Hi,
May be O2_DE operator, like TMOUS, is using a multi protection system
I did re-upload all files to verify the unbranding process
You must also verify by following these steps:
> Flash a branded A.1 or A.2 ROM
> Delete all previous downloads
> Download again B.1, B.2 files and
> Start the unbranding process
Let me know if everything is ok

Install orginal WM6 with HardSPL 4.7?

Hey Guys,
during the last three month I tried a lot of roms out of this forum.
But now I want to reinstall the original WM6 on my Herald.
Is it neccessary, to patch my HardSPL down, or can I install it with the 4.7version without problems?
Thans for your help.

it will be fine if u keep hard spl as long as you not flashing the stock rom
EDIT: i just reread the post yea you will need to remove it lol

You can flash an original firmware without removing HardSPL. But beware of the fact, that you can't use an original ROM (RUU) without modifiyng the image!
The easiest way would be to use an original RUU and extract the parts of it with nbhtool. Then build a new ROM with the extracted OS.nb and then use the HTC Tool with the new OS.nb and the extracted ExtendedROM.nb and Splashscreen.nb to build a new .nbh.
After that you can flash this .nbh-File (Image).
I hoped it helped a little bit.
step 1. download the software from t-mobile
step 2. remove battery
step 3. hold down the cam button and put battery in. turn on phone.
step 4. you will then see the USB mode on your wing, connect it
to PC
step 5. install software and follow instructions...
thats it.

artemis USPL - improvements

I was asked to patch USPL for ROM size checking when flashing via RUU, so this version does not check size even when flashing via USB. (original SPL skips the size checks only when SD flashing.)
I did this a few days ago, but didn't get around to posting it
download from attachment, enjoy! donations are always appreciated to the "To Cmonex" link in my signature
how to use it: if you already have a version of artemis USPL installed, simply flash this new version using RUU or from SD (ARTEIMG.NBH on FAT32 formatted SD)
in bootloader (tricolour mode) it should then say version: 1.11.cmon
for instructions on installing any USPL if you have no USPL yet - check out: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=311403 until I have more time/motivation for userfriendly packaging
more plans: if I get time/motivation I might upgrade this to be full HSPL (overwrite protection)
Well done Cmonex..!
Thanks so much.
Peoples of Artemis forum wait it long times already.
Thread Sticked.
Cheers ..!

it's the same process.
The difference is that you can flash any rom without size limits.
Before you only could do this with SD Card method.
not working
its not working
it gives the same error : invalid size
canu explain step by step plzzzz
Is you bootloader showing SPL 1.11.cmon?
i have replaced the nbh file of artemis uspl with this one
then started uspl after that once it gets over i started
ruu upgrade utility
thats the way how it is done or something else
during this process no bootloader screen comes
And where is the response to my question? ....

Problem Flashing ROM

Hi, I have just flashed my handset with: RUU_Leo_Dopod_CHS_1.70.706.0_Radio_CRC_Signed_15.3 2.50.07U_2.07.51.22_2_Ship.exe
I now get the message 'your OS ROM isn't customized for your hardware.
Please reflash the proper ROM Code or contact the service centre.'
I'm trying to reflash RUU_Leo_HTC_WWE_1.66.405.2_Radio_Signed_15.30.50.0 ¶
7U_2.06.51.07_Ship.exe, but it fails to communicate with the device.
Any ideas how I can fix this?
Thanks
Try downloading the relevant radio version from this link (note that download only contains the .nbh file):
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=611787
Then download the CustomRUU.exe file from here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=4798017&postcount=1
Put both files in the same folder and run the CustomRUU.exe file and it should hopefully work.

Have you checked your HSPL version? there must be SPL 1.42.0000 on your device otherwise the installation will fail.
To check your SPL version, hold the Volume Down button and do a reset. It is possible to downgrade to this SPL, by just flashing to an Official ROM with this SPL version.

Try take the battery out for about 2 minutes and then power it back on.
From the troubleshooting notes section found via this link, it stated the following:
"Your OS ROM isn't customized for your hardware. Please reflash the proper ROM code or contact the service center", !!! Problem NOT related to HSPL !!! ... this means that you flashed a region protected rom... flash any other rom that has your region ID... or patch it

Had no joy with that either! Will try to flash from SD Card- hopefully that'll do it!
As far as I understand the issue, it is not the ROMs that are region protected, so that is not what is causing the problem. I believe the problem is that some phones (like yours) have encoded firmware that possibly restricts the type of ROMs that can be installed? So, some people can only install ROMs that are designed for their region.
Flashing from SD Card seems to be doing the trick nicely. Phew.

Understood.
Also, anyone have a mirror for the second rom yet? As rapidshare failed once and made me waste a second download (having to wait 55 mins).
*edit* I'm getting error 226 (Flash Write) when flashing the first rom at about 95% through. Wasnt sure this was the error you were referencing as you mentioned error270. And when I try to flash the second rom I get invalid model id. I imagine thats because the first flash didn't work properly.

Yup I got the same error message at 95% also.
Also is there any way you can provide other mirrors for the files? Having to wait 40+ mins to download a second file is annoying. Especially when there was a problem with the first download making it useless.

Europe region... it means there is no chinese language pack in it.
The Registry Program 1.2.0 works
I need original theme, the new theme and Alert tones is not good.
I tried to flash your Rom it struck at 7%, luckily it didn't change my bootloader, back to Ansar's, thanks anyways.
the charging sound had been changed to "you got a voice message" not a big issue but.......

Whats not good?.....it means you can use XSPL and flash the latest roms rather than brick your Mozart.
Cheers Yardie boy
Loading it now
Be carrefull !!!
Begin flash with HSPL 1.32
Freeze while flashing
Reboot in bootloader to restart the flash.
Unable to flash again, Why ?
This rom put my Mozart in SPL 5.1, unable to go back in HSPL.

No issue with HSPL 1.32 for me...no change in SPL either, what did you do different?
You could alwasy load an OSPL then put RSPL/HSPL on again.
The only little snag I noticed was connection set-up kept launching every reboot, which was resolved by deleting it...
