Post here your Xperia-themed videos

Couple of months ago my friend has shown me a video of the 2007 Macworld with the legendary introduction of the iPhone. And the video was great - Jobs did a fantastic job (sic) presenting all of the advantages of that device, it was a pleasure to watch and was truly convincing for the viewer. I got my Xperia recently (5th Feb to be specific) and immediatly I though that it would be great to be able to watch some kind of videos like that, but about the X1.
Well, the problem is - I really couldn't find any for download - obviously there were some on YouTube, but not only they were bad quality but also not downloadable (I realize that there are ways to download videos of YT, but that means I would have to suffer the low quality and often fragmentation).
So here I am - asking you to post anything you have on Xperia - from short ads to full-lenght reviews or presentations. Downloadable versions will be most appreciated, but naturally if you know some video that's for streaming only, don't hesitate to also post it.

Htc hd2 Video distorted.

Hi im really hoping to find some help here. just yesterday i came back from a trip to disney world with the family. i took a 5 minute video of the fireworks show and when i look at the video now on my phone it wont show up. i hooked it up to my computer and transfered the video over but when i play it on my computer it will show up but its all distorted with green boxes dissaperaing a reappearing. the only way i can watch the video on my phone is with tcpmp and even then it still shows distorted, the sound is perfect but the video isnt. funny enough i had shot a 2 min video before that one seconds before on my phone and it came out perfect. any ideas as to why this happened. and ideas on how i can get the video i shot to look normal again? maybe repair it? any help would be well appreciated.
just a lil bump.. no help at all?
I have this issue also. It only does this when I do videos longer than 2 or 3 minutes back to back. I would love a solution as I am losing really good material due to it. Like you said, the sound is perfect but the green tint distorts the video. I did notice the phone gets hot while taking the video so may be that has something to do with the issue.
I'm starting to think now this phone is a POS and completely waste of money when it comes to multimedia. I mean let's be honest here name of the phone is HD2 (high definition) yet it can't even play HD video let it be OS related, as we at it let's be real we all know its also limited to 65k colors. Far as video goes by now all know the audio sync issue, along with the original pink aurora BS. I wonder if Evo has this problem.
PS: This is not a rant so all you fanboys take it easy.

Ummm no. I play HD movies all the time. Most of my videos come out fine. This isn't an everyday issue.
Hello guys and gals. This is my first post and sadly it's in regard with a problem. I have the same issue with the recorded movie files. If it's bigger then 5 minutes sometimes it ends up unusable. This only happens after i changed the sd card with a new 8gb one. I wonder ...

Addicus I suggest you look in to this thread: Major flaw in the HTC HD2: 250ms Audio Delay
Even with extended detailed test if you still say you have no audio sync issue in video and time time hickups as it freeze then post what you are doing in that thread. Most of us has to encode the video and use filter to compensate for it.

Cheers.

Found this on youtube - 2 parts. He reviewed the keyboard as well. Looks very well rounded. I'll be getting one

Ya, I've been waiting for his 2nd video. It's one of the more comprehensive reviews of this awesome device.

Thanks for sharing! Finally a decent review on youtube! It helps making the decision to wait it out a little bit longer. I hope he's right on the price part too!

Interesting how he calls it "very intuitive" when there have been people saying its sooo confusing because its not like the Ipad
Outstanding overview, thanks for the link. Except now, of course, I'm even more anxious to get one.

This was the first time I've seen the device with the keyboard attached being used. I can definitively say that I will be buying the dock... If it ever arrives on US soil. With me not having a laptop it should prove useful.
He just posted a new video about the Polaris software.

Just watched some of the first video. Shame it's so quiet. I wish google would normalise all the audio on videos uploaded to youtube. Just wanted to comment on a few things he said:
-The @Vibe app is for music and streaming radio, not for games, in the UK. Might be different for other countries.
-It's not lightweight. Lighter than other devices but its still not light.
-You get bad stuttery 1080p mkv's if theyre not encoded properly.
-That green screen camera thing is fixed in the latest firmware.
-The refresh rate of the video recording is bad. So is the fps of any video you record. Hopefully it will get fixed. It's meant to do up to 1080p @30fps.
-The playback and quality of the video streaming via Splashtop is ridiculously good as he says. I was surprised.
-He's also right about needing to have several apps to play various files. Feels odd to switch between them to play different formats but its not a problem.
Nice to see the dock in action. Cant wait to get mine.

Just an offtopic note: normalising wouldn't help in most cases (one high peek in the whole video will make the sound very quiet even normalised). Making sound louder would in most cases require compression and limiting which is not always wanted and can't be done properly by a machine only (if you want to know more - read about loudness war and audio mastering on Wikipedia). Normalising could also be very bad for videos recorded in silence - you would hear every background noise that was recorded very loudly.
Splashtop looks very interesting. It's a shame it's only for Macs and Windows (I would like to use it on Ubuntu).
Great detailed review. Just watched both part 1 and 2 and has reassured me that this is definitely the tablet I want. All of the negatives that I read on Engadget or Techradar can't remember which it was seem to be non existent in the video as they said it lags quite noticeably behind touch which it didn't really show and looks like it's going to be a great tablet with lots of future potential. Can't wait to save up and get one which looks to be at around the time stock will be back in with all the delays lol

Hi, Sorry, I should have adjust the volume of the video before I uploaded it, thanks for pointing that out.
@Vibe is like an entertainment center, it has Books, games, and Musics, at least that's how it is in Taiwan, not sure about other country.
and you are right, the video recording is really slow and hopefully it gets fixed soon.
Thanks for pointing out the firmware update, I've yet to update mine, will do and see if anything else is different.
Best,

Zoe's work in Google+

Oh my gosh!! So I'm going through my Google Plus that I rarely use and what do I see? Moving pictures like the HTC One gallery. After examining, I realize that they're my Zoe's. They move like in the HTC One Gallery. Except!! All the Zoe's move at once. They're playing at like 10 frames per second. LoL!! So it's pretty choppy, but it's cool nonetheless.
The thing I noticed is that the actual videos aren't moving, just the Zoe's I've uploaded. I find that very cool since Zoe's are nothing more than a 3 second video file. It's like Google+ knows the video is a Zoe. This just made Google Plus so much cooler. I want to show EVERYONE my photo album now. LoL!! =.P
Haha, I know it's very cool. It wasn't always like that (still have albums that show the individual frames from my Zoes from April) but it does makes G+ that much better. Besides, I like G+ simply because I can snap a pic and forget about it with the auto uploading feature.

You filmed it the wrong way. Thumbs down
Yes.. That vertical letterbox makes it unwatchable. I only lasted a few minutes. Too distracting
I may not be a professional youtuber (yet ) but the best advice I can give you is maybe get your camera/camcorder a tripod so the camera is still and do it that way otherwise very strange but great video!
Was this meant to be a joke?
