Many super Fullhd Videos filmed with Note - Galaxy Note GT-N7000 General

Enjoy.. all from me: youtube... user: CREANOA

Can't see anything bro!!
Sent from my Samsung Galaxy Note using XDA Premium app.

You need to go to youtube and search for creanoa. Our note delivers good quality!

Very impressive!

link to CREANOA's youtube videos http://www.youtube.com/user/CREANOA?feature=watch
Nicely exposed. White balance a bit off on the snowy scenes and a bit of rolling shutter, but pretty impressive considering this is a camera phone . Even more amazing compared to what it would have cost only a few years ago to capture similar footage...

Thanks for feedbacks. Now i use super app VideoReg which you can also filming in fullhd on Note, best is you can record also gps data on video and show on the bottom direct on video. Examples will follow on my youtube channel

My example is now on my youtubechannel. The software delever outstandig full hd quality also at 50 fps !

What a weather! I live in France quite close to the Swiss border and here it's 12 degrees!
Nice vids btw

A couple of video tests at 720p at night

I was surprised when I hooked the phone up to my wd live plus on a 720p tv and saw the quality (for what it was, a cellphone). Here's a couple links of the test shots.

It sure beats the crap outta the moment's camera.
Sorry about the settings. I recorded in 720 but it's only going as high as 480 when I play it back. This is my first time uploading video to youtube so I don't know all the ins and outs.
awesome quality videos man.,.. i commented
youtube likes to convert it to low res for compatability, and after about 30-40 mins it will have the HD vers
Here's a video test indoor looking out a window at 720p. Figure it's semi on topic. I'm pretty impressed by the epic's camera.

****in AMAZING
I should record the same thing at the same time, side by side with the evo and epic. I don't know how to do that neat effect of either splitting both in half and paste one half on the other. I suppose an easier thing would be full video side by side at the same time. I erl have to find out how that effect is done.
Sent from my SPH-D700 using XDA App
i will try to do a side by side comparison of the 2 devices.. you have to do some type of adapter so you can record both at the same time. Lets see what i can do. and hope that i dont loss quality in the conversion
What surprises me is that there doesn't seem to be much difference between 480 and 720 record modes. I shot a quick video showing my new roller rockers on my car with the epic.

It takes pretty good video I think.
Lanikai beach in hawaii w/ epic 4g. I figured i'd post this on XDA forums too, sorry about the sound it's only windy at the start. This was just a quick test to see how clear it was without changing any settings.

EVO Video is Good!

While I was racing last Wednesday evening, my wife took a video using the EVO. Now this is night time at the Las Vegas Speedway "The Strip" The video I thought was great. She has since changed some setting that seems to make it better. She shot the video in the MPG 4 WVGA 800 x 480. She has now changed it to H.264 WVGA the resolution defaults 800 X 480 that is the highest resolution at that setting. Here is the video she took. Prior to making the new settings.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uJWEF6gdUTo&feature=email
She did shoot the video in the wrong orientation as this was the very first time she used the EVO video camera. She used a program Mobil media converter and it free ware. Use then used Windows Movie maker to compose the video. I am sure she will catch me at times when I am not doing so well.
Just thought what everyone would like to see a video taken in a night time sporting event as well as a noisy environment.
The EVO is version 2.2 out of the box and no rooting etc.

I think that video looked pretty good.
It doesn't compare to my camcorder, but it certainly beats my old (not that old) camcorder.
I took this not too long ago with my EVO
CM6, no adjustments or effects to camera. Just thought I'd add some to compare.

Concert I recorded using EViO 1.1 Quality gets better about 30 seconds in. Didn't really get to play with the settings. Just a quick point and shoot.
lol. this is the worst example of a good EVO video.
You should put your camera on 720p shooting mode and post the raw footage. Not that you have to--we all have the phone-- but if your saying its good then use good source video

This was the first time I've seen the device with the keyboard attached being used. I can definitively say that I will be buying the dock... If it ever arrives on US soil. With me not having a laptop it should prove useful.
He just posted a new video about the Polaris software.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OGSfL6XjcN8
Just watched some of the first video. Shame it's so quiet. I wish google would normalise all the audio on videos uploaded to youtube. Just wanted to comment on a few things he said:
-The @Vibe app is for music and streaming radio, not for games, in the UK. Might be different for other countries.
-It's not lightweight. Lighter than other devices but its still not light.
-You get bad stuttery 1080p mkv's if theyre not encoded properly.
-That green screen camera thing is fixed in the latest firmware.
-The refresh rate of the video recording is bad. So is the fps of any video you record. Hopefully it will get fixed. It's meant to do up to 1080p @30fps.
-The playback and quality of the video streaming via Splashtop is ridiculously good as he says. I was surprised.
-He's also right about needing to have several apps to play various files. Feels odd to switch between them to play different formats but its not a problem.
Nice to see the dock in action. Cant wait to get mine.

Just an offtopic note: normalising wouldn't help in most cases (one high peek in the whole video will make the sound very quiet even normalised). Making sound louder would in most cases require compression and limiting which is not always wanted and can't be done properly by a machine only (if you want to know more - read about loudness war and audio mastering on Wikipedia). Normalising could also be very bad for videos recorded in silence - you would hear every background noise that was recorded very loudly.
Splashtop looks very interesting. It's a shame it's only for Macs and Windows (I would like to use it on Ubuntu).
Great detailed review. Just watched both part 1 and 2 and has reassured me that this is definitely the tablet I want. All of the negatives that I read on Engadget or Techradar can't remember which it was seem to be non existent in the video as they said it lags quite noticeably behind touch which it didn't really show and looks like it's going to be a great tablet with lots of future potential. Can't wait to save up and get one which looks to be at around the time stock will be back in with all the delays lol

Hi, Sorry, I should have adjust the volume of the video before I uploaded it, thanks for pointing that out.
@Vibe is like an entertainment center, it has Books, games, and Musics, at least that's how it is in Taiwan, not sure about other country.
and you are right, the video recording is really slow and hopefully it gets fixed soon.
Thanks for pointing out the firmware update, I've yet to update mine, will do and see if anything else is different.
Best,

Hi all just wanted to post this YT link i found of some one using the hd vid on s2, i like it because it shows something apart from cars moving lol.

The white cat throws the exposure of a little and the focus is a little jittery, i wish it had touch to focus? or does it?

1080 @ 30fps my ass. More likely to 15 20 fps or 30 with cloned frames.
OMG!! That AF is like crazy!!!!!
but to prove it's kersh's ass only, could you upload the org. file for us.
not my vid, I was just browsing YouTube
Actually it's youtube compression. I dowloaded the full video and it's really better, great colors, really nice AF and the video is around 27/29 fps.
Yeah I asked the poster to upload it to mediafire and he posted the link in the description. It's much smoother and slightly sharper.

This FPS (First Person Shooter) game sucks, the riffle is not displayed, and none of the two cat zombies are shot. Besides I threw up a bit in my mouth at 16 seconds.
the AF is amazing..! Excellent quality.
Is there a problem with custom roms because when I record video it looks like crap.
Old Galaxy S records much better video.
As long as the phone is still the video is ok but little panning or tilting makes the picture so wavy.
Anyone else noticed that?

Poor video recording :(

I really love the phone and especially its photo capabilities.
Yet the video lags while recording are really bad.
Here a random unedited testvideo
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_NbXSOsVaE0
At the end theres no sound which probably results from the freezing where no sound is recorded.
Therefore the video is longer than the recorded sound.
I just checked and firmware is up to date, battery was full & taskkiller emptied RAM before recording.
Hope there is a fix incoming

there is a known bug in the video recording of the arc, check some other threads on here. It has been reported to S.E so hopefully they will release a patch to solve the problem.
Is the sound on playback alot better than the X10? Because the X10 sounds pretty damn bad! Like im in a tin can.

Well, with stabilization on you get distortion as the frame moves, but it's hardly noticeable. Beats a jerky video.

It destroys the image with to much compression. Usually ends up with a more blurry pic.
But im speaking from the Xperia X10, not the Arc. But I could only assume its the same as of now.
ive just replaced the memory card on my arc to a 16gb kingston class 4.....seems marginally better with regards to video stutter...need to run a few more tests first though.

Yeah that a **** video dude..I ve got the same problem..The video lags a lot..I dont know whether there is a solution..hopefully a 3rd party app??
My mum told me to record my little brother's rehearsal for the regional artistic cycling tournament (he got silver btw ) cuz she was at work .The vid lagged so badly, also with the 5 sec freezing and some random 1 sec freezing. The whole performance is only about 10 min. I tried with and without image stabilization and some other settings as I was desperate to get it recording. In the end I asked my brother to do it again and used the milestone(Droid) from the coach to record it.
I have the fragments of the recording on my arc if anyones interested
Not that I care much of the performance as its his first year, but my mum was angry and laughing at my phone.
Bottom line: Awesome cam but useless videorecording.
Sony should come up with something..Video recording is ****.. :S
