buy it outright that way you don't sign a 2 year contract. if you activate a phone that YOU own you don't sign a contract. It's month to month. PM me and let me know if the other one is for sale. I'll buy it now.

The costco thing isn't garunteed its just assumed. I asked a costco phone guys and that's what he expected the price to be since they sell the galaxy tab for $100 less than everyone else.
Today I have confirmed costco will have it for 699 and it will requirea one month activation.

I just called my Costco and they had nothing in their inventory about the Motorola Xoom, strange. It's stuff like this that makes me iffy that EVERY Costco will have it on release day, especially if it's not even on their website.

True, but as i said i actually read the first email myself. It said "as soon as the 22 they would have a live demo, as soon as the 24 they would have the sell units." I think the key is AS SOON AS. This means depending on previous sells and the area the costco is in, it may be different. It may be they are holding out info too. Let me see if i can get the item number real quick. <Not in the system yet> Also make sure you are asking for the phone kiosk, not the main store.

Lol dumb deal, you can sell online for alot more and if you didn't want to deal with anyone personally bestbuy offers a trade in for the evo for $140 in good condition.

Are you guys reading that right? The phone is $500 off contract or $200 with a contract... if you trade in your Evo you get an additional $100 off the $200 making the phone $100 WITH a new contract not existing contract... of course your existing contract wont stick.

I already got the Nexus S 4G. But I might have to grab one of these Evo's. But I'm afraid the bootloader will be encrypted like the HTC Sensation. I'm gonna give it some time first before I make my decision.

Yeah but you'd still get more than $150 on eBay. Especially if you sell now so it's still worth it.
You can sell an evo 4g on craigslist for $300 or so...why trade in for $100 - $140?

Ive never cared about that and ive sold a ton of stuff on cl. Trick is, meet em somewhere like in the food court at the mall or something. I mean yea if youre meeting up in a dark alley behind a building then you're just asking for it. And I dont care if they bring friends or not since I usually have 16 friends of my own sitting on my hip just in case.

I ordered one Friday for $389 from Expansys, put in the wrong address, PayPal asked for more security info. In the meantime, order was cancelled by Expansys. Today they are $409. Expansys says I'm SOL. Whats the opposite of score, because that's what I did, lol.
