Verizon is NOT phasing out the Incredible. This same image and story popped up a few weeks ago. All that is happening is the Incredible is/has gotten a new SKU number. The changed the packing and box on the Incredible. The only thing that is being phased out is the old SKU on the Incredible.

and they changed the screen from AMOLED to LCD because of the high demand for the phone.

Ah yeah totally forgot about that one too. That would certainly warrant a SKU change.
I was never certain though were they totally dropping the AMOLED screen for the LCD one or are they going to produce both?

As far as the change in screens goes, HTC's website still lists the screen as only being AMOLED, there's nothing about LCD's on there.
And I sent an email to Verizon with a few questions, one being about the screen, since I'd personally prefer the AMOLED. My response was that she had contacted HTC and verified that, as of my expected ship date (July 26th), they will all still be AMOLED screens. So that's not likely the cause for the SKU change, although it's probably going to be in the future.

HTC must be furious with Samsung, I wonder how many lost orders this will have resulted in for the Incredible by the time it's all said and done, since all the Incredible delays are due to manufacturing delays caused by a lack of screens from Samsung.

Samsung decides to not share their screens with HTC. that might be a breach of contract. so the good news is that Super TFT is easier to see in sunlight and outdoors... trade anyone?

I don't think it's necessarily breach of contract. Samsung may have fulfilled their contractually agreed upon amount and then HTC requested some more to fill non-forecasted demand.

There was a recent SKU change, adding a 2 on the end, to reflect the addition of the 2GB SD card (new SKU is ADR6300VW2). I would imagine that if/when they actually do finish testing the LCD/SLCD/whatever screen, they will notify the orders and give them the option of cancelling.
I ordered mine on 6/17, and it just arrived about 3 hours ago. Some time on the charger, about 20 minutes of playing with it, and now I'm looking for a new ROM.
For those still waiting, if you ordered around the same date as I did, call or email them. I didn't hear anything, so I finally sent an email asking why it had been so long since I placed my order, and later that day I got my notification that it was shipping the next day. Not sure if it mattered, but a hell of a coincidence.

Ordered mine on the 17th of June as well. At some point today (hoping morning please please lol) I will have mine in hand. I know that mine does include the 2gb sd card, whereas I don't think the ones sold at launch had a card included. I think Verizon should've gave everyone an upgraded card however for making us wait so long..but I know it's not Verizons fault that they keep running out of screens.

Yeah, I agree. I think the 2gb card is a bit insulting too, considering the size of the internal storage. Give us the 16gb cards the Moto's come with. Hell, even my wife's LG Ally comes with 4gb!
2gb is just...Pathetic.

Unresponsive Screen - Reason for halt in distribution?

If you wanna skip to the good stuff, see this video.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PQRgT3gtmsI
It's comparing an Eris, Droid, and 3 incredibles.
It seems that whenever the incredible isn't grounded or being held it becomes unresponsive.
Heres an example in a car dock..
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pXB1MjYM5Ks
How many of you are getting this problem? It's actually a pretty big deal even though it wont stop me from getting the phone when its back in stores..
I'll just throw a case on it.
Also, doesn't it make sense that this is the reason why it suddenly became impossible to get an incredible?
The reason we've gotten is AMOLED shortages but they're probably fixing this in the background.
I really hope so, because the first thing IM gonna do when i get this phone is test this **** out LOL
I've never ever had any issues with screen response. I tried to duplicate the issue in that video on my own with no success.
What halt in production!?
at our office we tried the exact test with 8 incredibles and every single one of them worked fine.
I think that happened to me a few times. I figured I was taxing the hell outta the processor with my fast clicks.
Mine has done it from Day 1. Just can't seem to get worked up about it.
Happens to me when its in the car dock, takes a few tries to get a response.
Interesting stuff. Tested mine on a variety of surfaces right now and it worked fine. I bought mine on launch day FYI.

As you can see it says "due to high demand" they wont ship til 6/28!
Also I went in yesterday and they also said it would be around 3 weeks.
I've called about 5 stores and get the same thing from everybody.
HTC is simply NOT shipping these phones atm.
Shortly after they were made aware of this design flaw.
The Inc is by far the most responsive phone that I've ever used, much more so than either the Droid or the Eris. I have also compared it to the N1 and whatever the issue was with that, they definitely fixed it.

Not at all true.

Phones are indeed shipping out.
So, again, what halt in distribution?
Sure, they are having trouble getting the parts to put together the phone and they are way behind, but I don't think there's any evidence at all that they have halted distribution to fix a major problem.
Lex, those forum posters purchased in the month of may.
The same month that this problem was discovered in a good portion of phones.
HTC was notified of this issue in mid to late may.
Since then (according to your own link) nobody was getting phones without a delay of at least a few weeks.
Those who had already purchased phones, still got them, but with a delay.
Those who hadn't had to wait longer (some time in june).
I am pretty certain that they slowed production to make sure that phones which were shipped didn't face such issues.
If it was merely a shortage of AMOLED displays, then answer me this.
How come the evo 4g, nexus one, desire etc are shipping out like mad with no news of shortages?

Only had it like a week, is this something people have sent phones back because of?

Well the Evo 4G doesn't use an AMOLED display, so it is unaffected. As for the N1 and Desire, my best guess would be that no one is buying the N1 and since the Desire has been out for a while compared to the Incredible, demand is down.
Both my friend and I got our Incredibles on launch day (he got one at store, I got mine in mail from pre-order). We both have this grounding issue. For example, sitting on the couch with the phone next to me, the phone screen is so unresponsive I can't get past the slide unlock screen to open the phone unless I pick it up. Friend has the exact same problem on his couch.
The phone is still amazing and I don't let this ruin my experience, but the issue isn't a myth.

Phones are SHIPPING, that's a fact. There's no "halt in distribution". Supply is obviously lacking, but your theory about it having to do with the screen is just a theory with no real backing behind it at all.
Call HTC, do whatever, try to get confirmation, but until you do, it's really just a guess on your part if they are doing anything at all about this possible issue.
*update*
I just got off the phone with Verizon Rep about the unresponsive screen problem. who didn't know anything about this situation, I made him transfer me to a Verizon Tech after a lot of negotiating.
The Verizon Rep decided to stay on the line with me, and we both spoke to the Verizon Tech about the issue.
After a long explanation on my part, they say its not in there Reported faults so I made Sarah the tech I was talking to go to this forum, and lots of other forums, and search Google for to find information out about this issue.
She found lots of people mentioning they had reported it to Verizon, but it wasn't in the reported faults section.
Therefore she said she noted it in that section, and also forwarded it to HTC as an urgent notice.
She then went on to tell me, that when she dug deeper into their system that she found a couple of cases of where this had happened, and they couldn't find a fix for it so a new phone was shipped.
So it ends up, I have a new phone on its way by Fed-Ex overnight shipping, so it should be here within 2 days. I have not had to pay the $35 restocking fee, and hopefully the new phone won't have the same issue.
Ill update as soon as I get the new phone.
Thanks
This problem does not happen to me as much as some of you. Maybe once a week at the most. Although, to change the subject a bit.. I do get the HTC logo when exiting apps or Killing apps sometimes and it hangs up on the loading screen for about 15-20 seconds. Once again, I figure Im taxing the CPU a little. I still love this phone and hope HTC can take down Apple Corp. (aka Cyberdyne) some day

Time is ticking. The tablet market is hot, and moving very rapidly. All tablet manufacturers have to push these things out as fast as they can, before more competition gets their units out, ramp up production, or newer, better models come along. They don't really have time to come out with a polished and well planned launch. I'm sure this is why it was a NYC only event. They just weren't ready for a full launch, but are trying to get these released as quickly as possible.
Wait, sorry if i'm off here but, everyone is upset because they only have the white model and not the grey one?

if you were there at the launch, you'd be too.
1) no announcements were made that they only had the 16gb white model. there were a lot of people who were waiting longer than me who left the line after hearing the Samsung rep tell me about that. they all wanted a 32gb model, due to the lack of micro sd slot.
2) Samsung reps had no idea when the rest of the models will be available. no eta. only told me to keep coming back. it was a disorganized launch. there were gaps in information between Samsung reps and Best Buy employees. the Samsung rep even admitted that they had to ship some models last second just to even have demo versions.
don't get me wrong.. i'll be going back there again tomorrow in hopes that they suddenly get some new shipments of the grey 32gb model.. fingers crossed.
i bought the 16gb white model the only model available , was planning to get the metallic grey , might return this for the metallic grey once that comes out.
Also got the free leather sleeve . the line wasn't too bad i reached there exactly at noon.
I bet the grey will be out on the 17th. I would be a little bit miffed to get there & wait only to find they have 16GB white models if I was wanting grey or a higher capacity.
They talked the release up enough that they should have mentioned that model was to be the one released.
I'm still bombed at still no word on the 8.9.
I think i'll give it a few more weeks after that I'm probably just going to bite the bullet and place an order for the iPad2 :-|

Yeah it was super fishy that the annouced launch way back from Jan of this year was a one Best Buy only launch with the rest coming a week later.
It appears now from your experience that you are dead on correct, they simply wernt and still ARE NOT ready to launch but are scrambling to get them ready.
The sad part is that the average non XDA tablet buyer will be non the wiser until a major new publication decides to cover this.
My biggest question is this: What is the exact count of 16GB white versions avaliable at Best Buy today?
I would buy the 16gb white one then.... wait and return for whatever tablet you want.

so its safe to say their strategy was a smashing failure. hope this expedites their worldwide launch. they should've premiered elsewhere

I was going to attempt to make a trip out.. glad I didn't.
I pre-ordered mine on bestbuy.com and got 18 months no interest financing (not that I need it or care for it, I guess it is just kind of cool to get)
Just as a side note, does this best buy have a parking? Hey, its NYC and parking is tough
They do not.

HTC getting desperate too boost sales in US with new special

Looks like a 3 day sale to get thir sales numbers up. Their stock took quite a beating the last two days here in Taiwan over criticism they received fom analysts about their sales and CEO.
I would really like to see HTC do better than how they have been doing but reality is they need to get their act together if they want to sell 40 million smartphones of their HTC One and ompete with Samsung on their new Galaxy S4 model.
Listening o what the their customers (consumers) want is one and getting their QC in order is second.
Last few days stocks were doing well here in Asia but HTC shares took a beating here in Taipei. Local news media also called out faults on their new HTC One.
Any iPhone 5 owner who takes that is stupid. You can get way more for the device selling it yourself. For the older phones it's worth it.
can you please explain more what's happening in Taiwan, don't tell me the gap issue?

There's a rumor going around that Samsung is being investigated by the Taiwanese govt for paying people to post up fake reviews about the gapping issue on some phones. These people were blowing the problem way out of proportion and Samsung was paying them to do it. That's why the stock I think took the initial hit.

still not possible to get the ONE here in Austria - they should rather ship(produce more) the phones to get "better" sales. if there's nothing to sell, they cant make profit
It's kind of strange that they are so desperate to sell more units in the US, especially when they have long lists of customers in other countries still waiting to get their phone. And yes, I do realize that once the units have been produced, there are differences between them - but still. My order was placed weeks ago, and there is no sign what so ever that I will get the phone next week either. Bah, I'm almost considering getting the S4 now, I'm tired of waiting

well if u hv limited stock you want to hit key markets --- Austria isnt one..
If you have limited stock you will fail if you can't even fill the orders you do get - regardless of market. Having surplus stock in a market that obviously doesn't have the interest to buy at the price that will be profitable for the compary, while you at the same time lose customers willing to pay the set price in other markets because they don't want to wait any longer sounds like a sinking ship to me..

I think it was more then just a rumor. Samsung has always been sneaky. Fact though is I am not paid by Samsung and I just bought a new HTC One Developers Edition from the US and it came with a few minor scratches, few gaps and the yellowish screen. I posted about this in another thread. If I was not a HTC fan I would not have gone out of my way to buy the a developers a edition model from the the US and have it shipped to me here in Taiwan while the HTC One was being sold here in Taiwan with stock on hand if you have the right connections. I did not want a 32GB 3G model was why I ordered mine from the US.

And frankly all companies turn to community to market their stuff. Some fanboys always go overboard. Sammy/HTC does not even need to pay them anymore, there are plenty who are voluntary fanboys ready to battle against other party FREE of cost

The screen with the warmer screen actually has more neutral color temperature and is brighter.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=39461598&postcount=1
Also, that screen can be corrected easily with Screen Adjuster from GooglePlay by adding +4 to the red color. The cooler version of the screen though cannot be adjusted because it is not possible to remove blue with current apps, so people will have to wait for a custom Kernel with gamma controls to correct color temperature.
Honnestly, if you were lucky to get the more neutral screen, keep it! It is also 10% brighter.

Had to post this twice because for some odd reason I can only upload 1 image attachment on my iPad using the browser.. Here is another picture taken using my iPad of my older HTC One X with the same Google Finance application open and you can see that the whites here are much nicer. The new HTC One I received Compared to my whites on my iPad 3 they practically look very yellowish.
Cameras adjust white balance dynamically. The photos you posted are not useful for comparison.
As already mentioned earlier, the lower color temperature closer to reference and shows a better image in that regard.

A warning to those thinking about exchanging a Cyber Monday Moto X

EDIT: Despite what the CSR below told me, they do offer exchanges. You can do an 'advance return' where they will put a hold on your CC for the full amount of a new device, give you a code to buy a new one, and release the hold when they receive your old device so you're still only charged the original discounted amount. However, you can not exchange a discounted Moto X for one of the new Bamboo ones (read here)
************
I've been looking into the details on exchanging a custom Moto X and was just told via chat that they do not do true "exchanges". Rather, they just have you return the phone, refund you, and have you buy another. So you wouldn't be able to get an exchanged one with the $150 discount. Here's the transcript.
Desiree: Hi, my name is Desiree. How may I help you?
Me: I have a question about the 14 day exchange policy
Me: I am planning on buying a device tonight with the $150 off promotion
Desiree: I will be more than happy to assist you on this.
Desiree: Go ahead, please.
Me: If I don't like my design and want to exchange it within the 14 day window, will I still be able to get a redesigned device at the discounted price?
Desiree: My apologies, the $150 off promotion will not be applicable to the exchange device,
Me: Ok so then you don't really offer exchanges, just returns?
Desiree: My apologies about this but that is how it works.
Me: ok thank you

The one re-design mentioned above applies to when you buy it on contract and get a Moto Maker PIN (in that case, you send the phone back and they give you a new PIN rather than a refund). I just confirmed all this in chat:
So if you don't like your design or were hoping to switch it out for a wood one (if they come out in the next 2 weeks), you're going to have to pay full price for the new one.

Good to know! Just ordered a phone for my brother, hopefully he will not be disappointed with his choices, hahaha.
We here's the real fact if you happen to get a defective one. They do an advance return if you choose it. They are authorize your card just like the nexus exchange after they send you a link to a new build with the same specs (you customize it but it locks in whatever memory config and model you chose before). They then go ahead and build your replacement and ship it. After they receive the return (that they pay to ship back!) They will remove the charge for the new device... Or the authorization. So really, with defects you don't lose out on your deal. I don't know about voluntary returns... But with defects, I'm in the process of it right now and paid the initial order with a coupon.

Updated the OP, it's possible that that CSR was wrong as their twitter states you can exchange it (likely via the method mentioned above). Eitherway, it's annoying their own support can't give consistent answers.
Yeah, I suspect that you can get it exchanged and that their support is either confused or misinformed.
They state that you can exchange your device. Whatever internal process they use for that is not your problem: an exchange is an exchange, and it should result in zero dollars being paid.

I strongly suspect that since I've unlocked my Tmo bootloader, I'm stuck with no chance of exchange.

Well, maybe, but that has nothing to do with the Cyber Monday deal - which was the original question.

They would not do an exchange for me when I had camera issues. I was told their process is to return the unit either for repair or refund, no exchanges.

What, exactly, does that have to do with exchanging a Motomaker device for a different color?
Motorola explicitly states that they will exchange a device within 14 days for a different color configuration. The point is that it doesn't matter how Motorola looks at an "exchange" - any discounts to the original sale would still apply.
My advice: don't waste your time with the chat reps.
As Jayrod said, they do exchanges. What they do is they send you a new "special pin" through email that lets you re-order on MotoMaker (you input the pin at the end). This can be accomplished without a charge on your CC (they give you two options: advance replacement, or regular replacement).
You can replace OR refund even if it is not defective and if you just don't like the colors and even if you open the factory sealed box.
Well the Moto FAQ on the Bamboo back has answered the question a lot of people have been wondering:
I purchased a Moto X from Moto Maker using the a holiday promotion code. Can I switch it to a Moto X with Bamboo?
If your phone falls within our return period, you can return it for a refund of the original purchase price and re-purchase a Moto X with Bamboo. However, the Holiday discount you received will not apply.

Yikes... so then, it's $250 more for Bamboo. Your head would have to be made of wood to exchange for the wood phone.

Pretty much. Maybe if the phone had a Snapdragon 800 and a much better camera I would do it because the phone would be a little more future proof. As it is though, I doubt I'll keep this phone much more than 6 months and definitely not more than a year. As good as the phone is, there is plenty of room for improvement and if I was paying $250 for wood, I wouldn't want the phone to become outdated as quickly as this might.

I agree.
If this phone had the latest and greatest then I can see shelling out that much for a Bamboo back. The Snapdragon 800 should last you a long time into the future. It's too expensive for me is all I'll say. Someone out there will definitely want a phone with a natural back even at the price it commands. I'm sure the process to make these type of backs was very complicated, but it would had made sense to have these out from release date. Hopefully the next version of this phone isn't too far off. The concept of it is really awesome and even with now mid range specs the experience is truly amazing.
I don't see the Moto's X specs being a hindrance to moving forward to next year. Slow down? Maybe a bit, but not too much as to say you will want to scrap it right away. After all the X8 chip is something done right.

I think everyone is needlessly scared about the specs on this device. I just purchased a Moto X and have been using it for 2 weeks now, and have seen no reason to believe it will be out of date before the 1 year mark of my ownership. You really cannot compare the Moto X to other smartphones out right now. It's doing at least two things that no other phone is doing (touchless control, always listening and the active notifications), and it was built with those features in mind. That "crappy" 720p AMOLED screen is such that it is because if you went with a 1080p AMOLED or LCD screen, it would blow through your battery. The "slow" dual core processor runs the OS just fine, and the other CPUs handle the special features instead of the main CPU. Have naysayers actually used the Moto X and compared it to the Nexus 5 (arguable the best comparison of KitKat vs KitKat)? I have. I see absolutely NO performance difference between the Moto X and the Nexus 5, based on things I actually do day-to-day (none of these silly numbers only benchmarks that don't really give you a real representation of how the phone will perform for you).
From a financial perspective, maybe at this point, sure - be skeptical about if it's worth the money to get one, or just wait until September to purchase the next iteration. Then again, if you wait even longer, something even better will be out.
Not being made of money, I have started just purchasing the device that I think is the best device available to me at the time and sticking with it for a year (or longer, if it keeps performing well, and nothing else at that time interests me). Any "flagship" device that you purchase right this minute should last you one year just fine, even if it's already 6 months old. The Moto X should perform just fine until at least next October when we can start thinking about the next big update to Android.
Anyone had luck getting them to do an advance exchange on a dev edition?

Very well stated and I agree. I have been bouncing around all of the flagships of late (N5, G2, HTC One) and finally landed on X. I am surprised at how peppy it is and do not notice any difference in performance next to the N5. Now I don't game at all on my phones but for everyday use the X is fantastic. I like the features and the fact that I can be rooted and still under warranty. Also I love that I don't have to obsess over roms like I was on the N5 and HTC One. Go Moto!!!! Obey Google Now!
How long does it take them to refund you after you send it back?

I was SO READY for a device that just WORKED. One that I didn't feel obligated to unlock, root, and flash a ROM every other weekend to keep it updated with the developer's bug fixes, because it lacked features I wanted or had a terrible OEM skin on it. I haven't even considered rooting my Moto X. Finally, a device from a manufacturer with a UI that's just barely kissed by OEM features, and features that are actually relevant. Coupled with the fact that Motorola usually has the best radios? I'm sold on "good guy Moto" again.

US Unlocked 128GB now available??

Can anyone verify if this version has 6GB of ram like the Chinese counterparts???

There are only 2 variants, 4/64 and 6/128. So yes, it will be 6gb
HTC has confirmed the US Unlocked 128GB also has 4GB of RAM. Kinda of letdown and not worth the extra 80 since it's just an internal storage increase

yup, might as well use the money difference to buy a 128GB or 256GB microSD that works as internal storage in Nougat
coincidently that's how I have mine setup, added 128 GB (Samsung EVO+ Pro super fast) for a total of 192 GB storage
can't find a reputable 25 6GB anywhere. I don't trust those that claims to be 256 GB from eBay and similar places

I actually ended up calling them and it took them a bit to confirm it will ship with 6GB of RAM. Im returning the solar red and upgraded to the 6/128 model. They said other color variants would surface in about 3 weeks. But as other users have stated, HTC is not the most reliable when coming from customer and chat support. So I'll take it with a grain of salt. If any other user hear wishes to upgrade or consider the new U11. Use this code to get 50 off your new device "AMAZINGU11" to bring the price to 679.99
This really kind of pisses me off. I pre-ordered on May 31st with 50 dollars off and got the sapphire. Then they dropped the solar red and I was mildly irritated but dropping the 6/128GB has me fuming right now. HTC said they weren't bringing that model to the US and I'm definitely past the return period (phone arrived June 8th). All of us who were loyal to HTC got screwed. First they remove the text that says bootloader unlock doesn't void the warranty and now they pull this? -_-

I completely understand your situation, I was 6 days away from my 30 day return window. You could always get some money back on swappa. I know it's not the perfect solution but if you really want the upgrade it's better than nothing. I have come to accept smartphones use the same marketing as high end pcs. After 6 months, your devices are obsolete.

It's not so much that I need that model, it's the fact that I would have gotten it if HTC didn't lie about availability in the states. Truth be told, I'm so used to managing with 32GB phones that 64GB is plenty and 6GB of RAM is a total waste (my phone averages 2.6GB-2.8GB used, I've never seen it higher - adding more just seems pointless) but for 80 bucks, I would have done it.
For a company that is struggling to stay alive, they sure are getting adept at pissing off their loyal customers. I had the M7, the M8, skipped the M9 because of the Snapdragon 810, and I have the 10. I've had tons of HTC devices (see my signature) and now they are pulling things like promising the U11 warranty wouldn't be void by unlocking the bootloader just to remove it later to changing the firmware so that it's impossible to have permanent S-OFF to releasing new colors and now a higher speced model they said wasn't coming here... A lot of us are going to end up dropping HTC if they keep this garbage up. HTC needs to be reminded that they are no longer the dominant smartphone force they were in the Windows Mobile and early Android days.
I mean I just got mine a week or so ago. So I knew the higher end model was coming and I have a 128 GB SD card and a TON of flac music files that are large and use over 100 GB and I'm not even sweating it. To ME, the extra money isn't worth it because I'm fine with 192 gig's and 4gb ram.
Unfortunately for you, sometimes that happens when you're an early adopter. I got the 7,8,9,10 all when they first came out so I got burned on the 9 and the thermal issues. So this one, being on Verizon and having no CDMA radio I sat back for a while and saw all the yapping about dropped network, etc. So I took a chance and bought it from Amazon that has a great return policy and couldn't be happier. I thought about the 128 but all my HTCs up to this one have been silver and since that's all that's available now for pre-order, I couldn't be happier than the Sapphire Blue. I've had Samsung,LG, Moto, and am a beta tester for HTC and Moto and I can tell you with certainty that HTC isn't the only company who is confused as hell about what is happening. My Moto I was a freakin rom tester and the people I was dealing with in tech has no idea what was going on in sales and development. It's crazy but it seems to be somewhat the norm.

Android police article without source is no proof to me either. I will believe that is indeed with 6GB storage when somebody provides a solid evidence. I won't throw my money out of the window like that.

I am normally just as picky but I am more than happy with this device. The best, most amazing mobile phone experience I've ever had so I will not let it it bother me. I'm actually proud of HTC and proud to support them. On top of all the freebies they have given me when they did not have to. $100 for free accessories, another $50 just for the heck of it and another $50 for a broken HTC Klik case, and then majorly reduced prices on HTC 10 accessories, I am still within my 30 days but I will keep this great device and keep using it with Verizon.

man! not again... no no no, why!!! ? HTC why ?!?! you do this to me.??!!
geez... I always wanted to 128GB version, but I thought that was only for the Other side of the planet.
I'd have waited for the 128 GB version had they announced it before.
They'll think i'm playing games with them, and keep returning phones, to order them again and again. LOL
after the initial release of the HTC U11 got two, returned them to get 2 red, now they account 128 GB, ... that means I'll most likely return these 2 red ones, for 2 new 128 GB... hopefully in red.

Well of course you're happy, that's a lot of freebies.
I got 50 off my U11, that's it. Oh and the free Iceview case for the 10 along with a second charger and cable. That case was horrible though... it was really cheap plastic. Worth maybe 2 dollars.
I do love the phone and I do love supporting HTC but pulling S-OFF and the warranty shenanigans irks me. I guess we will have to see if they reverse course or not.
My phone is pretty much flawless so even if I could trade it in, I wouldn't risk it with all the complaints about dead/stuck pixels, light bleed, etc.

If the Iceview case was built to last longer it would have been one of the best cases I ever owned. I did not need a screen protector with it and it did not allow dust and dirt to get in like the rest of the cases. The HTC 10 aluminum is very soft and get nicked very easily just by dust getting in. I never had that problem until the case split and started using the HTC Klik. Now I wish the U11 wallet case had some type of front window.
I was THRILLED to see the 128/6 model finally released in the U.S. Getting one asap. To bad T-Mobile won't be carrying the u11. Sucks for them. But sucks for us too for those who would have benefited from 0% financing.

What exactly do you mean??? Their own website says that they will unlock the bootloader AND still honor the warranty. So I am not sure what you mean.
Is there a new announcement to say otherwise?
