No I think they're used, but they repackage it and clean them up. They don't accept them if there's anything wrong with them.

T-mobile HD2 price released...hope Evo is priced lower

T-Mobile USA are offering their HD2 on an Even More plan for $199.99 ($250 online discount), or a contract-free Even More Plus plan for $449.99. Here's an article about it:
T-mobile HTC HD2
This is good news because I don't think the EVO will be priced higher than this phone. So far windows mobile phones are priced higher than android phones (coming the HTC hero phones and the touch pro2, or you can compare the samsung moment with the touch pro2)
I would LOVE a $450 price point. I heard someone talking $700-800, and I thought that was absolutely ridiculous. $450-550 sounds like the sweet spot.
That's actually not a bad price. The Nexus One w/o a contact is $529.00. So, by the time you get through your new contract discount and web special discount and mail in rebate it's in a very reasonable price bracket.

You hope the Evo is priced lower? I'm sure everyone wishes it would just be free, but it isn't realistic. The Evo is similar to an HD2 but with amped up camera, WiMAX capable, front facing cam, and of course android. Why would a far superior phone be priced lower? Would a supercharged v8 mustang be cheaper than the v6? Hells no.

I guess I'm a lucky one

There's two people selling there Evo for $200 so I'm lucky question is should I wait for the 4 or buy it now
buy it outright that way you don't sign a 2 year contract. if you activate a phone that YOU own you don't sign a contract. It's month to month. PM me and let me know if the other one is for sale. I'll buy it now.

I ordered one Friday for $389 from Expansys, put in the wrong address, PayPal asked for more security info. In the meantime, order was cancelled by Expansys. Today they are $409. Expansys says I'm SOL. Whats the opposite of score, because that's what I did, lol.
Well I ordered through expansys on amazon, cross my fingers mine isn't cancelled >_<

White Note 2 - $589 shipped - eBay deal of the day

And so it begins. Great price!

Mine arrived this morning from Newegg. Kind of bummed about the price I paid ($630) but oh well. Prices are already dropping - now is the time to jump in!

So I have an upgrade waiting for me to use from Sprint, and I don't expect to be leaving them any time soon. Question: What are the advantages of purchasing an unlocked note 2 now (other than the contract independence)?

To be honest, I would like a NICE backup phone and for this price it's a hell of a bargain... IMO I know that prices will always fall but if your looking to use this on AT&T or Straight Talk in the US then it's a good deal considering that this device will get the updates quicker (usually) and HSPA+ is fast enough for a lot of people... I will probably ditch one of my Galaxy S 3's to pay for this (mostly) and return this open boxed one that I just got on Monday cause it's acting weird and I paid for a "NEW" item and got an open-boxed N7100 so Amazon can handle that one since it was fulfilled by them... I will probably end up getting a Note 2 on Verizon once the bootloader is unlocked (which you know it will be!) and everything will be grand!! Thanks OP!

They said it'd be available at the carriers STARTING this week. A bit of a different claim, IMHO.
Why are all the deals on the white phones? Gimme a grey one for $589.00 Dammit lol

There is none, all these unlocked versions won't work on Sprints network...
I'm definitely happy that some are able to purchase these and I wouldn't hate but that seller seems to have some rough (recent) feedback.

I hope this is not a scam. 200 units sold and keep counting. There was a listing of galalxy s3 i9300 for $399 and they got over 200 units sold. And it turned out that the seller didn't have any unit in stocks.

What would be the actual shipping cost to Canada including insurance? Are you sure it is not a fair price? I know insurance can get pricey especially when shipping international.

Is there anywhere I can purchase a nexus 4 in person without paying the insane 500$ off contract at, say, t-mobile? I'm interested in getting the 16GB for 350$ in person. Can anyone help out?
