created a new tab just for online UK radio stations on my HTC Elf. In the file attached, you should find all links to the stations shown in the example below, plus 32 & 48 size XP-Icons. It's easy to setup for anyone who has used UltimateLaunch before. You will need RealMedia player (or substitue) installed, plus WMP.
If anyone finds this useful, please let me know & if you would like any radio stations added also mention that here & I'll try my best. Plus if I've made any mistakes also tell me.

Click to collapse
I will see what i can do... I have to find which manila files to change...
but it will take a while, don't have the time right now...
Maybe someone else will beat me to it!?
Awesome ^_^
Well, there is a thread called "no bricks" which does exactly the opposite. I don't like the bricks
So, before applying that patch, i backed up my original bricks file, which should work for you.
Here you go (untested though! Make sure you back up the file too):
my "bricks" don't look as good as the pic above. mine are more round and spaced further. that does look way better.

Tnx developers
These geniuses are working on it. LINK
PS: You made me puke a little though
as said prior to my post, it's being worked on, though there will inevitably be some problems.
Dont forget that with the Apple community the need to unlock is much greater than here (no unlock required to access the system etc) and so you will most likely find a lack of interest by developers to add applications into this software as the Windows Mobile operating system hasn't really changed much in the sense that it has always allowed for custom apps and tweaking etc, much like Windows.
Other than that, i hope it really does do well because i think it could be a great addition if enough developers get on to it and use it :L)
In kaiser forum someone relased a ROM called T.I.R., this ROM has embedded a Pocket Download Manager that does exactly this!
Maybe someone could ask there.
Ciao, Andrea

I have a dark colored theme on my phone, so I decided to make my calculator match everyhing else on the phone a little better. I was to lazy to create all new buttons, so I just switched the normal ones for the pressed ones and vice versa. Thought I'd post it up here in case anybody else wants. Just copy all the image files in the folder into /Windows on your phone, you shouldnt even need to soft reset.
Edit: Delete the files in the folder relating to Rad and deg, they mess it up. Just leave your normal Rad, deg, and deg_dn images in Windows and it'll be fine. Also the Fn button images should be switched. Just rename them so that function.png is function_dn.png and function2 is function2_dn.
for some reason it wont let me attach the .7z
so heres a rapidshare link
http://rapidshare.com/files/379360905/Flipped_Calc_Images.7z.html
I dont have an account so its probly limited to like 10 d/l's or something, I know alot of filehosting sites do that for free users. If needed, I can re-up it just pm me
sorry for the double post, I thought maybe it just wouldnt let me attach that much stuff in one post so I tried on a second post (obviously it didnt work)
