I think it was about to cost only 500 GBP.
I have seen protos selling for 400-420 GBP , ideal price would be 450 - 500 GBP. Though it's still expensive.
Most probably the price after 2 weeks, will be with 100 euros below.
I don't know about it going down much in price beyond the Promotion price of £500, at least for the next few months.
Touch Pro is still about £ 480 And TyTN II new is still retailing at £450. So I don't see the X1 going below that for while.
Non Official price i`ve got from few retail stores here in Bulgaria/Sofia is 500-550 euros.
The phone is expected to be available after 2 weeks.

Къде това, градски?
I was asking him which stores
За един градски знам ама тебе не те знаех Anyway
Mobiltel - 500-550 euros (Black - English version)
Germanos - 530-550 euros (No information)
Of course the price is kind of a privet one...which means that if i succeeded to buy it ...this is the price for me
If happens than i can try to get more than 1 peace for some of you..
Take a look at the pic i`ve made yesterday 17.10.2008 with X1
http://picasaweb.google.bg/mosadbg/SEX1#
SE's eStore is selling the X1 for £480 inc. VAT.
The picture is more than great. If this is the real quality it would be the first PPC I had where the camera is usable

[Q] Asus transformer tf101 is worth buying now for 300Euro?

the title describe well the topic...i found the transformer discounted at 300 euro in a shop and i'm keen to buy it, it is good enough? keeping in mind that my budget is max 400 euros and i'll be using it mainly for reading and surfing the net (and maybe some video).
P.S how is fair with a stylus?
thanks and sorry for my English (i'm Italian)

Please provide more information, like
does it include the keyboard dock?
what is the memory size? 16g or 32g?
it's the 16 gb version without keyboard.
In a shop? Still boxed and untouched? A steal IMO!
unfortunatly the 16gb version are the ones being exposed (so not totally untouched) and hardly available, tomorrow i'll try to see the last shop because today is closed.
In the meantime i found the 32gb discounted to 399 euro and this is unboxed and untouched....is it a good deal the 32 gb?

Not a good buy at all, your best deal is with Amazon which is cheaper and with 32g storage capacity. Here's their prices:
Amazon prices tablet only (forex 1 euro = 1.32 dollars)
Brand new 32g 340 euro
.................16g 292 euro
Used like new 32g 258 euro you save 42 euro
.....................16g 218 euro you save 82 euro
Your best buy is the 32g used like new for 258 euros if you can order it from Amazon. The Transformer I bought was a 32g for 240 euros and it works perfectly upgrading to ICS. Good luck!

It costs 54 euros more than the current prices at Amazon, but since your max limt is 400 then it should be ok. Much, much better if you can order from Amazon though because you can return easily if something is not working or broken.
thanks tedr44, i checked amazon but unfortunatly the only one who ships to Italy it will cost 399 dolars so 305 euro without shipping (transformer 32gb used) and i'm keen to buy it. Is it safe to make such purchase in case the tablet is damaged during the shipment?sorry for my boobness but it's first time purchasing from amazon.COM.
EDIT: the price of the 32gb used with shipment is 365 euro and without taxes....so not convenient.
Get the one that is in the shop near you, if anything would be wrong with it after all you can return there. It´ll save you a headache

Amazon has a very good record when it comes to customer service, if you have their phone number you may want to call and inquire about their policy on returning damaged shipments. But in my experience, Amazon will always try to correct any problem you may have because they want you to come back to them for future business. Why don't you try so you have the experience to order online for the first time with Amazon?
Amazon's customer service is amazing. They also have the most lenient return policy I have ever seen.
If there is even a slight problem with your purchase, they will take care of it.
i know that amazon is a good service, i purchased lots of things from amazom.IT, but was concerned about buying used goods. however i realized that buying from USA is not a good deal after the shipment cost and taxes (in italy you have to pay 21% of the price), in fact the 32 gb used will be over 400 euro.
so i'll try the last shop which opens in 2 hours, otherwise i'll wait for new discounts or buy it for the normal price 338 euro....
quite indecisive because i don't know if it's better to wait later or not to buy a good tablet for less than 400, i've read about google tablet but i prefer a 10 inch one.
thanks you guy for your advice
300 bucks is a good deal if you can't come up with the extra 200 for the prime.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I717
unfortunatly all the transformer 16gb were sold. now i'm indecided whether buying it at 340 euro or wait..what do you think is better?
I would wait, the price of the transformers is dropping fast. I was able to pick up a 16GB model over here in the states with KB dock for $250. This was probably an especially good deal, but I can't see the price going anywhere but down.
Does Europe have a Craigslist or similar online classified listings? That is where I would look.
for italy there is ebay, where i found the transformer 16 gb for 250 euro, hoping no one raise the price higher in the next 24 hour....if the price will be under 280 maybe i'll buy it even though is used.
sorry for the double post but wanted to bump the post for attention.....i founded an acer iconia tab a 500 for 299 euro with 32gb, what do you think?

I'd really recommend purchasing through a vendor who will handle issues for you, or offers their own warranty if you are going with ASUS.
My current RMA has resulted in:
Receiving another customers tablet.
Receiving back my tablet, without the charger they asked me to send in, and with the same issue it was sent in for.
Receiving a charger without the adapter to plug it into the socket.
This is still ongoing, and when you call support, they just say, we'll escalate, and someone will call you in 2 days if you ask to speak to a manager, or have an issue.
The device was great while it worked, but I'd personally look for a vendor who is good with returns and/or offers a 3rd party warranty.
i'm sorry for the problem your facing michiganenginerd and i heard the same thing for the transformer prime (was going to buy it a month ago). I'm quite settled to buy the used iconia a500 (32gb) for 299 (with valid warranty) because is perfect fo my purpose (reading and surfing thenet).
IS it ok?

NotePro 12.2" WiFi release 4 Feb in UK.

It release much faster then I thought and Samsung are taking preoders now at Samsung UK website and shipping expected at 4 Feb with a free gamepad. http://store.samsung.com/uk/mobile/galaxy-note/galaxy-note-pro/p/SM-P9000ZKABTU
But with a high pricetag: £649.00
Anyone gonna get one?
thanks man for info but its too haii
High indeed. But I bought one almost at that price (750 Eur / 615 UKP) in the Netherlands. It is just too expensive. I'm not sure it is worth it yet.
However, to make it less painful, the NL version comes with a 64 GB microSD card (worth about 50 Eur / 41 UKP, I would say) and 6 months of Netflix. I couldn't give a rat's ass about Netflix, but the card is useful. For such an outrageous price however they should have added at least a basic case.
This device is just a couple hundred euros away of much more competent tools, including the Surface Pro 2. I instantly hated it and regretted my decision but am now slowly stating to like it. The same happened with my Note 2 in the beginning, I tried to sell it and later ended up loving it.
Not sure if the same will happen this time or if I will get rid of it. Overall, there isn't much wrong with this tablet (if you want this size/weight) except minor details like the lack of a notification LED (seriously?) but I seriously doubt it offers enough value to justify the launch cost.

One Plus Two costs over $500 for EU Consumers. Do you think is it worth it?

Hi everybody!
I have a oneplus two invite which is about to expire in a couple of hours.
I havent realized till the end of payment process that Oneplus charges 45EU for shipping, which drives the price of OPT to 450 EUR which is over $500.
I found it brutal to charge so much for the shipping, and did not order the phone.
Do you think OPT worths $500?
Thanks a lot in advance
All the best
There has been another post about how the Nexus 6 and LG G4 came in cheaper for shoppers in Germany…
Anyway, that’s A LOT for shipping – think it was £7 for the slow delivery to me in the UK (which is part of the EU obviously).
At current exchange rates (E1.3 to £1) E450 seems like a bad deal for my continental brethren – it should be more like E410 delivered surely?
It’s a very nice phone, for the price I paid, but with Motorola’s 2015 flagships and the new Nexus phones on the horizon it perhaps doesn’t represent good value at the price you’ve been quoted. To be honest – whilst I love the fingerprint scanner, the OP2 isn’t that much better than the OP1, which for the money is possibly the best phone on the market right now.

Thanks a lot!
Even though i was tempted I did not order the phone indeed.
They are very successful in marketing. I would never consider it for 450EUR if i knew it in the beginning, but i was almost ordering the phone.
Have a great day!
Shipping to Germany is 20€ without express. So altogether it costs 419€. That's fine for me. It arrived in around one week so I don't think express shipping is needed for German customers.

For me there was only express shipping available.
I skipped OPT for the reason that you won't get any customer service even though you will be paying a flagship phone price of a well established company.
I would like to use a phone for at least 2 years. It just didnt seem reliable.
exact same in here shipped from China to Austria within one week, € 419,-- equals to US$ 470,--
my OpO shipped from UK to Austria within 2 days without express a few month ago!

I live in a small island in Denmark and the only option for shipping was "express".
I tried different addresses of friends in the mainland and still the price of shipping did not change.
Are you happy with your phones?
Alright that's a pitty, but 45€ I also would not have paid for shipment.
I am satisfied with the phone.
It's working quite well and I also have the OnePlus One and never had any issues with it.

Where to buy a YotaPhone 2 these days

I completely missed the crazy period (at the end of 2016/start of 2017) when the yota2 was being sold at less than 100€ by big chinese shops like gearbest and such ...
Now it feels like that last stock was cleared because the phone is not available on those sites since a while now, but I really would like to buy the phone.
Do you guys have an idea if there are still some (even hidden in the deep far east) where it's possible to obtain an unit?
(in case some of you don't want to disclose it to the public even a short PM would be great).
Thanks!

Try Ebay! You should still be able to catch some phones going for less than $300 USD.
Yes, crazy. I believe that it will last just for a while, since the yota 3 is expected to be a middle range priced phone and it will probably cost (with updated specs) not very much more than that.
You will no longer get it from any Chinese retailers, I think, only eBay or Amazon for quite big prices .
Amazingly I saw a Yotaphone 2 yd206 for sale in Aliexpress today for 230 dollars ! Mine cost 101 dollars at beginning of this year .
