Hi guys!
Can you please explain me why to get root privilage to the Wildfire? What can I will do with that privilage? Any cons?

I dont know exactly, but its for "enabling" you to do stuff that HTC dont want you too/they think is risky. For example, overclocking need root to work, and overclocking can damage your phone, and why would HTC want that? And other stuff like Market enabled for countries that arent allowed to have payed apps.
You basicly do what your not allowed too, I think. Experts, correct me if im wrong
Normaly it is good to have root access, altough a normal user doesn't gain anny profit from rooting it. But with root access you can, by example:
- install certain applications that need to place/modify files deep in your phone, like vpn connections, certain backup programs,..
- gain access to the international market
- install a different ROM. In case you don't know it (and forgive me if you do), a rom is the OS of your phone. Istalling a different ROM is like installing windows 7 on a computer that has windows vista
- ...
So you can custemize your phone as you would like it, and chance anything thats on it. The only problem (apart from the risk you are taking, like locking yourself out), is that you loose your product waranty..
In principle you should be able to unroot you phone, but i'm still wondering if you can make the phone dutch again (the language i bought it in), and if they realy can't notice that the phone has been rooted. So if you guys know the answer to that question, i'lld be happy to hear it ;-)
Hope that i'm a bit right, i'm for shure not an expert myself..

see....this is a very common asked question,
if you root your phone by propc method Link, it will give you a gingerbread theme.
but if you root your phone directly, then you will have same appearance, only there will be a Super User Permission app.
and you asked about gingerbread ROM, you wont get it now.
bcoz there is no custom ROM for it. developers are working hard to get it. so you need to wait for some time.
rooting is absolutely safe if you follow each step carefully.
i will recommend you to use this guide. Link
hope you succeed!

Easy root

Superoneclick has been updated for the atrix finally!:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=803682
I know there's other methods and haven't tested it on my phone but thought some of the "noobs" might wanna take a look

Need Root Exploit for Gingerbread 2.3.6

Hi XDAians, I am new here, I need help. (I have experience of Android since Android 1.5, I am new on XDA)
I have Samsung Galaxy y GT-S5360 and I have rooted it using hnkotnis's SGY Toolkit.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=50182901
Now I want to do something different. I rooted my old HTC Gingerbread phone with PC using USB with Root Exploits.
I used Root Exploits "psneuter", "Gingerbreak" & "Zergrush". None of them seem to work on Stock Gingerbread 2.3.6
I asked my friend Senior Member hnkotnis few days ago, he said he has exams. But now he has gone for a holiday vacation and his phone number is out of coverage area.
Please help me and give me WORKING root exploit. AND I don't want advices to use some Recovery zip.
My requirement is specific usb adb root exploit.
Thanks in advance for help.
waiting.............waiting...............waiting for help.
each phone has a different method of rooting - there is not always a one size fits all and not all phones can be rooted in the same way
you have already mentioned the common rooting tools
if there isnt a forum for the phone you want to root then its best to type into google how to root - xyz phone
I dont see the point in making an adb root for galaxy y when a simple update zip does the job

I want Root Exploit, not Rooting Software.
It seems you misunderstand me.
That Root Genius is a exe which is bundled with some Root Exploit. If you have that exploit or know how to extract it, please tell me.
And I know that USB Debugging thing. I have rooted more than 50 phones branded, chinese etc.
I dont need instructions of root. I want root exploit.
