OK, figured it out!
Enter the Factory Screen by holding the TOP RIGHT Button and slide your finger across the top of the Nook from left to right. A button labeled "Factory" will appear in the top left of the screen.
Once in the Factory screen, hold down the TOP RIGHT Button and tap in the bottom right of the screen.
A new button will appear labeled "Skip Oobe". Tap that and you're done!

Run command

I am looking for "run command" in my K-jam that I have installed from one the topics here before hard reset. Anybody remember how?
Thnx
on the today screen hold down the "action" button (middle of d-pad) and tab and hold the clock - if you have the new roms then tap and hold the battery icon (basicly tap and hold the area to the left of where the close button usually is)
hope this helps.

Showing the Quick Menu button all the time???

Here is another question/request....
Is there any tweak or registery hack that would show the Quick Menu Button (the little button on the top right corner on the home screen) all the time???

Question mark on top corner?

I am using Buzz launcher on my N4. Starting from today, when I press home button or return to homescreen by pressing backspace, there is a white question mark on right top corner. Could someone tell me which app might cause this? I can see it simply by pressing home button. So wired.
Thanks!

Nook GlowLight (NGL) bypass Oobe

At the "Hi, welcome to your NOOK GlowLight™" screen, hold down the home button and swipe your finger along the top of the screen from left-to-right. A "Factory" box will appear in the upper-left. Press it.
At the factory screen, hold down the home button and tap the lower-right corner of the screen. A "Skip Oobe" box will appear. Press it.
Been using this on some NST's, would this be possible on the new White Glow Light ? please.
Or of course another way ?
Thanks, Mick

This guide is for the new white Nook GlowLight.
The procedure for the new NGL is the same as the NST except that, because the NGL has no side buttons, instead of pressing the top right side button, you press the home button.

Based on your location, might it have something to do with a firewall preventing you from hitting B&N's servers?

Not in Europe, as afar as i know. But i found the problem, and the solution!
It seems they sold me an outdated nook, and B&N have cut support ( ?!?!?!??!?!??!??! ), however, here
https://help.barnesandnoble.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/215/~/sideloading-software-update-to-your-nook I've downloaded and sideloaded at newer firmware which wroked and updated just fine.

Upper left corner arrow Button

On my Samsung galaxy prime when I go to applications the upper left corner arrow button will not work. The only way out is to push the home button. How can I fix this?
Thank you for your advice.
