Question mark on top corner? - Nexus 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I am using Buzz launcher on my N4. Starting from today, when I press home button or return to homescreen by pressing backspace, there is a white question mark on right top corner. Could someone tell me which app might cause this? I can see it simply by pressing home button. So wired.
Thanks!

Set long press Home key to suspend phone

Hi
Anyone know how to set long press home key to suspend phone?
thanks
I would love to see this too.
In fact, I'm using ADW Launcher and it can bind the home key to do a few different things but unfortunately not suspending the phone. I'm trying to contact the app author now to see if he will add in that feature.
Samsung made a great phone but the casing and button placement is so stupidly designed I don't know what to say. I feel like I'm holding a bar of soap and I can't reach the power button 90% of the time.
What is wrong with pushing the power button?
I would be very happy with a suspend widget or app. Searched the market but only found a reboot/power off widget.
App would be best. I could place that on the bottom menu.

The power button work fine. But the home key is more convenience.

[Q] Icon selector

Occasionally, when I press the home button to go back to my home page it will take me back and the icon selector will be on one of my icons (always the same one) and I have to click some where else on the screen to get it unselected. It's rather annoying and I'm wondering if anyone else has this issue or if anyone knows of a fix.
Thanks

Maybe you are activating the optical trackpad when you hitting the home button?

Do you mean the icon on the center that opens up the app drawer? I suppose you're using a custom launcher?
Long-press any part of the empty screen, click Shortcut, and find an item that says launcher (or something equivalent), like how you would add a shortcut of an app on homescreen.
Then click that icon, and drag it to where menu key originally was.
hehehe thats not called the menu key its called app drawer (or app button even, the menu key is the four line button beside your back button). I'm going to assume you are on cm7 with adw because as far as i know that is the most used.... and i may have done it once or twice before. Press and hold on an empty space on your home screen. click Launcher actions. choose open close app drawer. enjoy don't feel too stupid it happens to the best of us.
Yes I did mean the app drawer...sorry. I got it back now...thanks for all the help!!!

Yea usually the app itself has the menu button built into it. Or sometimes it's the rom depending on which one it is.
with on-screen buttons you can customize the navigation bar to your liking rather than needing to conform to hardware buttons.
im a big fan of mechanical buttons, but if youre giving me touch buttons let me customize them.. which is what googles doing with the nexus line
Google got rid of the menu button a long time ago. There is no such thing as "menu" in Android 4.0 and later. The three dots in the action bar is called action overflow.
Don’t call it a menu
Not only should your apps stop relying on the hardware Menu button, but you should stop thinking about your activities using a “menu button” at all. Your activities should provide buttons for important user actions directly in the action bar (or elsewhere on screen). Those that can’t fit in the action bar end up in the action overflow.

Configure left button

Hi,
I was using with my Note4 an older application . The only way to access the menu in this older application was long pressing the left button key. Now when pressing the left button key , you have the split screen view . I know how to disable the split screen view but not how to reconfigure this left button.
to access the menu of this application
Any idea please?
Thank you,
Daniel
You may be able to do this once rooted and using xposed, but doubt it without this (as on previous models)
Hold the right button (back button), it opens menu for me ?

Try All-In-One-Gestures. Worked for me. You can setup your hardware (Touch) buttons.
Yeh i use that app, love it
Long pressing back button works for me. It takes a little longer than previously but at least it's still there.
