There are only 2 variants, 4/64 and 6/128. So yes, it will be 6gb

HTC has confirmed the US Unlocked 128GB also has 4GB of RAM. Kinda of letdown and not worth the extra 80 since it's just an internal storage increase

Chat reps are clueless. Android Police confirmed with HTC that it is 6/128.

yup, might as well use the money difference to buy a 128GB or 256GB microSD that works as internal storage in Nougat
coincidently that's how I have mine setup, added 128 GB (Samsung EVO+ Pro super fast) for a total of 192 GB storage
can't find a reputable 25 6GB anywhere. I don't trust those that claims to be 256 GB from eBay and similar places

I actually ended up calling them and it took them a bit to confirm it will ship with 6GB of RAM. Im returning the solar red and upgraded to the 6/128 model. They said other color variants would surface in about 3 weeks. But as other users have stated, HTC is not the most reliable when coming from customer and chat support. So I'll take it with a grain of salt. If any other user hear wishes to upgrade or consider the new U11. Use this code to get 50 off your new device "AMAZINGU11" to bring the price to 679.99

This really kind of pisses me off. I pre-ordered on May 31st with 50 dollars off and got the sapphire. Then they dropped the solar red and I was mildly irritated but dropping the 6/128GB has me fuming right now. HTC said they weren't bringing that model to the US and I'm definitely past the return period (phone arrived June 8th). All of us who were loyal to HTC got screwed. First they remove the text that says bootloader unlock doesn't void the warranty and now they pull this? -_-

I completely understand your situation, I was 6 days away from my 30 day return window. You could always get some money back on swappa. I know it's not the perfect solution but if you really want the upgrade it's better than nothing. I have come to accept smartphones use the same marketing as high end pcs. After 6 months, your devices are obsolete.

It's not so much that I need that model, it's the fact that I would have gotten it if HTC didn't lie about availability in the states. Truth be told, I'm so used to managing with 32GB phones that 64GB is plenty and 6GB of RAM is a total waste (my phone averages 2.6GB-2.8GB used, I've never seen it higher - adding more just seems pointless) but for 80 bucks, I would have done it.
For a company that is struggling to stay alive, they sure are getting adept at pissing off their loyal customers. I had the M7, the M8, skipped the M9 because of the Snapdragon 810, and I have the 10. I've had tons of HTC devices (see my signature) and now they are pulling things like promising the U11 warranty wouldn't be void by unlocking the bootloader just to remove it later to changing the firmware so that it's impossible to have permanent S-OFF to releasing new colors and now a higher speced model they said wasn't coming here... A lot of us are going to end up dropping HTC if they keep this garbage up. HTC needs to be reminded that they are no longer the dominant smartphone force they were in the Windows Mobile and early Android days.

I mean I just got mine a week or so ago. So I knew the higher end model was coming and I have a 128 GB SD card and a TON of flac music files that are large and use over 100 GB and I'm not even sweating it. To ME, the extra money isn't worth it because I'm fine with 192 gig's and 4gb ram.
Unfortunately for you, sometimes that happens when you're an early adopter. I got the 7,8,9,10 all when they first came out so I got burned on the 9 and the thermal issues. So this one, being on Verizon and having no CDMA radio I sat back for a while and saw all the yapping about dropped network, etc. So I took a chance and bought it from Amazon that has a great return policy and couldn't be happier. I thought about the 128 but all my HTCs up to this one have been silver and since that's all that's available now for pre-order, I couldn't be happier than the Sapphire Blue. I've had Samsung,LG, Moto, and am a beta tester for HTC and Moto and I can tell you with certainty that HTC isn't the only company who is confused as hell about what is happening. My Moto I was a freakin rom tester and the people I was dealing with in tech has no idea what was going on in sales and development. It's crazy but it seems to be somewhat the norm.

Android police article without source is no proof to me either. I will believe that is indeed with 6GB storage when somebody provides a solid evidence. I won't throw my money out of the window like that.

I am normally just as picky but I am more than happy with this device. The best, most amazing mobile phone experience I've ever had so I will not let it it bother me. I'm actually proud of HTC and proud to support them. On top of all the freebies they have given me when they did not have to. $100 for free accessories, another $50 just for the heck of it and another $50 for a broken HTC Klik case, and then majorly reduced prices on HTC 10 accessories, I am still within my 30 days but I will keep this great device and keep using it with Verizon.

man! not again... no no no, why!!! ? HTC why ?!?! you do this to me.??!!
geez... I always wanted to 128GB version, but I thought that was only for the Other side of the planet.
I'd have waited for the 128 GB version had they announced it before.
They'll think i'm playing games with them, and keep returning phones, to order them again and again. LOL
after the initial release of the HTC U11 got two, returned them to get 2 red, now they account 128 GB, ... that means I'll most likely return these 2 red ones, for 2 new 128 GB... hopefully in red.

128GB comes with amazing silver only for now. Yo may want to ask them if they are going to offer it in red in the near future. =b

Straight from the horse's mouth peeps. The description has been updated on the HTC website and confirms 100% that the 128GB model ships with 6GB RAM

Well of course you're happy, that's a lot of freebies.
I got 50 off my U11, that's it. Oh and the free Iceview case for the 10 along with a second charger and cable. That case was horrible though... it was really cheap plastic. Worth maybe 2 dollars.
I do love the phone and I do love supporting HTC but pulling S-OFF and the warranty shenanigans irks me. I guess we will have to see if they reverse course or not.
My phone is pretty much flawless so even if I could trade it in, I wouldn't risk it with all the complaints about dead/stuck pixels, light bleed, etc.

If the Iceview case was built to last longer it would have been one of the best cases I ever owned. I did not need a screen protector with it and it did not allow dust and dirt to get in like the rest of the cases. The HTC 10 aluminum is very soft and get nicked very easily just by dust getting in. I never had that problem until the case split and started using the HTC Klik. Now I wish the U11 wallet case had some type of front window.

I was THRILLED to see the 128/6 model finally released in the U.S. Getting one asap. To bad T-Mobile won't be carrying the u11. Sucks for them. But sucks for us too for those who would have benefited from 0% financing.

What exactly do you mean??? Their own website says that they will unlock the bootloader AND still honor the warranty. So I am not sure what you mean.
Is there a new announcement to say otherwise?

HTC HD2 breaks free in the T-Mobile USA wilds $199.99 on contract ($449.99 unlocked)

found this What do you think" here is the link.... http://www.engadget.com/2010/03/08/htc-hd2-breaks-free-in-the-t-mobile-usa-wilds/ and here...http://www.engadget.com/2010/03/02/htc-hd2-and-moto-cliq-xt-pricing-revealed-in-t-mobile-database/
Ok, so
I've been a WM user back since CE 2.0 and currently am carrying a T-Mobile Dash and a Toshiba E805, so I'm ready to upgrade the two of them into a HD2, but am curious about the potential for this thing. I don't want to be locked in to a EOL (End of Life) item from the start, and am willing to wait a few months for WM7, but in reality with all the purchased software I own I doubt I'd be happy losing it all and starting fresh with WM7. I'd tend to go with a different platform, maybe a N1 or an (gasp) Iphone but my problem is I'm a hopeless tinkerer and techie so I will definately NOT be happy on a closed platform.
Although I'm not a fan of M$ the CE/WM platform is amazingly open and compliant to my wishes, although the 32 process limit has been a nightmare, I've been pretty happy with it. The E805 with 640x480 looks and performs great, I have a larger battery so I can run it pretty much all day.
Oh, I'm currently using T-Zones and really don't want to pay $30 for Internet on whatever I get.
So my question to you folks who either have a HD2 already or know more about this than I is should I get the HD2 at the end of the month and live with the platform for 3-5 more years, possibly with vendors limiting support, seeing lots of new stuff come out for the newer platforms that will be there, or should I wait for this market to flesh out and go for a new architecture?
Thanks,
Marc

you're thinking about it when it's sold at THOSE prices?
I am deeply offended, admitting the news are real.
I cannot tolerate that on 21st january I had to spend 440€ on this phone, one-month used by another person (plus everything else I had to buy on it, totalling 500€ roughly), while it's being sold NEW in the US, unbranded, with 1GB ROM, officially supported 576MB RAM, an included 16GB microsd, for what is the equivalent of less than 330€.
It's like stepping on users' money.
I am not among those complaining about "newer hd2 with more rom", but I am sure as heck furious about it being sold, new and with better bundle, for roughly 25% less than what I payed my used phone less than couple months ago.

well, that is just the nature of the beast. you don't even want to know what i paid for an xperia x1 when it first came out and what it sold for 3 months later. or my iphone and what it sold for 3 months later
nothing you can do about it. either buy it right away at the higher price or wait it out. what you are paying for is the early usage of the device, sucks but that is just how it goes.
I guess my main problem with this is with the announcement of WM7 support for this beast will wane. I can get a N1 or an Iphone which AREN'T new platforms, will have lots of support, and likely get updates for a long time. The HD2 (which I've been waiting for almost a year for) has great hardware, probobly a bit better than either of those other two, but is it worth it to lock my self in to obsolescence?

Nexus S = Rip off?

Hey guys, ordered this in the UK but I'm hearing so many bad things about it.
No Gorilla glass
GPS problems
Feels cheap
Plastic
Crap camera
.....and so on!
£549 quid this cost me and feels like with all the comments it's only worth half that.
To those who own the handset, what's the build quality like and is it simply a good handset to justify the price?
Thanks
£549 is definitely far too much in my option. Simply because it's nearly £150 more than it's being sold for in the US.
My N1 set me back £412 after shipping and taxes.

I can really understand your point, but this is google's phone, it will be updated constantly and all problems rectified quickly, i think it was rushed out for christmas..... HTC phones or Samsung phones are also not without their problems, and i think we are looking at the negatives too much without enjoying the many positives.
549 IS a rip off, thats understood... But we have to understand that the 330 pounds plus VAT & Shipping from the US will add to the price. There is no doubt that this phone is the best Android phone to date, we just need to give Google time to iron out the errors.
GPS is working fine with 98 percent of devices, which sort of falls into line with what we see with other devices.
When you get your phone, enjoy your purchase, and then wait for the next nexus, which will probably be next xmas to upgrade again. I have told myself now that nexus phones are the only way to have a good google experience. HTC phones have major build quality and hardware flaws, and coupled with there inability to even put a decent screen on their flagship device should be seen as showing exactly what they think of their customers. LCD on the Desire HD = Joke. It looks like someone threw domestos bleach over the screen from an off straight viewing angle, lol
Enjoy your device man... Because there is nothing better atm Well at least untill the next Nexus drops;P

I got mine in US. It is no Rip Off this is by far the best Android far i have used and i just came from a NexuS One. It is a good phone Im enjopying every moment of it. People just want too much. Even if it had all the stuff u mentioned people would STILL cry. You would'nt understand until you have it in your hands on it.
The price in the US is $529 which is £340.78. How much is the VAT, 17.5%?
The correct price in the UK should be £400.42.

Add around 50 quid for each phone to ship and CPW's large cut,
the phone's fair price should be 499.99
But alas, we do not live in a fair world.

Thanks for all the messages guys.
The price is rather shocking here in the UK 'like everything' so I'm kind of used to that. Sounds very cheaply built which I find very, very worrying for the price.

It does feel that way. But the perfomance is just out this world. It actually deosnt feel THAT cheap though
Reasons not to get the Desire HD
May not get Honeycomb officially (will defo get 2.3)
Internal and external speaker problems, and very quiet. Internal speaker has high static jolts when calling over 2g. This is also the same for the Desire Z.
Heavy phone over a large area, 160g.
Scratch the metal back and your phone devalues without possible rectification.
Terrible screen, big but blacks are very bleached and also you have a white hue over the phone when viewing from an off straight angle.
Horrible battery cover, gap in the back part + easily bends and warped....

Cool, been having a dodgy hour or two thinking about the phone cause I'm snowed in off work. Hahaha
I'll wait and judge when it's in my hands but I appreciate all the good comments guys.
The Super AMOLED screen will awe and amaze you. Fricking gorgeous.
I've also got an iPhone 4, Nexus One, and even a Galaxy S i9000. The Galaxy S and Nexus S are by far my favorite screens. I've also compared them to Desire HD, Droid X and a few others. The MyTouch 4G is the only thing that comes close in my opinion, followed right behind by the iPhone 4, but the iPhone's 3.5" is just too small.
Also, this phone is fast! Screw benchmarks, they're not real-world "feel" of the phone. Out of the box, this NS is as fast as my "lag-fixed" modded overclocked Galaxy S, which has posted Quadrant scores of 2200+.

Shipping? From where? It's not made in the US. Shipping from Asia to the UK should be the same as shipping from Asia to the US.
CPW is the UK version of Best Buy. The $529 is including BB's cut, the £400 should be including CPW's cut.
The correct price should be £400. Personally I'd be willing to pay £450, or even £500 if I got it now, before the 20th.

Samsung has big factory's in the USA as well, and if its made in South Korea i bet 1000000's that the USA have big deals with them for tax free importing. I still maintain that 499 pounds is a fair price...

If you're unsure, and own an N1, wait till it gets it's 2.3 OTA update, then go and compare it like for like with an NS in your local CPW.
I plan on doing that even though I'm pretty certain I don't want to get an NS heh

Good phone for the wife?

So we are looking in to switching from Verizon to T-Mobile, currently the wife's # is out of contract and I have been looking into phones I like the price tag of the Nexus 4 and if it where for me I'd get it no questions but it's for the wife. The only phone she has had is an iPhone 4s so I'm wondering if this would be a good replacement? I've looked at some extensive reviews and I'd say yes, but I wanted more of a long term opinion would you guys or gals have your significant other (non techy individual) use this phone?

i think that xiaomi red ice for you wife is the correct phone!
it costs around 150$ and it includes miui v5 with android 4.2.2 and they are always updating!
is a chinese brand but the quality is so good and the screen is made by AUO the same as apple!
http://www.xiaomi.es/#!xiaomi-redrice-general/c1kk2
My wife thought the phone was a little to thick for her to use with one hand comfortably. (No jokes please).
Her last 2 phones were a HTZ Rezound and a Motorola RAZR M. She said she has no idea how people use phones with bigger screens then that but then she held the HTC ONE. Well needless to say, she ended up with the HTC ONE. It felt thinner and narrower in her hand then the N4.
Could she have used the N4, yes but another one of her requirments was a good camera...
As long as the size is okay for your wife and based on her other requirements in a phone, the phone itself and the software just running stock 4.3 work perfect. With older versions of Android I would usually say you really would need to tweak it for the average user to enjoy it but 4.3 is running better then ever and can pretty much please anyone just running stock. Heck, I am running stock and don't feel the need to change right now to a custom. Only tweak I really needed was to make the Nav bar smaller and it is perfect now!

Without hesitation!!
I got one for mine and she loves it...I left it all stock, but did root it as she likes to change fonts like the weather changes...IDK why but I'm not going to ask her...Sometimes you're better off not knowing why
It took her a little getting use to the size difference. Had a 4s and an Atrix 4g.
Now she wouldn't go back. No lagging runs smooth as glass...speaking of which
If you do get her 1 I'd recommend getting a case right away as they are a slippery phone and glass front and back.
AS for the camera not being outstanding...it's a phone 1st and foremost, and takes some decent pics with a little tweaking.
There is a thread showing off some pics in the general section...Link Here
The price vs performance ratio can't be matched right now.
No contract crap, updates before any other phones, you own a quad core phone outright for a couple hundred $$.
Deal!!
Good Luck!!
I swear to God that when I read your post I read: "Good phone OR wife" hahahahahaha
That happens to a lot of people in here... including myself... if we get a good phone, we may lose our wives! hahahahahaha
Like mentioned by one of the previous users, Android 4.3 has come a long ways. For the first time, I am actually running the stock ROM (with root and a few modifications). For the average consumer, the N4 is a very viable option, ESPECIALLY at the current price of 199/249.
Size could be a concern and the HTC One is definitely a better design for folks who have small hands, but I think the N4 is by no means uncomfortable. Having come from a HTC Sensation and Galaxy Nexus, the phone feels better in my hands than either of the two previous devices.
8gb are gone now, only 16gb($249) is currently available. Just ordered one saturday and shipped today. Hopefully im not disappointed when i get it

There is definitley nothing to be dissapointed with! Coming from an S3 I don't miss it at all. With the wife having an HTC ONE, it is a great device for her but I would personally take an N4 any day.
Stock Android with quick updates just cannot be beat! Also, I do not even understand why they made this phone in an 8GB version. Talk about limiting a device and what you can do with it. What is there like 4-5GB of usable space when it is all said and done.
Good thing for people buying one today that there are no 8GB ones left. You will be happier with the 16GB which is still kind of pushing the low end size of memory but is at least somewhat do-able.

Thanks for the insight.. and yeah i love the phone overall, based on the reviews, videos, pictures online. The only thing that can really disappoint me are the negative things i keep reading online, major issues with it. Some on top of my head are: "Sleep of death", "Reception really bad", "call buz", "battery Leaking" "Red light of death" all of those make me not want the phone LOL. I know this does not mean ALL devices come with these problems, just saying I would hate to recieve a Lemon Lol
Well it looks like we might have to put the switch on hold her car is acting up and I fear it will need a transmission.. I did the math and if I buy out of our Verizon contract for the other 2 lines we would end up saving around $250 in the first 15 months that's after paying $450 to end the contract. And that's with getting 3 new phones on tmoble. Might just get a G2.

Doesn't work. While you can unlock the iPhone 4s from other carriers you can not from Verizon, unlocking a verizon phone only let's it work international nor on local networks. Unless I missed something bc I'd be all over that if someone has info I don't.

64GB Model Production Pushed Up, 16GB Pushed Back

If anyone is paying attention to the main production thread, the post has been edited.
What we've done is dramatically increase the amount of 64GB Sandstone Black models in our production plans, while producing 16GB Silk White as long as they don't delay the time to market for Sandstone Black.
Our production schedule is as follows:
Ready now - 100 for phone smashers
Mid to late May - Larger batch 16GB Silk White for the first batch of invites
Late May to early June - Larger batch 64GB Sandstone Black
Later in June - Increased general availability, people who want it should be able to get an invite without much trouble in June
Update May 6: After seeing how popular the 64GB version was compared to the 16GB, we have pushed back the production of the 16GB Silk White in favor of getting the 64GB Sandstone Black out quicker.

So, good news for those of you who want to get your hands on the 64.
Great news!! :good: :good: :good:
Quite honestly, I'm angry about the delay of the 16 GB model. However, OnePlus is appealing to the majority of their customers, who want their 64 GB model. But in all honesty, this doesn't make a bit of difference. Chances are incredibly slim that any of us will get one of the early invites in late May/early June. We're all most likely going to get the phone in late June when it is finally given "general availability". And by that time, they should have 16 GB and 64 GB to sell to us. In all likelihood, this is just a marketing tactic to make the company seem more consumer-oriented (which isn't to say they aren't; they're still great in my eyes.) Just my two cents on the situation. The people on the OnePlus forums are practically going to war over which version should be released first. Just keep a level head, and we should all be happy and satisfied by late June

I agree with you 100% all this is just a strategy from Oneplus and I have my hopes for late June. The early invites will be very difficult to get unless something very odd happens like Oneplus delivering high availability. But I understand that it's a new company with a different marketing approach to what we are used to here in the west.
My gut feeling is it will be screwed initially like it was during initial nexus 4 launch.. Fingers crossed!

They should've had one version with 32 GB internal storage and a micro SD card slot to avoid these kind of problems.
no they shouldnt have. the production cost between 16gb and 64gb is about $50. if they did a 32gb model, there would be even less of a reason to get that as the price would be closer to the 64gb. since their goal was to get a model phone below $300, having 16gb model alongside the 64gb makes sense. the nexus 5 doesnt have an sd card card reader, and you shouldnt expect a less expensive phone to have it. if you want that functionality, buy an otg adapter. otg exists on phones for a reason.

I believe what Invalid-GR is saying is that instead of having 2 models (16 and 64GB) they should have just produced one (32GB with uSD slot.) I would agree. 64GB is good enough for me at this point, but the option of expanding is great to have. Reason I haven't updated to the Moto X, or the G2, or the M7, is the fixed storage mostly. I'm not interested in storing my media files in the cloud and streaming it on demand since I don't always have good cellular access. But this dang SGS2 is on its deathbed!
Personally I feel people need to quit with the complaining, you're getting 64GB for only $50 more. That's still a far better deal than even a Nexus 5 with just 32GB in it. They are a SMALL company, so going with what is more popular and more in demand is the best thing they can do. Why produce a mountain of 16GB when the majority wants the 64GB? I'd understand your complaints if it were against Samsung for not putting out a 32GB S5 for the US ( Which they haven't ). For me I'm going 64GB because it's a better deal all the way around. I wouldn't touch ANY phone with 16GB and no microSD, because that's just too little storage overall anymore. Far as I'm concerned they really should start making the low end storage start at 32GB instead of 16GB.
theyre not going to make a 32gb version cause then it would be about $325-$330 and there would be even less of a reason to buy one. and they are not going to add an sdcard reader for the same reason the nexus's and iphones dont have one.

Everything you told is correct. But since one of their major investors is OPPO, they are not small let alone "SMALL". They should ramp up their production and make it available worldwide.

Investors mean they are backing them financially, doesn't mean we know how much and to what extent. Investors put their money behind you to do what you can with how much they give. They don't do your work, production, shipping, orders, etc. That's all on you, it's a sink or swim deal there. So if they don't wish to drive the cost of the device up, which it would if everyone here got their way and they did everything a lot of you think they should. Instead of $349 it would be more like $549 or even higher. They're doing everything they can to keep out third party companies, distributors and the like. This keeps the device's cost down considerably. So what they need to do, is continue with what they're doing.
They've already stated that in late June ( Which is just around the corner here ) they will begin to roll out invites much faster as they ramp up production based on demand. Remember, Google had a major disaster on their hands with the Nexus 4. Look how much money that company has, how big they are and yet they still had one of the biggest pre-order muck ups in recent history. So I can understand OnePlus wanting to tread lightly. Problem is, so many people have this me me me disorder. Everything has to be right now, right then or I wont do business with you. You'd think after all this time, we'd learned to have at least a little patience and give others a chance to see if this works or not. Just because a few people get their panties in a bunch, doesn't mean their system doesn't work.

Maybe you got offended. First thing I am happy the way they are working because at least they came up with an idea of a cheap phone with great hardware. They are doing a fair job. Secondly Oneplus is more of a subsidiary company to oppo, that is how much they own it. And I am just a little disappointed that my country did not make it to the first list in spite of it being such a huge market. And people who are complaining have no right to complain since it's all the company's decision to whether launch a phone in a particular market or not or at what price and in what way. I am just hopeful of it's earliest availability to everyone in the future and not just the already listed countries.
No offence bro if I again wrote something offensive.

Between mobile carriers, manufacturers and whoever/whatever marketing strategies; I"m sick of all of them...I could not find any specifications in regards to a microSD expansion slot but at first glance it looks to be pretty good at the $349 price mark for the 64GB device, a solid $300 cheaper than any other 64GB device out there. I'm beginning to believe there is no such thing as a perfect device; too many hands in the cookie jar.

If this phone had a replaceable battery and microSD it'd be perfect to me, even if it cost $100 or 200 more. But these days, it's like most things - there's trade-offs, so nothing's perfect. I'll be looking to get this one and hand down my Nexus 5 to the better-half.
I had hoped to break the root/ROM cycle with the Nexus 5, but alas, it didn't have OTG capability unless it was rooted. I figured, if I've rooted it, might as well go all the way. With the OnePlus One, it should have all I want/need without all the trouble to root and find a good ROM for it.
And those specs for the price is makes it a better value than the Nexus 5! I think a lot of crying about the 16/64GB versions would disappear if they had a white 64GB version for the same price at the black one! I prefer black myself, but some want the white one. Also, the backs are replaceable so there will be some customization there as well. I just hope there's one with a kick-stand!
That's my 2¢!

Canada - Waiting Room/ Discussion

Hey fellow Canadians! What a time to be alive hey! Once again it's that time of year. Hope we can aggregate all Canadian concerns here. We'll start it as a waiting room and let it evolve into something more Cheers!
Well I guess I'll go first! Pre-ordered the Note 20 Ultra directly from Samsung on release day! Got the bronze color with the Bud's live. Weird thing is that it wouldn't let me get the buds in the same color. Status as of today is preparing for dispatch and it should ship on August 17th! I also picked the monthly payments over on year but since the first payment is October 5th I'll probably just pay it off in one lump sum. ?

I jumped on the pre order then saw no 512gb mustic bronze available.
i need 512gb and absolutely do not want black.
they base all the advertising on this colour then dont offer it in the larger storage? did the same thing last year with aura glow but at least its 256gb....going backwards is not for me.
im pissed to say the least...its so frustrating.
i may skip the note and go for the fold 2..unless they screw that up also.

i was 1000% sure id get it but the colour thing then the fact that its not quite as ultra as the S20 is pisses me off lol (granted Im easily pissed off haha).
less ram, lesser cameras, smaller battery, no 45 w charge etc etc. they left alot on the table.
just seems like they got lazy and just didn't bother to try and outdo the S20 and the note is supposed to be the flagship.

That's the thing though. It is better than the S20 UFS 3.1, SD865+, GG Vertus laser auto focus. The latter addresses my biggest issue with the Ultra. I actually downgraded to the s20+ which I think is better than the ultra. For a lot of people, me included the note 20 ultra is a better value proposition than the S20 ultra.
The battery is smaller but the refresh rate switches to accommodate the lesser battery. That combined with the fact that even the s20 5000mah ultra battery couldn't beat the iPhone 11 Pro Max's 3960mah battery makes the whole battery argument a moot point for me. It charges fast and last the whole day. That's all I need.

Bronze is ok but at least by pics it's just not for me and when I first strayed from black was with the Note 7 so I feel cursed if I buy anything other than black hahaha. I love my Note 10+ but my wife is ready for an upgrade (well at least in my mind she is lol) from her S8 and since I love new toys I will give her my Note 10+ then we're both set for a couple years easy lol. That's my way of justifying the purchase heh.

my 256gb note 10 plus has about 30gb free...im definitely going to run out in the next few months.
I used to keep everything on my sd card...then my first note 9 got stolen from my gym and the prick who stole it has full access to all my pics etc since he can just pull the sd card out.
since then everything stays on my internal since its almost impossible to get into a locked phone these days.
I do to much tinkering and always accidentally wipe my internal storage..lol

Why does Samsung not offer dual sim models in Canada? I have a note 10 and had to order an international version to get dual sim. I am not going back to carrying two phones again!
Cracked screen trade-in (Can vs US)
So the BS continues for us Canadians, I did the comparison of trade-in values on cracked screens.
My NOTE 9 trade-in value in Canada is $38 where as in the states same phone is $350.
We're getting a crippled version of the Watch 3 because of slow government acceptance and we have to pay over 2k for NOTE 20 Ultra (512GB) with one color option...
Also, the fine print for the 0% financing option says there's a $6.95 monthly fee but hey ZERO PERCENT INTEREST!
I think someone should supply a shovel, it's getting deeper by the day.

Oh we're far from perfect, better yes but definitely not close to perfection. Just look at our exchange rate for one. I lose a quarter for every Canadian dollar, there's one thing you 'mericans are doing better, taking us to the cleaners

in a perfect country I could open carry, if I got caught with a firearm on me here i go to jail.
Here in Canada if someone breaks into my house and I shoot them I go to jail.
about as far from perfect as it gets, more like totally backwards.
about as OT as it gets lol.

What? $6.95 monthly fee? Crazy. My an was to pay it all off in one lump sum on October 5th when the 1st payment is due. Well now I'm even more motivated. Thanks for the info. ?
